Das Hotel befindet sich in der Nähe der EXPO. Da wir ein Auto dabei hatten, war mfür mich der kostenlose Parkplatz direkt vor dem Hotel super. In anderen Hotels in BUD musste ich immer bis zu 16 EUR zahlen. Dafür ist man hier etwas abseits, jedoch in ca. 10 minuten mitten in BUD. Das Frühstücksbuffet entsprach den Erwartungen. Auswahl an Eierspeisen und Wurst war besser als im Mercure. Und das beste, hier noch alles inkl. Auf dem Dach gibt es auch noch einen WellnessBereich. Hier der Abstrich, die Sauna wurde leider erst am abend angeschaltet und der Jacuzi war leider abends um 7 immer noch auf 29 Grad. DIeser wurde zwar an diesem Tag gereinigt, doch dies hätte man auch am Vormittag machen können, so dass am Abend dieser auch zu benutzen ist! Ansonsten, tolles Hotel. Ich werde beim nächsten mal dieses wieder buchen. TIP: LH hat mir dieses Hotel schon mal angeboten, als mein Flug leider nicht zurück nach FRA starten konnte

Großes, schön eingerichtetes Hotel, zwar etwas Abseits gelegen und die Umgebung ist eine einfache Wohngegend. Dennoch reizvoll direkt gegenüber der Margareteninsel und man ist schnell bei den Sehenswürdigkeiten. Bezahlbare Parkplätze vor dem Hotel sind ein großer Pluspunkt in Budapest.

"Schönes Hotel und angenehmer Aufenthalt"Bewertet von P&R T aus "Deutschland" am 10. Apr. 2012
Lage: Das Hotel liegt in der Nähe des Hauptbahnhofs, in einer etwas ruhigeren Seitenstraße und ist relativ einfach zu finden. Die Stadt-Busse fahren fast direkt vor dem Hotel vorbei, so dass man diese wunderbar für die Fahrt in den Stadtkern nutzten kann. Die Tickets konnten wir direkt im Hotel kaufen. Hotel: Das Hotel macht schon von Außen einen sehr schönen und gepflegten Eindruck und auch der Empfangsbreich sowie die Aufzüge und Flure alles super sauber und in einem ordentlichen Zustand. Die Empfangsmitarbeiter waren sehr nett und man konnte alles auf Deutsch erledigen. Zimmer: Die Zimmer waren sauber, nur im Bad waren ein paar kleine Stellen, die noch genauer geputzt hätten werden können und die Dusche hätte von Außen eine neue Fuge benötigt. Aber die Dusche im innreren und die Amaturen waren sauber und in einem ordentlichen Zustand. Das Bett war super bequem und auch sehr schön groß! Der Ausblick aus unserem Zimmer im obersten Stockwerk war sehr schön. Das Zimmer war sehr warm, da wir die Klimaanlage nicht zum laufen gebracht haben, aber wir haben das Fenster zum Balkon geöffnet und das war dann sehr angenehm. Schwimmbad/Restaurant: Haben wir beides nicht benutzt und können dazu nichts sagen. Frühstück: Die Auswahl war umfangreich, viele frische Früchte und Müsli, verschiedene Brote, Wurst und Käse. Auch warme Speisen. Es war für jeden etwas dabei. Tiefgarage: Wir haben den Tiefgaragenplatz genutzt, weil unser Auto ziemlich neu ist. Leider ist die Abfahrt in das zweite UG ziemglich eng und steil, so dass man vorsichtig fahren bzw. sein Auto gut kennen sollte. Aber ansonsten ist die Garage sehr parktisch und sauber. Abschließend kann man sagen, ein sehr schönes Hotel, in dem wir immer wieder übernachten würden, da es uns vor allem auf die Qualität der Betten sowie die Sauberkeit der Zimmer ankommt und diese unseren doch sehr hohen Anforderungen gerecht wurden. Das K&K Hotel Opera in Budapest mit seiner eleganten, modernen Fassade liegt neben der Oper und einen Kilometer von der Donau entfernt.Das Nationalmuseum und der Heldenplatz liegen beide 1km entfernt, das Parlament 2km.Der Budapester Flughafen Ferihegy befindet sich in 25km Entfernung und ist in circa 15 Fahrminuten zu erreichen.

