"Water/flooding issues"
Flew into Uniontown, PA for a funeral. When getting dressed to go to funeral, shoes were soaking wet. Shower in bathroom has pipe draining issues or was backed up. Water came through the wall/floor into the closet and my leather dress shoes were soaking wet. Brought matter up to hotel management and they said they were sorry but no offer to lower room […] charge or make right. "This hotel is going downhill..."
My family stayed at this hotel a few years ago. It wasn't bad for the price. Boy, have things changed! The room smelled of smoke although it is a smoke-free hotel. The halls looked worn. The maintenance to the hotel in general just looked bad.Authentische Hotels.com-Gästebewertung

"Great hotel to stay at"
My experience was outstanding. Even with the power outage, there was no discomfort and only a minor inconvenience due to elevator not being able to be used. However, they offered to help anyone with luggage that needed it and got it fixed promptly. It was an average hotel stay. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable however, the shower uses a water saving head that drizzles instead of sprays and the wall are less than sound proof...Authentische Expedia-Gästebewertung

I would have to say that this was the most unpleasant stay at a Marriott property. Customer service is lacking and some of the staff act like they have an "I don't care" attitude. The beds are very soft and it was hard to control the temperature in the room. "Unhappy with hotel"
Usually my family & I will stay in this hotel, but the past couple of trips we have noticed the hotel starting to get worse. This trip we paid way too much because they said the hotel was completely booked. We arrived in our room and it was the same as always. We turned the air conditioning up about 5 degrees and it smelled like pee. The shower made […] this awful sound during our showers. The worst part was when we were packing up to leave we took some things to the car, came back to the room & our magnetic key lock died! "No worries about comfort and cleanliness!"
After a long day of driving and sightseeing, I was hoping to relax in a comfortable, clean, and pleasant environment....This did not disappoint me! This Fairfield Inn must ba a relatively new one because it sure looked, smelled, and felt brand new. Staff was very pleasant to work with, loved the business center (especially after being away from my computer […] for several days), towels were incredibly soft (its the little things you notice), and the bed slept wonderful! "I expected more from a Marriott"

"Great hotel for a 2 star rating"
Our stay at the Fairfield was very enjoyable and relaxing. The Beds were quite comfortable and there was ample room in the bathroom for two people to move around, which allowed us to get on with our vacation plans in the mornings much quicker. The continental breakfast offered a larger variety of food than i assumed there would be, but the room itself […] was a little small for the amount of people that were present. If i had just one negative thing to say it would be that our room was facing the main road and all the activity outside (including the cows across the street) would tend to wake us a little earlier than we would have liked.
