die anbindung mit den öffentlichen verkehrsmitteln zur innenstadt ist super. das frühstück sehr dürftig, aber daß es 24/7 kaffe und tee umsonst gibt, haben wir oft gern genutzt. der preis schlägt alles! dashotel hat seine besten zeiten schon hinter sich. aber für den preis ist es top.

Es ist wirklich so schön, wie sie beschreiben. Die grosszügige und einladende Lobby in der ersten Etage diente u.a. dem Weinempfang aller an diesem Tag anreisenden Gäste. Allerdings scheint die Zeit auf 17 bis 18 Uhr begrenzt zu sein. Eher als Ausnahme bekam ich später noch einen Gutschein für die Bar, die nicht ganz so nett ist, wie die Lobby. Beim Frühstück im benachbarten Bistro muss man wissen, was man wählt, um nicht vom Amerikanischen Geschmack überrascht zu werden.

Zu unserer Ueberraschung war alles viel kleiner, als es in den Bildern erscheint. Der Fotograf hat einen super Job gemacht. Dennoch ist das Hotel eine sehr gute Wahl. Allerdings hatten wir eine Suite. Wir haben das Zimmer-Service-Fruehstueck nie genutzt, da es genug guenstige und gute Alternativen in der unmittelbaren Umgebung gibt.

"Super zentrale Lage"
Das Inn of Chicago liegt super zentral, um die Stadt zu Fuß zu erleben. Dabei bietet es ein sehr gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Der Hotel-Standard ist relativ veraltet, aber die Hotelzimmer sind geräumig und sauber. Eine sehr gute Möglichkeit preisgünstig zentral zu wohnen.

"Gute Lage - ordentliche Preis-Leistung"
Liegt direkt an der Michigan Ave im Zentrum der Stadt - viele Sehenswürdigkeiten sind zu Fuß zu erreichen. Zimmer sind nicht billig für die Größe, aber bezogen auf die Lage ein gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Gemütliches Bett! Freies Internet in der Lobby - im Zimmer muss bezahlt werden. Freundliches Personal.
"Superlage in der Nähe des u.a. Hancock Towers."
Wunderbar fanden wir die LAVAZZA-Bar welche bequem durch eine Verbindungstür in der Lobby erreicht werden kann. Endlich ein guter Espresso und zum Frühstück feine Croissants!

"Top Hotel an super zentraler Lage !"
Das HOtel ist perfekt für ein Städtetrip. Ideal gelegen um zu Fuss Chicago zu entdecken. Nahe Michigan Lake um schwimmen zu gehen und nahe aller Verkehrsverbindungen.

"Trip für Shoppingsüchtige"
Das Hotel ist an der Magnificent Mile gelegen. Ein Shoppingparadies für jedermann. Die Subway Station Grand ist in 5-7 Gehminuten erreichbar und so ist man stehts Flexibel. Das Hotelpersonal war sehr zuvorkommend und ist auf indivuelle Wünsche eingegangen. Lediglich das bezogene Doppelzimmer war etwas staubig und dreckig unter dem Bett. Das Fenster […] konnte nicht geöffnet werden und die Luft staute sich im Zimmer. Angesicht der Preis/Leistung war es ein super Angebot. The location could not be better, esp.considering the price. Very friendly and helpful staff at the frontdesk. Rooms are definitely not big (and the bathroom as well), but clean and the beds are very comfortable. Great Lavazza cafe next to the lobby, opened on 6AM for breakfast on weekdays. "Small, but perfect!"
My husband and I stayed here for one night on our way from MN to OH. The location was PERFECT! many shops and restaurants close by and the hotel staff knew many places to recommend and were very willing to help! The rooms are pretty small (we had a traditional queen) but comfortable beds and a nice size shower made it perfect for a quick night in the […] city.. and who goes to Chicago to sit in a hotel room anyways?! "Right in the heart of it all"
This is in no way a fancy hotel; however, it is clean, comfortable with very helpful staff. My bf and I stayed for 6 nights and we loved the location - right in the midst of Mag Mile and walking distance to all the touristy destinations. I wish we had a microwave/mini fridge in the room but, other than that, it was a very comfortable stay. Do not let the photos in their website foul you. Their rooms are small with a tiny window and very very old furniture. We got a broken chair that we can't even sit on in our room. We didn't sleep well. We can hear traffic at night and the bed and pillows were uncomfortable. Their staffs were not helpful at all also with no service mind. I loved the hotel, everything was great minus the workers. We needed an early check in and they were not helpful at all. And when I asked about check in maybe two times they were extremely rude and seemed annoyed that I asked the question twice. I had to be switched to another room twice because the beds were worn out and non-supportive. The curtain rod broke from the window when I opened the drapes. The room needed vacuuming. Bathrooms was very tiny. No place to conveniently store sundries except for a small glass shelf above the toilet. Staff was very friendly and accomodating.

