Howard Johnson Inn Fullerton Hotel And Conference Center - Fullerton

This is our 3rd stay at this hotel and we would stay again. The free breakfast is very helpful when traveling. It may not include all the options that a regular breakfast restaurant provides, but it's convenient, quick, and already paid for. The rooms are clean and spacious. For the price it's a great deal.

Good art decor but unfortunatelly they do not care about be clean.....need some renovations

Twenty minutes away from Disneyland, free shuttle (4 trips in the morning, 5 in the evening). In case of missing it, bus # 43 is an option. Quite far from LA and Universal Studios. In the surroundings, some shopping places (Walmart, Best Buy, Sports Authorithy, Marshall's); a 40 lane bowling center, a pub, and a bunch of fast food options (El Pollo […] Loco, Panda Express, ColdStone Creamery, Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf). Our beds were very old and floppy. I opened the sliding closet and saw white dust so looked up and then enjoyed a heavier misting of a popcorn ceiling in both my eyes. Thirty minutes later after rinsing, I found hair in our bathroom in many locations. I was so tired, I didn't care, but woke up to breakfast with very pleasant staff, excellent food and […] left with a full belly. If you have kids and are on a budget, this is the place for you. Mehr

The hotel was quite dated and needed renovation. Not sure if I would rate it a 3 star (2 1/2 star at most). The room had comfortable beds and did have wifi. However, the carpet was really dirty with stains and they didnt have any bath towels ready when we checked in late. Hotels.com, If this is a three star hotel I would hate to see what a two star looks like. This place is a dump- uncomfortable bed, dirty furniture, 90's decor... I could go on. This was a very disappointing experience. Spend the extra $40 and get a room at the Hyatt.

The hotel was okay after reading other reviews and what other people thought of it, it was not so bad. The carpet was stained and the A/C had a odd smell coming from it. The T.V. was going out as in the picture was not as clear as I would have liked but we were at Disneyland and California Adventure all day so it was not that bad. The location was great, […] the lobby was beautiful, the free breakfast was great my family enjoyed it, shuttle service was right on schedule, and the gift shop stocked gallons of water which made it great to refill water bottles to take into the parks. The price of the hotel is good for room provided. Some of the common areas (hallways) could stand better cleaning. The free breakfast is very good with hot scrambled eggs, pancakes, sausage, rice or noodles, fried potatoes, and juice. Very close proximity to Disney Land and good mall shopping. Also convienent to train transportation.

Please improve breakfast food. Compared to best western it is very bad.

The only problem was the crowd of partying kids down the hall, and the grafitti they left behind, otherwise everything was perfect. Seamless check in, very clean.

I had a hard time reviewing this hotel because I don't know if I just had a bad experience or if it is always like that. The People staying there were extremely rude and the breakfast was a horrible experience I thought someone was going to start a fight. The hotel was sooo extremely gaudy it was uncomfortable, but that may just be my taste. The free […] disney shuttle was a nice bonus part of the reason I booked this hotel but it was only available on the hour till 11 and didn't run between 11am and 5pm. It was also a run down smelly bus. So overall the hotel was OK for what i needed but hopefully if I was to stay here again I would have a better experience. Mehr

The hotel was great. Room was big with the king size bed. Free breakfast everyday of ur stay. Little gift shop on site. Only downside was the only vending machine for drinks did not work there is a shell gas station right next to it so that helped. The free shuttle was good they go back and forth every hour.

The hotel is decorated very nice. The equipment is a little out date and it would have been nice to have a small fridgein the room but overall not bad. The complimentary breakfast could be improved, but the nice staff override the negative.

For a 3 star hotel, i would expect a lot more than what we got. Here's a breakdown: Cons: -Hotel room is quite outdated -Room smelled like cigarette smoke -Some of the gates that required key card access were not working properly Pros: +Free parking +Close to downtown bars and restaurants +Sheets very clean +Comfy bed and pillows

Small room also too much noise and the clerk at the front desk was no helpful at all would no recommend this hotel to a friend.

The room was OK. It's an old hotel. Needs renovation. It was a non-smoking room but there was some light odor. Sheets were good. The tub did not drain water well. We got a room closer to the highway and it was little bit noisy.

Room was very dirty. Transfered to another room, much clener than first room but was still dirty. Breakfeast was a joke cheaper to go to IHOP, if you have to pay for any.

This is an older hotel, but well kept. The rooms were very comfortable & clean. They served a complimentary hot breakfast buffet. Many local services & shopping were nearby.

Nice Area with access to surrounding attractions.

Everything was absolutely perfect, until check-out when we were making sure we didn't leave anything...and found socks and underwear from the previous guest in the second drawer. Definitely not ours...

Excellent price, very courteous & friendly staff, complimentary breakfast, convenient location to shops, restaurants, comvention center, Disney, etc. Very enjoyable stay! Will definitely be back!

Our room was filthy, black dirt in the beds and the sheets were stained. The hotel smelled like smoke and drunks all over the place. Beer bottles in the parking lot...we were afraid to leave our car. All of the ice machines were out of order. Just a dump! Too bad because the location is great.

Everything was quite convenient at the hotel. It would have been nice if the shuttle to Disneyland dropped us off and picked us up closer to the Disneyland gate. We expected to have a full portion of meat in the hot breakfast. All the pieces of sausage were picked out by the time we got to the scrambled eggs. It would have been nice to have the butter […] closer to the toaster and pancakes. It was hard to spread butter on cold toast and pancakes. The cimforter on the bed was very heavy to turn over in bed. Mehr

The howard Johnson inn at fullerton was a very clean and comfortable hotel and great for the very reasonable price we paid . It had plenty of shop and restaurant nearby and was close to Disney . The only let down was the free breakfast. A better selection would of been good. We ate out after 3 attempts . But all in all a good hotel!

stayed only one night but i would stay here again in the future. the only thing there is no fridge in the rooms

While the location of this hotel is great, everthing else is one star in ratings. My room was dirty. It was obvious that the sheets were not changed upon departure of the previous guest(s). I pulled back the sheets and realized the bed was simply made up with used sheets. The in-room phones (2) did not work and several calls with my cell phone went […] unanswered. I went to the lobby to request the that the sheets be changed. They obliged my request immediately. The receptionist was very nice and friendly but obviously overwhelmed. Recognizing the number of rooms, there should be at least 2 receptionists at all times. The in-room phone should at least function properly. There is no need for 2 phones that do not work in a room. One phone that works is enough. Oh, I stayed in the upgraded section (tower, 7th floor) and would hate to imagine how bad the regular rooms are. I will not return but hope the management team can salvage this hotel. Mehr

The location was great for us because it was in between Disneyland and Downtown Fullerton, but the room was dirty!! There were stains on the bed and stains on the shower curtain. We got a double bed room when I asked for a King, and our key rarely worked. We had to go down to the lobby everyday to get new keys because our keys would show a red light […] instead of a green light to open the door EVERYDAY! Mehr

Floors are stained, rooms stink. Building is old . Definitely not a 3 star hotel. Would not go back

Stayed for two nights, overal satisfied. Free shuttle service to Disneyland is useful. Hotel staff were very helpful.

Hot Buffet Breakfast in the morning. 10 minute Shuttle round trip to Disneyland. Close to Downtown Fullerton which is a really cute town! We had a king size bed with a rollaway for our son. It was plenty of room for all of us!

You really cannot trust what you see on a website. We thought we were booking a nice room with 2 double beds. Bare walls, bad lighting and a queen and a full bed were not what we signed up for. Very disappointing. We only stayed one night out of necessity and Hotels.com was excellent in getting our refund to us quickly.