Budapest ist für seine Thermalbäder bekannt. Das berühmteste ist das Gellért Heil- und Schwimmbad, das über Dampfbäder, Thermal- und Kaltwasserbecken und ein kunstvolles Schwimmbecken im Jungendstil verfügt. Besucher können sich hier mit Massagen und Schönheitsbehandlungen verwöhnen lassen. Es gibt abwechselnd Männer- und Frauentage. Das Gellért-Bad befindet sich vom Hotel aus auf der anderen Donauseite, 1,5 Kilometer entfernt. Die Margareteninsel ist eine schattige Oase in der Mitte der Donau. Sie liegt zwei Kilometer vom Hotel entfernt und verfügt über eine Laufstrecke, die sich rund um die Insel erstreckt.

Das K+K Hotel Opera in Budapest liegt sehr praktisch direkt neben der Oper (Metro: Opera), fast an der Andrássy út. Es ist ein sehr angenehmes Hotel: die Bedienung ist freundlich, die Zimmer sauber und das Frühstücksbüfett sehr gut. Ein Minuspunkt ist allerdings der Klub direkt gegenüber dem Eingang des Hotels. "Perfekt gelegen"
Das Hotel K+K Opera liegt gleich – wie der Name schon sagt – neben der Oper. Das ist perfekt gelegen, um die Stadt zu erkunden. Die Zimmer in den Innenhof sind sehr ruhig. Das Frühstücksbuffet lässt keine Wünsche offen, und das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ich kann das Hotel ohne Vorbehalte weiterempfehlen.

Für Besuche der Oper und Einkauf in der Andrássy út ideal gelegen. Auch für Besichtigungen in Pest-Parlament , Synagoge ,váci utca usw-günstig.Benützung der hoteleigenen Garage mit 4.4068 HUF /24h nunmehr preislich akzeptabel. Hotelpersonal spricht Englisch und im Rezeptionsbereich auch Deutsch.
"Das Hotel ist in bester Lage und trotzdem ruhig"
Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit dem Hotel. Die Angestellten sind äusserst nett und zuvorkommend. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist hervorragend und der Service sehr aufmerksam. Unser Zimmer war etwas klein dafür aber ruhig und komfortabel. Das Hotel wurde uns von einem Arbeitskollegen empfohlen und wir werden es mit gutem Gewissen weiterempfehlen.

Room was in new condition, very clean. Not the best soundproofing, though not out of line with other hotels in the price range. Room layout a bit crowded by the front door, especially an unnecessary bathroom door. Everything was perfect! For European standards, the bathroom was huge! The room was just the right size and the hotel is close to the best reataurants in town. We really enjoyed our stay at the K&K in Budapest. The location was amazing. It is very central, close to the metro and major sites are within easy walking distance. The room didn't have a view, but it was very quiet and the neighborhood is very safe. The staff was friendly and extremely helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Third time in a K&K chain hotel; like McDonald's, you know what you are going to get. Rooms are same decor, but always clean. Like the other K&K hotels, this one is great location; close to subway and walking distance to all the great places. Great buffet breakfast and free Internet in the room is always a plus. no problems the only fault i found was that the lady at the reception wasvery reluctant to secure my laptop for me would not fit into room safe she said they had no room which was contrary to what was on hotel brochure, the following day the gentleman took it from me no problem , otherwise hotel was grand

"KK Opera Hotel, Budapest"
Stayed here in August 2011, following a week of singing in Budapest Seminarium Centrale. Although the KK Opera hotel is literally only a few metres from the city opera house and one of the main downtown thoroughfares, it is quiet, cool and secluded, offering a perfect base from which to explore the many beautiful sights and sounds of this jewel on the […] Danube. The hotel staff were all kind and efficient, gave clear and helpful advice, and attended promptly to all our requests. Meals in the hotel were excellent (though there are also some great restaurants nearby), many tourist sights are within a short walk -- and there is a Metro station within about 100m of the hotel providing easy links with the city's excellent single-ticket transport network. Great location near Opera House. We took the hop on hop bus to see the sites. The hotel is clean but could use an update. The staff was not overly helpful - they were unable to make recommendations for restaurants etc...

"K&K offers perfect location for Budapest tourists"
The best part about the K&K Hotel Opera is its location: just off Andrassy Ut next to the opera house. It puts you within walking distance of the Danube and most sights in Pest, directly on public transportation and the tourist bus routes, and in a great neighborhood for dining and entertainment in the evening. Like other K&K's, the hotel is appealing […] decorated in a modern style and the staff are efficient and helpful. First time to Budapest and we fell in love with the city. The location of the hotel was excellent; right in the middle of everything. The opera was a half block away. Also the Metro was as close. The staff was very helpful in several instances. A great place to stay; air conditioning also was a plus.

