Room: nice, clean and quite big, ocean view was perfect with beatifull sunsets. Staff: OK, helpfull Food: good, partly american/european but also mexican Snorkeling: average, good at Money bar i.e. 5 minutes walk to the north (swimm app. 100m from the shore) but it is still not comparable to Egypt. PROS : - Right there on one of the best snorkeling sites (no need to take a taxi every day). - Nice Tacos restaurant. - Wine is included in the all inclusive formula - Not huge choice for food buffets, but good quality food. - Staff were very kind and attentive. Good team. CONS : - HUGE noise from pool engine room every 10 minutes ALL NIGHT LONG. Woke […] us up every night. - HUGE noise from trash or food supplies trucks at 3am EVERY NIGHT on our side of the hotel. - Like all other hotels in cozumel (except luxury ones), its pools are NOT heated. In december the pool was way too cool. Did not swim once. - No jaccuzi at this hotel. - Food is real real mexican food, not chevy's style. No burritos, no quesadillas, just real mexican stews, etc. If you don't have an adventurous taste buds, don't go there. Mehr

Nice rooms, good food, and helpful staff. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you want an all inclusive. Only drawbacks--about 15 minutes to town by taxi, or less given how fast they drive. Also, I missed having a sandy beach that lets you ease into the water. Here you either jump off the pier or go in over slippery rocks.

CONS : - TERRIBLE noice in certain parts of hotel. Trash trucks worke us up EVERY morning at 330 am on our side of the hotel. Pool engine also ALL night long loud noise. - Not much diversity for food. 100% traditional mexican food (no burritos, real mexican) which is no good if that's not your thing. Only 1 specialy restaurant whereas other big all […] inclusives would have more. - Like all hotels that side of the island, does NOT have a real beach. If you looking for a paradise white sand beach, you need to go to the other end of the island. All you'll get is a rocky beach (great for snorkeling, terrible for sunbathing lazy seal kinda beach experience). - Pools are not heated (if you come in the winter you will not swim one single time). No jacuzzi. PROS : - Right on one on the best snorkeling spots (spares you having to pay taxi or renting car). - Has great diving center (not too much more expensive than other shops downtown). - Very very nice staff. - Beautiful pool. - Mehr

The drinks and newer areas of the hotel were great, the food, not so much. Good snorkeling and pool areas. The staff was friendly and helpful.

I have stayed many times in this hotel over a period of many years. It was always a great place to stay because of it's location relative to dive sites at the southern end of Cozumel. The change to all inclusive is a mixed bag. I always liked the fresh grilled grouper sandwich for lunch. Every meal is now buffet. The food quality has suffered as a result. […] It is possible to get fresh grilled chicken,burgers or dogs for lunch. But if you want fish, it is only available on the buffet line. The buffet reminded me of a bad cheap cruise. Selection was abundant but not very good as any buffet would be if it was open for an expanded period of time(lunch covered at least a 4 hour period.) Breakfast was very good with omelet station as well as precooked dishes. Service was very good and attentive. On the plus side, for the price, it is still a pretty good deal, if you just do not care about food quality. Most people last week appeared to not be concerned about overeating at every meal. Quantity was never a problem. Bottom line, just do not expect to have anything custom prepared. Mehr

What a perfect place to stay outside of the downtown area. It was really beautiful and definitely look for a deal with the breakfast included. That was the best part! Great buffet breakfast over looking the ocean every morning. It was great.. AND the breakfast would have cost $56 for the both of us each morning but we found a deal through hotels.com […] with breakfast included!! The hotel was very clean and had its own balcony. The furniture was definitely dated but for the price and location (15 min driving from downtown) we loved it. Mehr

