I particularly appreciated the free hot breakfast--a big step up from stale buns. The hotel seemed to cater to business travel. The rooms were quite comfortable, although definitely not lavish. Everything was quite clean, and the threadbare bathmat was the only thing that seemed to have slipped through quality control.

I wish there were more locations!

I chose this for its location. The hotel was a very nice hotel on the inside and the staff was very accommodating. I was very surprised with the free breakfast, it was a FANTASTIC! spread every morning. The rooms were very CLEAN! and the shower had a ton of pressure, no weak shower and HOT which I like.

I had an enjoyable stay. The 2 drinks for each room was an added bonus. If I am ever in the area again I will keep your hotel in mind. Thanks to your staff.

This hotel had nice facilities, but it was lacking a certain something. When checking in we were given a single king room when we booked a double queen. We had to go back to the desk and have the room changed. The pool was cold and the hours of use are not friendly to morning people(pool doesn't open till 10:00 with 11:00 being check-out). What a GREAT place to stay! Great Breakfast and ok happy hour. Comfortable spacious rooms and nice bed and many pillows to choose from. Just sorry I didn't arrive earlier and sorry I only had to stay one night. Most definitely stay there again next time my travels bring me to the area.

My husband and I wanted a short getaway to de-stress for cheap, so we went to the Clubhouse Inn (Westmont) to stay after visiting the Brookfield Zoo (about 10-15 minutes away). It was wonderful! We got there and were offered popcorn and 2 complimentary drinks per adult. Not to mention, the environment was nice and clean. The staff was friendly, it was […] all-together great. While the building is clean and employees are very nice, we couldn't believe, in this day and age, that a multi-floor hotel would not have any elevators. If you have more than a carry-on bag, make sure you get a first floor room!

We enjoyed our stay, nice and quiet, delicious free breakfast.

I had a great experience with this hotel. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. I really enjoyed the amenities such as the happy hour and breakfast buffet. The hotels I've researched in the price range didn't even offer a pool. the fire alarm went off on my second day which was a little inconvenient to exit with my infant at 10 am, but I feel that […] that was at no fault of the hotel. overall I had a wonderful visit and would recommend the hotel to anyone who needed a place to stay in that area. My wife and I wanted a quiet place to take a break from everything during the week. The Clubhouse fulfilled that request perfectly. The hotel was very clean, confortable rooms, a nice staff and a great breakfast in the morning. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back again.

The hotel room was spacious. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was above average. The only negative was a very hard bed (unless that is what you prefer). Hotel had good overall value.

Clean, comfortable. Friendly staff. A nice breakfast served daily. I would recommend if anyone is looking for a clean, comfortable hotel to stay in. There is also a pool open daily

For the money it's just OK.

i have been relying on reviews for my approaching trip to puerto rico and a royal carribean cruise bookings lately, i dont write myself but this place was ridiculous! we checked in and the gentleman was very nice but that is where it ended. our room 161 was dirty there was a dirty washcloth hanging over the shower curtain and garbage in the can by the […] desk, this was also suppose to be a deluxe guest room not seeing it. i also requested online a room on the top floor with a view nature/city, this room was on ground level facing a parking lot re-tension wall, almost felt deliberately bad. we were moved to room 163 with an apology from our same check in clerk. he reminded us of the free cocktail hour which is really only two free drinks. we went to our new room to relax, take in a movie, which we had to call the desk to start, they said it would take 15 minutes, we ran to get something to eat...forgot, still had to pay for movie about 2 am our toilet broke. my husband a plumber adjusted it till morning, a latino woman apologized like it was nothing but for my husband, it was something,he WORKED on our mini getaway! This is one of the cleanest hotels I've visited in this price category. Travelers looking for bargains with reasonable amenities will be pleased.

The room was very clean and spacious. The breakfast buffet was very good. The checkout was quick and efficient. I would definitely recommend to any traveler.

Alot of stores close by Target, Kmart and various food venues in surrounding areas near by, as a matter of fact thier is shushi restaraunt and a subway shop in plaza across the street, not bad for the price, 2 comp drinks from the bar each night 17-1900 and a full breakfast in the am, the staff esp. the ones cleaning the rooms are very friendly. We had stayed at this hotel a few years ago and liked it very much, however, it appears that the ownership, and or, management has changed since then. Not enough towels,etc. in room and the manager's reception in late afternoon was a joke with plain soda crackers, small amount of thin cheese, a jar of salsa with taco chips and nothing else to eat. Hotel was a good value for the price. Convenient location, good breakfast and free internet. Location of room was somewhat noisy. Great place if you want to be n the western burbs of Chicago and need a hotel as a jumping off point.

