Easy to find, friendly staff, EXCEPTIONALLY CLEAN. It was hard to adjust the room temperature. :( Toothpaste available for no extra fee. :) The coffee was EXCELLENT. I mean that! The eggs were a bit dry, but if you're cooking, I am eating!

Looking at the last minute for a hotel - got a great deal that included a decent breakfast. Overall, clean, relatively quiet. Staff was extremely friendly in not only executing the basic tasks you'd expect, but went above and beyond (Manager coming around during and after breakfast to chat with guests and offered to share a look at some of the model […] rooms for their upcoming/ongoing renovation). It was clean. To be picky, the worst things I could say about it was their was the slightest mildew smell off the shower curtain, but it wasn't dirty/spotted/visibly out of order. And, the location is sandwhiched between the off-ramp and the highway, but with the windows closed and ventilation system running didn't notice any noise at all. Nice workout room, nice pool and center court area with barbecue grills, but didn't have the weather or the time to take advantage. Would definitely recommend this for people passing through from the airport/west side of town, and only about 10-15 mins outside of downtown (without traffic - but know that this could easily be 30-45+ mins during rush hour). Lots of restaurants and shopping mall / plaza in a few minute radius. good travels. Mehr

The staff at this hotel was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant and shopping choices in the area are outstanding. I would recommend this hotel for any business trips in the Robinson area of Pittsburgh.

The location of hotel is great. It is near Robinson Mall and has easy access to parkway to Pittsburgh. Breakfast service and hotel staff are great. Room heating system is not so great, either no heat or too hot. Otherwise, a very nice hotel.

Hotel was clean, but I feel was a bit pricey for the location and dated-ness of the hotel. Front desk staff was friendly, breakfast was good as well. Don't think we will stay here again, it wasn't bad, just not for us.

Always stay here with self and family when traveling if flying out of Pittsburgh. The van service is great and the main reason we stay.

We were in from Ohio for the Steelers game. Convenient location...not far from stadium but yet far enough to avoid too much traffic. Friendly staff, clean room, nice hot tub. Great breakfast. Would definetly stay at again.

Comfortable room. Uneven help from staff. Convenient to highway but located in the middle of a bland commercial strip.

Hotel us very accomedating for my handicapped friend and they have the best continental bleakest I ever had.

I enjoyed this hotel. The room was nice. The Jacuzzi tub in my room worked great. The breakfast was good. My only complaint is that the front desk required me to talk to the manager to get a zero balance statement at the end of my stay. What is up with that? Why can't you give me a zero balance statement if you insist on taking my credit card for incidentals […] when I check in? That little exchange when I was checking out darkened an otherwise nice stay. Mehr

The service from the employees of this Holiday Inn Express was wonderful. The room was old, drab and not as nice as the usual Holiday Inn Express hotels we have stayed. The internet in the room kept disconneting and the room was in serious need of a remodel. It was about 15 minutes from the airport and close to the highway. Not bad for a one night  […] stay. Mehr

The room was clean, but very musty when we got in. Running the air conditioning helped but not completely. The internet was very slow. Out of the HI Expresses I've stayed in, this room was probably the worst.

We came for a pirates & reds game & tried to check in around 1 30 & our room wasn't ready so we went on to thed game & came back around 9 30 & to our surprise got upgraded to a 2 queen bed suite. We still had time for the hottub & pool after check in. They had a wonderful breakfast & was very modern. Great hotel:)))

very nice from the time I checked in to when I checked out. nothing wrong with the hotel. loved it and would return in the future!

While the staff put me in another room the service during the check in and out was not focused on the customer. Yes I understand a lot of things are going on yet it appeared disorganized and unstrucked in the check-in and out. When asked for my address I handed them my business card. This seemed to change them to nicer, faster, and bend over backwards […] but by this point its a little to late. Over all the room they changed me to was nicer, breakfast was fast and clean, and was quick access to other areas. Mehr

friendly staff, nice pool and hot tub, good breakfast, nice a.c. room.

If i had only one word to describe this hotel it would be Great. I stayed here before i went on a trip and requested the same room when i returned and they were happy to accomadate me. The people were very friendly and we were well received when we arrived. I would stay here many times over if i had to find a room .

Stayed after a concert at Heinz Field. The location was great, staff was very courteous and helpful. The room was very clean and spacious, the bed was comfortable and breakfast was delicious. Very happy with my stay and will definitely stay again!

We only stayed 1 night so far but people there were very friendly and when you reported something they took care of it right away.

Location was really great, stayed here for a Pirates game. Just a very short ride into town. There is a lot of restaurants within mins of this place too. Bad points are that the showers did not stay hot, switched cold to hot I'm guessing as other guests were using water also and bathroom floors were sticky. Staff was nice enough. but the location/price […] would be why I'd stay here again. Mehr

At only 8 miles or so from Pittsburgh, it took 20 minutes to get to the Carnegie Center and Heinz field late Saturday morning. I believe it was a Damon's right beside the hotel, so there were food and drinks in short walking distance. We didn't spend much time at the hotel, but the outside pool looked clean and like it was a good place to relax. The […] jacuzzi room was clean, and the one we got had a sliding door to get out to the pool area. The free parking made it worth the extra drive to get into the city over some of the downtown hotels. There are other restaurants and stores within a couple miles of the hotel too. We'll definitely stay there on our next trip to P-burgh. Mehr

Easy to get to I79 into Pgh or Airport. Close to many great restaurants and Robinson Mall. Breakfast area is comfy and staff keep plenty of food out.

The Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Pittsburgh Airport is great. The staff is very nice, rooms are clean & comfortable. Shuttle bus is an excellent resource and service if going to the near business centers or restaurants. Excellent location if driving, but I don't recommend the hotel if public transportation is the resource to downtown. Public buses […] run every 30 mins, not on time, and bus stop is far. Hotel shuttle bus must be taken to go to the bus stop (Shuttle drivers do the best to help out) and the entire situation requires 90 minutes to and from downtown. Everything was great!

The hotel staff provided excellent service. I had a hotel reservation at another hotel for my second night stay. However, I inquired about staying at the HI for the 2nd night and the front desk was superb at getting me in a 2nd night so i didn't have to move. Very friendly and accomodating, clean, breakfast was good, room was good - big tv, comfy bed […] and clean bathroom. Mehr

The breakfast is in a comfortable room and is well stocked. Tables are always cleaned up. Convenient, comfortable area with 2 computers.

Overall our experience was good. On the positive: the spa was roomy and enclosed in it's own room with large windows to look out; the breakfast choices were decent and the dining area pleasant; the hotel was located to major roads; there were a lot of families staying at the hotel, which provided kids for our daughter to play with. On the negative: […] the pool water looked like it could use some filtering; the furniture in the room was a tad uncomfortable, especially the seat which we sank right into; both key cards lost their magnetic programming so we were unable to enter the hotel at the back side door forcing us to go out of our way to enter and rekey the cards at the lobby (not a huge deal, but a pain after an exhausting day of sight seeing). I was hoping to use the pool and the hot tub but was unable to because it wasn't open. I guess I should have inquired about it before booking, otherwise, the hotel description should inform guests that it wasn't open yet. The staff was friendly. The breakfast was decent. I liked the fact that there were some fruits offered as well as some other healthy […] options, in addition to the hot breakfast. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. I slept very well. I enjoyed the free use of the computers. That was a nice bonus. Overall, I did enjoy my stay. Mehr
