Baymont Inn & Suites Chattanooga - Chattanooga

There is a Walmart Supercenter right behinde the hotel that's great, because there is not much to do in this neighborhood. But it is good situatet for a trip to the look out mountain. I would stay here again and again and again!

Our rooms were filthy. The grounds were messy. We had excrement on the walls. The bathroom smelled like urine. There was hair all over the bed.

This hotel was very dirty. My flip flops stuck to the floor in the elevator,lobby and breakfast area. The indoor pool was disgusting. The pool area and pool itself.,Drawer was broken on dresser in room.( completely hanging on vu a nail) Huge hole in leather chair in the room. I brought this the the attention of front desk clerks and all I received was […] an " I'm sorry". Both day and afternoon clerks were very rude. Location was convenient but I would have rather travel a few more miles for a better room. Mehr

Convenient located to Walmart, when you are with kids. Pool where too noice. Averege Breakfast.

The hotel was good overall but the pool was very poorly maintained(dirty water, ripped up bottom)and the hot tub was not hot and the jets didn't work.

cleanliness stardards at the lobby and room is low.

This hotel is ok nothing special. A little over priced. Negatives were the lock on the inside of the room was broken off. Our 2 year old was able to walk out of our room at any time . When I asked them to change rooms or what I could do they told me to put a chair in front of the door :(. The pool was not kept as clean as I would expect. On the plus […] Sides the breakfast was adequate for our family in the morning. The 5 min drive to down town and 5 min drive to ruby falls made it convinent. The hotel was just a few miles from the sights in downtown Chattanooga. The indoor heated pool was not heated. They had turned off the heater since it had been 70 degrees outside. The pool was COLD. The woman at the front desk was very friendly but had no idea how to turn it on.

Excelent hotel. Desk attendant was sharp and quick witted. Had a wonderful stay.

This was a very nice hotel stay. It was close to downtown about a 10 min drive. Had very nice restraunts within walking distance. Also a Walmart right next door for the mad dash on things you forgot. I recommend bring your own pillows if you have a neck problem. I had a hard time not being able to ajust to them. Ive got a bad neck and it was very stiff […] and sore every morning. Pool was extremly warm about 81 degrees, Touch to warm for me, but I enjoyed my swim. Mehr

After riding 12 hours in the car on our first day's travel to Florida, we spent the night at the Baymont Inns & Suites in Chattanooga, TN. We were exhausted and just wanted to fall into bed to get some rest to continue on our journey the next morning. When we got to our room, we took a shower, and jumped into the most comfortable bed we had ever slept […] in. The hotel was very quiet and we didn't hear a sound all night long. The next morning, we were refreshed and ready to complete the final leg of our trip, after enjoying a nice complimentary breakfast. We travel to Florida every winter and will make sure we will have reservations to stay at this wonderful hotel! Mehr

gald a made a reservation, hotel was fully booked and there was no parking, but the lady let us park right out front, the breakfast is great, rooms VERY nice, pool open all year, plus located right by shopping enter with a 24 hour Walmart

Lady at desk at check in was angry because her relief was late......Indian woman in breakfast room had a bad attitude. She was not friendly AT ALL. Felt like she was doing us a favor. Excellent location. Food is just around the corner, along with shopping (Wal Mart). Just a short three mile drive into downtown. Friendly staff and clean rooms. If you pefer a soft pillow, then you may want to bring your own. I would stay there again for sure.

Bathroom needs a good scrubbing. Overall the stay was fine.

Clean comfortable rooms, friendly staff I will definitely stay here again.

This is one of the most pleasant stays I have had in a while. Actually stayed there in November and December of '11. One of the most prompt courteous staffs ever. It is a GREAT VALUE for the money. Actually it is a great place to stay regardless of price.

all websites clearly state this hotel accepts small pets for a $10 charge per night. no website had a place to denote pet. so i called the hotel immediately after reserving room to let them know we would have a pet. the young lady who answered the phone sunday morning verified pets were accepted and the $10 charge. she also answered my question by stating […] we did not need to do anything additional at the time of reservation as everything would be handling when we checked in. when we arrived late news year eve we were told they were out of designated pet rooms so the charge would be $25 for the dog instead of the clearly stated $10. when i told her about calling the hotel when i made reservations she curtly responded that no hotel employee would ever state nothing needed to be done until check in. the extra $15 charge is a rip off. avoid this hotel if traveling with pets. made reservation on-line months in advance had conf number. When we checked in it was VERY busy and clerk seemed flustered but nice. We travel with little dog and she said we were lucky to get last room in the hotel and wouldn't if we didn't have a pet??? What's the point of a confirmation and paying up front if you don't actually have a room reserved??? […] Didn't understand that one. Mehr

They could have score a 5. But because of the bug that i found on the first night (EWWWWHH!) a 4 will do it. Other than that, it was convinient, confortable and close to the intersatate and restaurants.