"Great Location"
Location was just a block off the M1 (yellow line) so easy access toall of Budapest. Althogh no wifi, there were computers downstairs to use free of charge. Room was good size and comfortable. Didn't eat the breakfast (16 euro per person!!) Would also not recommend having a late night drink at the bar since its about double the cost of any other drinks […] in Budapest! What a wonderful hotel - staff were very helpful and attentive. Rooms were extremely comfortable. Within walking distance to St. Stephens which is a must see I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to this city

"Perfect location, excellent service"
We were extremely impressed we this hotel. We arrived well before check-in time and they immediately accommodated us in our room for no extra charge. The hotel door is literally a 60 second walk from the subway entrance (Opera Station). It is immediately next to the Budapest Opera House. In essence, it is centrally located, a walking distance to many […] sights. The neighborhood is very clean and safe. The hotel staff was excellent, the rooms is good condition, and the breakfast was excellent. I have zero regrets about my stay and certainly plan to stay there again when I return to Budapest. Mehr
"Still the favourite, but beware station taxis"
Having stayed at this hotel previously, I can report that the excellent level of service has not diminished. The K+K Opera is still my favourite for business trips to Budapest, notwithstanding difficulties encountered with journeys to and from the hotel at peak periods. Its location on a narrow one-way street can - and does - suffer from the Hungarian […] habit of temporary parking in the middle of the road. However, on this occasion I suffered a different type of traffic problem, that of a dishonest taxi driver. On exit from Keleti railway station, I chose a taxi (with sign) who stopped for me at the front entrance. Only when we had set off did I notice that there is an official taxi rank further round at the back of the station. Upon arrival at the hotel, I gave the driver what I thought was a 5000 Forint note. He immediately informed me that this was not correct, handing me back a 500 Forint note. I apologised and gave him a further 5000 note. Only when I checked my wallet in the hotel did I realise that I had been duped by the driver's sleight-of-hand into giving him two separate 5000 Forint notes. OK, I was down around 20 Euro, but the most upsetting thing for me is that I got caught by this after twenty years experience of travel in the area. The moral is, no matter how you arrive in Budapest, make sure you use official taxis at the permanent ranks. Mehr

The K & K Hotel Opera was a gem for its price. The room was spacious, modern and very comfortable. It was also amazingly quiet, considering the busy locale. The location next to the opera is just a short walk to a subway line and right on one Rick Steve's walking tours of Budapest. There were also plenty of restaurants nearby, including one next door. "Stylish Boutique hotel in a good location"
This hotel is modern, clean and very stylish. The layout is a bit odd - you need to use different lifts in different parts of the building depending on which room you are in - but it's not too confusing once you get your bearings. Rooms are comfortable if small, with wired internet access which worked faultlessly during my stay. Bed is comfortable […] and the shower had good water pressure - a must in my opinion. This hotel probably had the best stocked minibar I have EVER seen! :) Service at breakfast and in the bar was exceptional. The buffet breakfast had a good selection and the waiting staff were always on hand to top up my coffee. In the bar the waiting staff again were on the ball but not intrusive. Food in the hotel was ok, but nothing special and prices were reasonable. The hotel is well located - close to Andrassy Ut if you're into designer shopping - but in a quiet side street so you can get to sleep without worrying about noise outside. The chain bridge is about 10-15 minutes walk away. Would I stay here again? Yes. Mehr

We stayed in this Hotel 2 years ago and found it just as good now as then. Clean,Tidy, Good choice of food for breakfast and the reception staff could not have done anymore for us. This hotel lived up completely to a 4 star rating. It was new, completely clean, and exuded upper end European quality. The reception staff and concierge were extrememly professional. The support staff appeared to be talking about us in Hungarian with a little disdain. This made us feel uncomfortable and degraded. "Great hotel."
We selected K&K Budapest because we had stayed at a K&K in Prague 2 years ago and were very happy. Hotel was great. Staff helpful and courteous; recomemended several nice restaurants. Location was very convenient and safe. Rooms very clean. Buffet breakfast was hearty and enjoyable.

The K&K is an excellent place to stay - comfortable, modern and wonderful staff. Has a great sauna and the breakfast buffet has a great variety. I would definitely recommend this to anyone.
