Das Mediterranean Inn liegt etwas außerhalb des Zentrums Seattles in der Nähe des Seattle Centers (mit Space Needle). Es ist bequem per Bus (tageszeitabhängiger Preis zwischen $2,25 und $2,50) zu erreichen. Gleich nebenan ist ein Starbucks, dessen Kaffeeduft in die Lobby des Hotels zieht. Unser Zimmer war mit einer Mikrowelle, Spüle und einem Kühlschrank sowie großen Flachbildschirm ausgestattet. Leider hatte es keinen Safe, was aber nicht schlimm war. Das Bad war sauber und groß. Leider ohne Fenster. Der Ausblick aus dem Zimmer ging in den Innenhof des Hotels. Schade aber nicht so schlimm, denn die Dachterrasse des Hotels erlaubt einen Blick über Seattle. Die Angestellten des Hotels machten einen netten und hilfsbereiten Eindruck und haben uns auch um 4 Uhr morgens bei unsere Abreise geholfen. Das Hotel verfügt über WLAN und ein Business Center. Das WLAN ist für $5 pro Tag nutzbar und kann mit einem Fahrradausleihprogramm (in Summe $7,99) kombiniert werden. Im Sommer bestimmt sehr sinnvoll. Das Business Center ist kostenlos nutzbar (ebenso wie die Drucker und Faxgeräte darin). Außerdem verfügt das Hotel über einen Fitnessraum und diverse Münzwaschmaschinen und Trockner). Noch etwas zur Umgebung. In unmittelbarer Nähe (3-5 min zu Fuß) sind diverse Restaurants, Kneipen und auch ein Kino. Ebenso wie ein Safeway Supermarkt.

Die Vorzüge des Hotels sind eindeutig: 1.) Die ausgezeichnete Lage für Reisende die möglichst schnell (ca. 200 m zu Fuß) vom Hotel bis zu Check-In Schalter kommen möchten. Wegen der Kürze des Weges geht das sogar zu Fuß bei Regen ohne Schirm! 2.) Die unmittelbare Nähe (ca. 250 m) zum LightRail Link zwischen Flughafen und Seattle Downtown, wobei die Tageskarte ca. 5$ kostet. Fahrtzeit ca. 35 Minuten. Ansonsten war das Hotel älter in der Ausstattung (ungefähr 70er Jahre Bauzeit) mit einigen Upgrades (z.B. zwei neue Flachbildschirme). Das Standard-Zimmer (Bad, Schlafzimmer, Auftenhaltsraum) war sauber. Die Lounch und der Frühstücksbereich des Hotels gepflegt. Das Frühstück war hingegen nur Durchschnitt, so daß man eher in Seattle Downtown frühstücken möchte. Der sehr Nahe gelegene Flughafen bietet diesbezüglich auch nur wenig an. Einzige Kritikpunkte meines Zimmers auf der Seite zum Flughafen war der laute Straßenverkehr des 'Internationl Boulevard' for dem Hotel (der Fluglärm hingegen war gut erträglich). Und die Klimaanlage, welche in Seattle aber selten nötig wäre, wenn man das Fenster öffenen könnte. Das ging zwar mechanisch problemlos, aber bei dem Straßenverkehr-Krach ... Ich würde das Hotel dennoch weiterempfehlen. In der Summe war es rund.

Die Eastside von Seattle ist einer der wohlhabendsten Bezirke Amerikas. Die Anwesen mit einem Wert von mehreren Millionen Dollar am Ufer des Lake Washington dienen als luxuriöses Domizil für einige bekannte Milliardäre, darunter auch Bill Gates. Mit ihren riesigen Bürohochhäusern und Bankentürmen steht die Skyline von Bellevue Downtown der von Seattle in nichts nach. An der Eastside sind mehrere Hauptfirmensitze angesiedelt, u. a. die von Microsoft, Nintendo of America und Eddie Bauer.

The staff was nice and helpful. However we found a bag of dirty linen in the closet. It was nice to have bedding for the hide-a-bed readily available. Great price and nice size room. Close to amenities, and yet tucked out of the way.

"Bellevue--convenient for our plans in the city."
Wonderful! Great service. Quiet. Nice breakfast and extra little special things--even fresh, hot cookies ready for us and nice apples when we arrived and later, too, if we wanted more. Kind receptionist--willing to go the extra mile for our comfort! Enjoyed our stay very much and will want to stay in a Larkspur Landing again in the future.
"very close freeway access to get to all locales"
We were there for our 40th wedding anniversary. I was surprised that the hotel did not have any provisions for helping the celebration. On our honeymoon, we received a bottle of champagne and a fruit and cheese basket. For our 25th, we received the same. Don't think this would be a huge expense for the chain. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay.

"Quiet, Comfortable Hotel in Bellevue, WA"
This place was a great place to stay. It was in a quiet inside the hotel even though the interstate was several hundred feet away. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very nice and the bed was one of the most comfortable hotel beds I've slept in! A nice full continental breakfast was set out in the morning. The room smelled like the made was smoking while cleaning our room, the hallway also smelled terrible, we used a can of lysol. We asked for an additional blanket the first night and we are still waiting for it a week later!

