Things were clean, which is always my main concern. The staff was also very helpful. My main negative issue is that you have to hold down the handle on the toilet for an extended period of time to allow enough water to fill the bowl for it to flush properly.

We were so pleased with our stay at this hotel.the check-in and check- out process was so easy.the staff there were pleasant and so accommodating.my husband was blown away at the breakfast the next morning.He kept commenting how good it was.we had grandchildren with us and they loved the pool and the breakfast! We will definetly stay here again.

The room was inexpensive and clean. The pool was the perfect size for my son. The breakfast was decent and the hotel was very quiet. I would recommend this hotel for anyone who needs a night away.

We checked in and were given a non-smoking room on the 3rd floor. When we got off the elevator all we smelled was cigarette smoke. It got worse when we entered our room. In fairness, I called down and requested a different room. They told me the 3rd floor was 1/2 smoking. Well it seeped to the other half. They did give us another room on the 1st floor […] and all was well. Didn't stay for breakfast, the only hot entree was biscuits and gravy.... Mehr

It was a nice building. The rooms were nice and the bed was comfortable too.

Had a great stay. Only issue was that the after flushing the potty, it continued to run.

Overall the stay at the Belmont was fine. It was a standard hotel room and came at a reasonable price for a single king. The bed was very firm which isn't always a bad thing but it would have suited me better if the bed would have formed to my back like a temperpedic... And I wouldn't have minded having a thicker, softer comforter the one in the room […] was thin and itchy. The breakfast was great but late at night I found myself want more than what the vending machines in the lobby had to offer. This is a great place to stay if you're on a budget but if you're wanting to be pampered and you want quick access to events downtown then I would suggest you look elsewhere. Mehr

Nice place to stay, very courteous staff

The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was very quite and comfortable stay. Our room was very clean and stocked with everything. Only complaint was the toilet didnt want to flush unless you held it down and flushed it twice.

The breakfast was the highlight for us (everything else was great, too). They had 2 flavors of waffles, original and blueberry, with many toppings available, including strawberries. They also had biscuits, sausage, and eggs, along with the standard cereal, bread, muffins and bagels. The pool was open until 10pm as was the gym area. We didn't use either […] one as we arrived right at 10 pm. This hotel was a sigh a relief after driving for 10 hours. Our king suite was a very large room with desk, pull-out couch, king bed, recliner, and larger counter space for bathroom. Mehr

Nice looking room, great floor plan, very clean with no odors at all, great bed. No problems. Best value so far for the price.

We were very impressed with the hotel and staff everyone was very friendly and helpfull. The room was very clean and if you needed anything all you needed to do was ask. Very close to St Louis and all shops as well as restaurants and sports bars. We had a breakdown with our vehicle and the Chevy dealership accross the road was wonderful with helping […] get us a rental car and getting our car back to us as soon as possible. This is the worst room that both my wife and I have ever stayed at. The room was filthy including what looked like human waste on the wall as well as on the toilet. The pillow cases smelled terrible as well. We thought Baymont was a reputable name when we booked but now know different. We will never stay at another Baymont hotel.

The lady that was at the check in desk was polite, efficient, and very friendly and helpful. The lobby area, hallways, and elevator needs new carpet or have it cleaned. The room was clean but the pillows were way to soft and the mattress was way to firm. ( I prefer a firm mattress ) but this was not comfortable at all.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The front desk made connecting our two (separate) reservations very quick and easy and made sure we kept the same room. The maid service brought extra towels promptly and worked around our needs to be in and out around wedding plans. For the price of this hotel you couldn't ask for a nicer place to stay. It was very clean, the staff was friendly, and it was located close to many eating and shopping choices. You don't usually find this quality of a hotel in this price range.

Clean, comfortable hotel. Great breakfastbar with waffle makers, hot biscuits and gravy and all the cereal, bagels and yogurt you want. The only drawback is that it has two, full size beds instead of queens which I prefer. Its not the Ritz but if you want a nice hotel for the night, this is it.