I chose this hotel because it was 5 miles from my relatives’ home. It was better than I expected! The room was big and modern. The breakfast buffet was more than adequate. The free drinks and snacks were as expected (you get what you pay for), but still a nice extra! There was a big fireplace and plenty of T.V.s to watch. We enjoyed our stay here very much. 2 suggestions: Open the pool before 10am for people who swim for excercise, and ask the a couple of the front desk people to try and be abit more friendly.

I am not sure if I really would highly recommend this hotel because the good and the bad are pretty equal. (The Good:) 1.Price are affordable especially for the area. 2.The location of the hotel is pretty nice. We had to haul all of our luggages in this hotel up and down the staircase, very inconvinient in my opinion. 4.The amenities like swimming pool and hot tub although warm needed some lift since it is not appealing at all. Stayed at the Clubhouse for 4 days and found it to be a great place for lodging. The rooms were clean, although the decor was plain: no Picasso's here. The breakfast was super, all you could ask for. The staff was most helpful. No elevator to the second floor though. I did enjoy the quiet and the location was good. Would recommend to others

MY FAMILY AND I LOVED THE HOTEL. ALMOST LEFT, WHEN WE FOUND OUT THERE WASN'T AN ELEVATOR.THE STAFF WAS GREAT. MY SISTER LOVED HAPPY HOUR.( CHILDREN CAN COME FOR THE POP.) Hotel was about 30 minutes from Chicago. Good breakfast with eggs, sausage, and biscuits, although we missed breakfast on Monday, because we didn't know that breakfast ends early on weekdays. They are doing a great job maintaining this hotel and it is in a nice area. I like that the windows open (many 4 and 5 star hotels don't have windows that open. The included breakfast is great!

Room was clean and staff responsive to basic requests. Hot breakfast was a definite plus.

The hotel is about 20-25 minutes from downtown Chicago, so it's a little bit of a drive. The breakfast was good. The hotel is located near a supermarket and a pharmacy, so that was helpful to us. Staff was friendly.

Nice hotel - outside building could use some paint. Good service and great breakfast and very reasonable price!

Was very surprised when we checked in at the Clubhouse that it did not have an elevator or any way of taking the luggage up the stairs. Had to struggle up our selves no one to help, we are elderly and had not been informed of this. The room was great, clean and housekeeping was super. Just did not like that we had to have a room on the second floor, […] the desk clerk said we should have asked for first floor when we made a reservation. How could we if we didn't know. Mehr

The Clubhouse Inn is in a great location, just off Ogden Ave. The hotel is clean but very basic, nothing fancy. I would stay here again on short trips. My only complaint is noisy neighbors who were quite noisy around 3am but that can't be helped.

What a nice place to stay! The staff was friendly, rooms were clean, food was good. The only negative review I can give is that the beds a nice and clean, however they aren't the most comfortable to sleep on and for doubles they were full size beds. Makes for a not so room sleep with a mate, lol........ Other than that great stay.

I was told that I would only have to pay for one day even if I arrived at the Hotel at 4:00am. I was charged for one day with hotels.com, but after checking in and getting in the room, around 10:00am the Hotel Cleaning supervisor said we had to check out or pay for another day. We had ony been ther since 4:30am. We were told by the Hotel service that […] we would only have to pay for one day and it would be ok to check out Sunday. This is why I called the Hotel before we booked. I missed some of my festivites because I was going round and round with the Worker and the Manager about what was said, so the Manager said she had to take her employers word for it because she had been there for many years and they should all know what to say to the customers. My Aunt and I were both on the phone with Heather when she stated that it would be ok to check in at 4:00am and check out by 12Noon Sunday. It was a whole different story in the next few hours after we arrived and was checked in. I didnt appreciate Desk Clerk nor Manager calling my Aunt and myself liers. Then another Clerk another let my Aunt know that it didnt make any difference, that she had already charged her Card for another day because we were in the room awaiting the Manager whom was not to arrive in until 3:00pm, we waited till 2:00pm and decided to go on and catch some of the festivites that we came in for, which was my Aunts Birthday Brunch, she was turning 80 that day. Even though we were suppose to be at Brunch at 12:00, we missed part of it. When I called back to the Hotel to speak with the Manager they had already locked us out of our rooms even though we were told that the extra day had already been charged on the card. It is a long story, so I will be contacting the Hotel Association Board to express my feeling and views with them. I think that we were done wrong and I woiuld like for the Managers and desk clerk to give my Aunt a former apology and her money back for the extra day. Had we would have been Mehr