The hotel was alright. Alittle overpriced for the quality. Rooms and hotel were old and had a musty smell. Breakfast was a joke. At checkout, the front desk lady was busy on a personal phone call while I was waiting.

A good, clean hotel on our way into Atlanta. The night clerk was very kind and took very good care of us. Breakfast was pretty good and the staff was very nice.

The nighttime front desk attendant could not be friendlier and more helpful despite juggling multiple guests arriving at the same time. The morning front desk staff is borderline rude with an edge of irritation both times we interacted with her. Otherwise the location was great and the price was reasonable for the quality of the stay.

The staff members at the hotel desk were a terrible combo of incompetency and laziness. I heard the one lady berate guest after guest. These guys were confused on how to even work with Hotels.com. They refused to do anything about a non-working refrigerator in the room, and were altogether unacceptable. The hotel itself is nice, although we did find […] some trash in the room, and damage to beds, lamps, etc. If the staff were different, we would stay again, but as is, it is not worth it. The staff also tried to run my credit card for the cost of the room without authorization after they were too incompetent to figure out how to communicate with Hotels.com, whom we had booked through. Luckily, they were unable to figure out how to run the credit card. The ladies at the front desk said, after not being able to figure out their own computers, "This is your problem, but we gotta get paid. Go look up the number and call Hotels.com and get it fixed." When checking in the desk clerk couldn't get any key to work in the room locks which was barely resolved by the time we left. We had only 1 key that worked after you put it into the lock and counted to 5 slowly. Upon entering our room there was a leather chair with a large rip in the leather. The furniture had broken drawers. The toilet had urine stains […] running down the front and the back looked as if it hadn't been mopped in months. The TV remote was taped together. And there was cola splattered on the wall and door that hadn't been cleaned. The towels were thin and dingy. The breakfast bar had 2 crock pots, one with scrambled eggs swimming in water, the other with gravy that tasted like it was a week old. The breads and pastries tasted old. The juice machine was broken so they were serving orange juice and apple juice from previously used milk jugs. We ate out after the first day. The room across the hall was missing the peep hole and had toilet paper shoved in the hole in the door. Our friends were also with us. They were in 3 rooms before they were able to stay in one. The first had a broken air conditioner, the clerk couldn't get a key to open the second one, the third wasn't much better. Their toilet also wouldn't flush. They had to pour water into it to gt it to go down. Needless to say we will never stay at a Baymont Inn again. Mehr

Good location but was disappointed that hot tub was not operational and a couple things in the room ddin't work correctly.

Very nice hotel. Friendly staff. Clean. Close to attractions.

I was going to be visiting Chattenooga for a couple of days and wanted a nice place to stay within my price range. Hotel was very nice with two exceptions. First the bed was very confortable except for the pillows, they felt like bricks. Second as I was checking out I noticed a roach in the bathroom. Fortunately my wife did not see it.

Did not receive a good greeting when checking in at night. Seems the day service was better, but not great. Room was decent, but could use some TLC. Great location and hotel was good for my business trip. Good breakfast.

Had to change rooms because there was feces on the bathroom floor in our first room. Bugs on our luggage in the AM. At checkout, hotel employee could not be bothered to get off the cell phone to check us out. Given the lack of cleanliness in our room, we didn't have the stomach to stick around for the free breakfast. Very comfortable. The beds are great, very clean rooms and friendly staff.

The beds were very comfortable, staff was friendly. Hotel was a little old, and could tell that cosmetic things were being done to keep looking modern. Elevator was small/slow. Hot tub jets did not work, nice pool though. Breakfast was MUCH better than most places. I really liked that it was right by Walmart.

I really enjoyed my stay. The hotel was very accommodating when my air-conditioner was making too much noise and helped me whenever I needed it. It was very close to my son and I will stay here whenever I come to Chattanooga.

An old hotel with a lot of lipstick, and even that is fading and cracking now. Room smelled. Elevator smelled. Pool water was dirty. Hot tub was hot, but jets didn't work. People at front desk were friendly enough. Breakfast was pretty good. My son had a great time. My wife thought it was not great, but acceptable. I thought it was bad, but accepta […] ble. Mehr

Awesome hotel, Friendly Staff, Awesome Location. Would love to stay here again.

Hotel was in a great location with plenty of scenery. We actually booked the hotel only minutes before with the iPhone app, very convenient. Hotel was clean, our shower wasn't up to par, seems it needed some maintenance. Overall, we would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Was upgraded to a business suite because standard king was not available. Staff was great and friendly. Was very pleased. Stayed about 6 nights

The only complaint I have is the breakfast! There were gnats on the donuts & biscuits!! When I spoke with the person at the front desk she immediately sent someone to take care of it but they just looked at the pastries and left them there!!! The room was neat & clean and the bed was comfortable! :) The hotel was in a good location. The Wal-mart shopping […] center is located right behind the hotel.