What a pleasant surprise when we arrived. I had not stayed at this chain before and was so pleased with the overall amenities...Nice lobby and fireplace breakfast area, front desk...etc Our room was wonderful, nice bed and bath, living room with desk ....very comfortable The staff was very friendly and helpful.. I love this hotel....

Excellent service, super clean, friendly staff, quiet location, huge room (and we had one of the smaller ones), nice size kitchen w/full size fridge. Treats in the room and apples in the lobby. Even though near the freeway, just far enough back to not hear any traffic. Lots of parking as you really need a vehicle to get to this hotel and good directions […] as well. Loads of restaurants and stores just 5 min. down the road. I would definately stay here again, just outside of Seattle w/easy access to all the tourist sites. This is a very nice hotel. the building looks very nice and the room was very spacious. it also included a small kitchen. not such a great location if trying to visit the city of seattle. Do not get food delivered. it will cost you.

This hotel is reasonably priced and very well maintained. But what makes it different from the others are the little conveniences they offer to the traveler. The complimentary breakfast is very good and well supplied. Unlike other hotels, wifi is free and it works well, parking is free and underground, and free chocolate chip cookies are avail. in the […] evening. The rooms have a nice kitchenette, tv is flat screen and large, bathroom is spacious, and the beds are comfortable. "great for an extended stay"
Every room has a kitchen a large microwave full size fridge. The complimentary grocery shopping I thought was a great idea. I didn't get to use it being we only stayed for one night. All and all a great hotel for a great price. I've paid twice as much for less of a hotel. I should also mention the bedding was absolutely incredible high thread count […] sheets and down comforter were very welcoming. The staff welcomed us in like we were family. Hotel is very close to Everett & the Cascade loop. The service is excellent & rooms are very clean & comfortable. Finding the hotel was a bit tricky & a car is almost a must since hotel is not close to a transportation center.

We stayed at the Larkspur over the Christmas holidays, a quiet time for business travel. The location is great for Bellvue/Issaquah area, and there's a grocery store a few blocks away. That works well with the mini-kitchen. The room was fine, but we chose the hotel because they allow dogs. The room was clean and had everything we needed. The bed was so comfortable with 6 pillows I felt like I was on a cloud. Wifi was fast and they had fresh cookies in the lobby. Would definately stay here again and recommend it!
"Great for business travel"
Very comfortable room with a nice work area. Full sized fridge which was helpful for me as I travel with lots of food samples. My only complaint about the hotel is the elevators are the slowest things ever. Stay on a lower floor if possible.

"Larspur landing Bellevue"
A bit hard to find but called the desk and were guided in easily. Stayed 2 nights. Friendly staff. Small but comfortable room with kitchen (m/w, stove top, fridge, dishwasher). Decent breakfast. Easy access to freeways. Stores and restaurants nearby although not in the hotel. Would definitely stay again.

"Very Welcoming!"
It was a nice clean, and cozy room. The staff was great. The only issue was a toilet that quit working in the middle of the night.

Overall good experience with the exception of a window air-condition/heating unit which was so laud that sleeping was nearly impossible. I didn'lt try to get that fixed, I just turned it off which worked for me. "very quiet"
forest setting. not sure if building has shifted and settled but the window and door were both out of square and a continuous cool draft came in which was somewhat bothersome but most everything else was acceptable. Would stay here again on the special rate.

The staff was extremely friendly and the room was even nicer than I expected. A little off the main roads made for a quiet location, though without GPS, it would have been hard to find. Overall, I give it a full two thumbs up!

I was shocked that this hotel was as highly rated as it was. It is beautiful when you walk in, but the actual rooms are another story. It is just an outdated EconoLodge with a fancy name.
"Nice get away"
The location provided a nice get away for my wife and I while being close to the things we needed. The place was clean and quiet, the kitchenette was really nice as we like to bring our own food and keep things simple. We will come back and enjoy it again for sure!

"Nice hotel if you can find it."
Once I found the location (kind of hard to find even though it's right off I-90) it exceeded my expectations. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the room and bed were extremely confortable and it is close to many things. I will stay here again and recommend you check it out on your next visit to East Seattle.

We had a last minute trip to the Seattle area and stayed at the Larkspur Landing in Bellevue. We were pleasantly surprised to find a wonderful place to stay! The front staff were very welcoming and even found fresh warm Chocolate Chip cookies up at the front desk. The room was clean and very modern with a full kitchenette, internet hook up and flat […] screen tv's in the bedroom and livingroom area. The complementary breakfast was okay; juices, cereal, milk, fruit, yogurt. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. "Not fancy but served us well."
We stayed over Christmas and this property was just what we needed. The breakfast was fine, the property was quiet and we would stay again. My only issue was the lack of good task lighting. Thes staff was very attentive if needed.

This is not a 4 or 5 star hotel but for convenience and price it can't be beat! The staff was better than many 5 stars we've visited. There was a problem with our room and without hesitation or argument the front dest staff handled the situation very quickly and happily and checked back to make sure we were taken care of. The staff at the front desk were very helpful in resolving any issues we came across during our stay. the hotel is close to the I5 making it easier to find our way around an unfamiliar city! Overall we were very happy with the Hotel and its staff!

Great hotel, very clean and nice. Good bed. Decent free breakfast though I've had better (beggars can't be choosers). The only thing is that it is not easy to find in the dark when we checked in late at night. Very close to Nordstrom Rack! We'd stay here again.