Bed bugs, mouse droppings, and smoke residue filled non smoking rooms. Rude staff... DO NOT STAY HERE!

It's a decent hotel, especially for the money. The mattresses were a little firm. The breakfast was decent... bisquits and gravy, hot waffles with the option for strawberry sauce, hot coffee... it was better than expected.

My wife and I stayed here for a quick trip to St. Louis for a concert. This hotel was a great choice. The staff was super friendly and very helpful. They even pointed out the close proximity of a Metro Link station which made the 30min travel into St. Louis very easy. The place was clean, the free breakfast was pretty good, and the low price can't be […] beat. For the quality of the place I'd definitely reccomend staying here if you're looking for a cheap alternative to the high proced city hotels if you don't mind the short distance from the city. Mehr

It had a nice little pool for our girls to swim in with turtle pictures on the bottom they liked that. Right off the interstate very convient.

It was so good to finally find a pool warm enough to swim in. And my oh my that hot tub felt good. My lovely wife and I agree that those are the best waffles we ever had at a hotel. we are still fondily reminiscing over the strawberry sauce.Yum,yum. unfortunately the tasty fresh fruit all disappeared before we couldn't get any.

My husband and I were making a cross country trip and stayed for just one night. The floors were filthy and stained. The cover over the bed had urine marks and bad was not comfortable to sleep on. Positive notes: breakfast was decent and staff friendly. Very close to hwy and several surrounding places to eat.

Very Clean Hotel. Would recommend!

our stay at baymont was fine. the beds were somewhat harder/firmer than we liked. the carpet had at least two rather large stains on it. other than that no complaints. the staff was very courteous and helpful. all things considered this was a good bang for the buck. we will probably stay there in the future.

Hotel was close tour destination, however the place needs some improvements. Good: Bed was comfortable Staff was friendly and courtious Free breakfast was fine Location had good access to the town and interstate highway Bad: The carpet in our room was dirty/stained (management said the carpets are being replaced). No coffee cups for the coffee maker […] (desk sent some up). Air conditioning was not working properly (this was fixed). Refrigerator was not working (refigerator was replaced). The so-called no smoking floor (3rd floor) had the smell of cigarettes. Mehr

Great value for the price. Good location for travelers.

Hotel is badly in need of an update. If I had not already paid for the room through Hotels.com I would not have stayed there. The carpet in the room near the door and the sink was matted and nasty. Due to the condition of this property I will never stay at a Baymont again.

Wasn't the best place in town, but was a good price. There was wallpaper in hall way stapled to the wall and rooms have not been updated. Beds were old and uncomfortable! Breakfast and staff were good!

This was our second time staying at this hotel but this experience was very different from the first. We ended up switching rooms 3 hours after checking in because the shower sounded like it was about to explode. The staff was very friendly and made the room change fairly easy. The second room we stayed in was not bad but I don't think I can get over […] that shower experience, the carpet was also very dirty. There were pieces of wallpaper with tape on it in the bathroom which I didn't want my 2 year old to play with. Not sure if we will stay here again, even though the location is excellent. Mehr

It was a nice hotel for the money. The breakfast was better than I expected it to be. I will stay there again if so needed.

I had paid extra for a pillowtop mattress and it was far from it, ok place but felt mislead

Very friendly & welcoming staff. Convenient location. Reasonable rates. Clean rooms and comfortable atmosphere. Would definitely make a return visit.

i get tired of reading reviews when all people do is complain. I am a world traveller and this hotel is a good value for the money. Folks, we are not paying Ritz Carlton rates. Yes, the pool is very small and my toilet did overflow once, but I found the service people extremely accomodating and the free "continental Breakfast" is excellent. I come to […] this area often so I am looking for quality at a very affordable price, and this is it. Mehr

We have stayed at Baymont Inns many times and were pleased with them. This hotel needs lots of work. The beds were very uncomfortable! Hopefully management will make some much needed upgrades!