If your planning a scuba diving adventure in Mexico, I can recommend Fiesta Americana Cozumel Dive Resort. This resort is staffed with the most genuine, friendly, attentive people on the island. The rooms were quite nice, clean and better than expected. We ate breakfast at the reef restaurant all five mornings, and ate dinner at the hotel restaurants […] 3 nights. The food was excellent and the service was even better. We arrived at the restaurant one night after a night dive at 10:30 pm and were welcomed like old friends by the manager. The restaurant closed at 11:00 pm , but not once did we notice a waiter or any other staff looking impatiently at a watch. In fact they encouraged us to order a flaming desert, which took time in the preparation and showmanship of it. We left the restaurant after midnight with a "please come back tomorrow" from the manager. I made a total of 10 dives on the local reefs with The Dive House. They were a very safe and attentive dive operation. We always had at least one dive master in the water leading the way for us. The crew loaded our gear on one of their 4 boats and hooked up our regulators and bcds for us. There was always a briefing before each dive that explained the dive site and safety precautions to adhere to. Upon surfacing from the dive the boat would come to us and the crew would remove our tanks, bcds and regulators while we held onto the transom. We would then hand up our fins and climb the ladder back on board. By the time we were back at our seat on the boat our regulators and bcds were attached to a fresh tank. The dive master is always the last one to board. This was a convenient fact for a friend whose weight pocket came loose while he was handing his gear up. The DM dove to 70 feet and recovered it while the boat waited. Once we reached the pier in front of the hotel (which is were the dive shop is by the way) the dive gear was unloaded by the crew and taken to a dunk tank where we washed our gear and stored it in a pr Mehr

The title says it all. Paid for the "All Inclusive Casita Suite", but it is not truely "All Inclusive". I can understand that premium liquors might not be included, but not including bottled water in the room???? When I asked at the front desk they said the room comes with 2 small bottles of water (which were not there) and 1.5L bottles can be purchased […] for $4.50. Only after threatning to checkout immediately did they give me 2 small bottles of water. I finally swiped a pitcher of water from one of the restaurants so we would have drinking water at night. Other negatives: 1) Extremely slow service at all the restaurants. At one point we finished our entire buffet breakfast before any servers offered coffee or water. 2) Room service not included in "All Inclusive". 3) Breakfast moved to new location each morning. 4) Having to sign for every meal eventhough we had the "All Inclusive" package. About the only plus side is that we paid the same or less than those staying in the hotel w/o the "All Inclusive". However, for an additional $20/day we could have stayed at a well known and established resort, which I will do next dive trip. I only tried this one to try something different. It will not happen again. Fiesta Americana is off my list of hotels/resorts. Mehr

My daughter and I did the all-inclusive plan. I was over all-inclusive hotels until I experienced Fiesta Americana. They have their own private beach on this great reef for snorkeling. You can rent masks from the dive shop or like we did pack your own you do not need fins in this great spot. We saw octopuses a varity of fish and eels. Like a girl visiting from Mexico city said to me "This hotel treats us like a princess" The food was incredable breakfast was a buffet or you can order off the menu. lunch was a restaurant on the beach or you could order food and cocktails from the beach boy on your lounge chair or bed on the sand. Dinner was a restaurant upstairs with great ambiance all off a menu I ordered the chief special one night and it was fresh maui maui that one of the guest caught. The wait staff knew you by name and greeted you like a good friend. I also liked that even though the food was free you were given a bill and good tip the staff for the service it was a nice touch. Our room was in the back of the hotel with a great wild gardens off our balacony. We brought our own coffee brewed it in the morning in our room. and I laid on my hammock drinking my coffee watching the butterflys iquanas and birds in the garden. Bring your own coffee and filters if you enjoy coffee like we do. They charge for the coffee packs in the room or serve free coffee at the restaurants. Also we brought h2o bottles. They charge for bottled water in the room but the bartenders will fill your bottles for you from their h2o coolers. We had such a great time we extended our stay for two more days. We only left the hotel once for shopping in town. Then we went to the Money Bar which is close to our hotel and the place to be all the locals party there along with vacationers. Went to Fiesta Americana in Cozumel for a long weekend drive trip in early June. Convenient, $10 taxi ride to town. Beach wasn't as nice as some places further away from town as far as a "sandy, long beachfront" goes (ie, Occidental), but still had nice access and great lounge chairs - even hammocks in the sand! Beachside massages, too. The people […] were fantastic - very friendly and helpful. We did not do all inclusive, but had breakfast with our casita. The food was great -- especially for an all-inclusive resort. We ate lunch/snacks several days after diving at their beachside restaurant. The food was very good quality - and convenient so we didn't have to go in town. Prices were reasonable, too (we ordered off the menu, didn't eat off the buffect for lunch). Typical prices for a sit-down lunch in the US. Overall, great experience and value. Would definitely go back again. Dive House, the onsite dive operation, was a good, safe and professional operation.. when they were there. They weren't terribly busy, so didn't have afternoon dives/staffing every day if you want that. They require at least 4 people to do these dives. Mehr