"Reasonably priced decent hotel in a great location"
This hotel is nothing special but it offers reasonably priced accommodation in a very good location (just off the Magnificent mile, close to the the Ohio St. beach, etc.). The staff were fine. Even though we took the contemporary room it was not that contemporary but everything was in reasonable order. The only problem I had with the hotel was the bed. "Nicer than expected but locked us out of our room!"
We didn't expect the hotel to be as nice as it was for the price but it really was in a fabulous location and the rooms were very comfortable. However, 3 things stood out that we found to be very poor service. 1. Parking was a whopping $48 a night for vallet. It was $38 if you didn't have vallet and did self park but it meant everytime you took the […] car out you would have to pay the $38 again which is ridiculous in a hotel (why would you even have a car then?). There was no deal or discount they could offer us for our 5 night stay so we had to pay $240 just to have a car there. Internet was also frustrating as it wasnt free in the rooms, only in the lobby. 2. The water in the shower was not hot. It was Luke warm and we had goosebumps in the shower. We asked them to check the water service and they did twice with no resolution. The only way we were able to have a shower was if we turned on the heater in our room prior to having the shower or if one of us held the in house hair dryer on the other person having a shower. Please also note we travelled there in spring so it's not exactly winter conditions, the water was just no where near hot enough. 3. The most important aspect of our rating We arrived home on our second night in a rush to get to a baseball game. Our room key did not work. We went to the lobby and they gave us new keys stating the electromagnetics in our phones may have altered both of our room keys. We went back up and could not get in. We went downstairs again and up to our room a second time. The keys did not work. The elevator very slow so we called from the floor phone. We waited for the security gaurd to come up to help us. He then told us we needed to go down to the lobby to fix up a payment. They had locked us out of our room. We used a visa travel card from Australia which has worked everywhere. We pre paid for our parking with this card. They told us that it had not worked & that we needed to use another credit card. I was furious that Mehr

As the title indicates my experience at the Inn of Chicago was overall really great. The only, only complaint I have would be the lack of free wifi (for which I would complain about many hotels and chains). The bathroom did have a whiney/noisy vent system, which was bothersome, but closing the bathroom door at night solved that. "Central Chicago Location"
Friendly & accomodating staff, adequate facilities. Need to restore no charge wireless in the rooms. Changed their policy April 1st on everybody. Have wireless in the lobby. Just 1 block off Michigan Ave, excellent coffee shop off a nice lobby. Restaurants, shopping, Northwestern Hospital and public transportation very close.

I loved the location, right in the heart of downtown on the Magnificent Mile. BUT. I could hear everything my neighbors were saying, even with normal conversation! I could also hear people walking and talking in the hallway. You do not want to stay at this hotel if you are expecting sleep. The location of the Inn of Chicago is fabulous. The hotel rooms are a little small but very clean. The rooftop terrace provides a lovely view of the city as well. I do wish there were vending machines in the hallway. Also, the bar was only open the first night we were there. It was closed all weekend so that was a little disappointing.