I have been to Cozumel many times over the past 15 years and this was my first stay at Fiesta Americana. The rate was fantastic, the location is a bit off the beaten path, but when you are staying on an island, the seclusion is a nice welcome. I enjoyed being away from all of the hustle and bustle. This is a very clean and pretty hotel, although it is a few years old. The location is out of town, however it is very close to the Chankanaab snorkeling and dive park. No me gusto el servicio del personal

Un hotel all inclusive con un solo restaurant que permanece cerrado varias horas durante el día. No hay restaurant de especialidades, hay que crusar la calle para llegar a la playa. No permiten late check out a pesar de que el ferri sale hasta las 4 pm y uno debe dejar la habitación a las 12 del medio día a pesar de pertenecer al programa fiesta americana […] rewards (que haces con un bebe de 1 año en el sol afuera del hotel) y eso que la ocupación estaba al 15% Mehr

日本人インストラクターがいるダイビングショップがホテルに併設されているというだけの理由でこのホテルを選びました。ですので、ホテルについては全く期待してませんでした。 部屋は安いガーデンビューという部屋を選んだのですが、ガーデンビューというよりも、ジャングルビューという感じでした。また、ホテルの本館から少し離れているのも少し不便でした。 オールインクルーシブで、夕食は２つのレストラン（ビュッフェかイタリアン）から選ぶのですが、イタリアンの方は事前の予約が必要ということで、１度、７時に予約しました。ただ、6時45分頃から急に大雨が降ってきたため、雨が弱まるのを待っていたら、結局レストランに行ったのが7時半頃になりました。そしたら、レストランの受付の人から、「今は7時半なので、もう遅い」、と入 […] 店を断れました。「そんなこと、聞いていない」と文句を言ったら、しぶしぶ入れてもらえましたが、「本来は10分しか待てない。次は10分以上遅れたら入れられない」と言われました。別にたいして込んでるわけでもないのにずいぶんな態度だと思いました（メキシコで、10分遅刻したら入店できないなんてことをしたら、誰も入れなくなるんじゃないかと思いますが）。 そうはいっても、ダイビングショップが隣接していることと、目の前のビーチでスノーケリングが楽しめるのは良かったです。 Mehr

2泊しました。オールインクルーシブです。ご飯はおいしいがちょっと単調。部屋はところどころ古さを感じるが、よくメンテナンスされているので問題なし。 スノーケルの道具は併設のダイブショップで借りるが、それも込みだとなおさらよし。ホテルの前でのスノーケルも楽しい。 他のダイブショップでは断られることもあるが、ここはスノーケルでもダイバーと一緒に船に乗せてもらえるようでした。

En general el hotel cumple las espectativas, la gente es muy amable y el hotel es muy comodo, el desayuno y cena son bastanta aceptables y la comida mas o menos. Si volveria a hospedarme aqui.

O Hotel está muito bem localizado para quem deseja fazer snorkel. O serviço da operadora de mergulho que atende ao hotel é excelente. O serviço do hotel é excelente e a brigada de garçons muito gentil e atenciosa. Se eu voltar para Cozumel me hospedarei lá novamente.

I've loved the hotel, it's nice and cozy, service is amaizing, restaurant nice, my kid does not speak ENglish or Spanish and spent a wonderful time at kids club
