Comfortable stay, with the excitement of the Casino if you want it. Plenty of food choices, great staff, clean, quiet room, and great location. Felt like a vacation even though I only stayed 1 night!

The room was very nice that we stayed in but, to find the hotel part of the casino was like a challenge. There was no sign as to where to go to find the hotel part. We went through two doors on the ground level and finally after walking in and up a flight we had to go to a cash window and ask where the check in part was. When he directed us to it there […] were three dell computers set up on separate desks with a lady on a phone at one. There was no sign above them , behind them or anything saying that this was the hotel check in and out area. We checked in .Rode the elevator up to our room. Slept well. Got up and came to our elevator to do down and none of the elevators worked. It took a while to find some stairs. There were no signs as far as we could see to find the stairs. We were on some strange stairs with a trash bucket overturned with pieces of wallboard and spackle everywhere. They led us to an outside door. We had to go back in the regular doors and walk up the one flight of stairs that led us to our mysterious check in place and put our paperwork in a box since no one was there. Mehr

This place is the worst place I have ever stayed. The room I checked into was not clean, the bed was stripped and there was garbage all over the place, obviously the room was not turned over when the earlier occupants left. The next room smelled bad but I did not have the strength to go back down. The hotel is dirty and old and looks like no one takes […] care of it. I pre-paid for a two night stay over Memorial Day weekend. My room key ceased working after the first day and it took three attempts walking next door to the Radisson to try to get one that worked. For whatever reason, they couldn't produce a key that would work. Finally, I had to wait for Security to let me into my room. All this took over an hour […] at midnight on Sunday night. Then, after I checked out, they charged my credit card for my stay notwithstanding that I pre-paid on Hotels.com. It took three days and four calls to straighten that out. As for the place itself, it's old and run down. There are numerous better places to stay in the area. Mehr

I've stayed here twice before an it was great,but this time was not pleasant at all. the first room we checked in on our arrival was a king bed room; The room was so small an it was located at the end of the hallway on an angle so we asked for another room which we got the next day. I happen to be a travel agent so my standards may be a little high. I don't live too far from this hotel and my boyfriend and I just wanted a little alone time. Check in and registration was not clearly marked or easy to find. The registration desk was under manned and you often had to wait for someone to "be right back" as the sign said. The hallways […] and room smelled musty. The room itself was very nice....well furnished, comfortable bed and very nice bathroom with Jacuzzi tub. We ordered room service for dinner from the menu in the room. As we ordered it just about everything on the menu was not available and we had to order from their ala carte special menu. We were also told that all veggies etc were ala carte. So I ordered dinners and veggies and the dinners did come with veggies ...so I paid for veggies we didn't eat because I thought we had to. My room service bill was more than my room and double what it would have been if their in room menu was available. Mehr

I did not like the fact that the bathroom was not very clean, really don't like that there is hair in the bathtub. Means to me someone is not cleaning it properly.

My friends and I got to the hotel and checked in without any issues. We get to our room, and our room is TRASHED. There are mattresses up against the wall, drawers pulled out. It was like the place was ransacked. We went down and got a new room, they did upgrade us to a double suite (which really was the same room with more space in front of the beds. […] And a bigger bath tub. The room was decent enough. Our bathroom wreaked of cigarette smoke (we had a non-smoking room), and the sheets were filthy as well as the little bench sitting area (which could only hold one person). Everything about our room was great, except the tub. It's huge and would be appealing for a nice soak, but it's so worn and just ugly looking, I wouldn't want to actually sit in it. Room had lots of space.

My stay was because of a bike expo that the casino was hosting. Once I arrived I was checked right in, I was handed 2 cards 1 of which I knew was a room key and another I found out later was a pass to enter the casino. The overall cleanliness of the room was impressive , but the jets in the huge tub did not work. Then found out later in the night the […] AC did not work neither woke up in a puddle of sweat. Before the bathtub and AC issue I was advised that there was a 20 membership fee to enter the Casino ?! Never in my life have I had to pay a "cover charge" to gamble! Then the casino is like a hole in the wall it was very small and hard to find any machine or table to play. Over all I will never return for a future stay as the hotel staff offered a FREE breakfast for my tub & AC not working . Mehr

Overall my stay was great. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. There are a lot of dining options on-site. The only negative was that the fitness center is somewhat small for the size of the hotel (so I had to wait to use cardio equipment in the morning) and the one exercise bike was out of order.

I was there for the boxing event. It sucked.. fights were ok, but the seating n view was bad.. the room was nice. Bed was broken n had a nice jacuzzi tub that didn't work. I was told that they r removing them for walkin showers..

For the price, this was my best deal in a long time. I've stayed at much lessor hotels for twice the money which didn't come close to my experience at Valley Forge. And I even won a few bucks in the casino. I will definitely go back.

Nothing special about this property. When new casino was built, owners kept exsisting hotel and rooms and really did not renovate or update at all. Jacuzzi or hot tub fits 10 and taking a shower feels like your standing in a boat. Old and worn I guess is how I would describe it. Only disappointed with the Casino becuase of smoking. Machine would be none smoking then the next one would be smoking. Hotel staff was very freindly. Room was very clean and updated with new bedding. Bed also was very comfortable. Bathrooms was very clean and had a very nice shower. I would come back and stay again if needed too.

We have stayed at Valley Forge Casino towers before, and this experience was not the best. Our room was not clean, the heater smelled when you turned it on and the refrigerator made a thumping noise so loud we had to unplug it.

Only negative - gotels.com lists every room as having a jacuzzi tub. The hotel's web site does not suggest that. The hotel's web site is accurate - they've deactivated the jets :-( Otherwise the hotel is adequate. I stayed one night, hit the bar/casino and had fun. I was in town for a 5 day visit at the Laser Spine Institute. Beds were very comfortable but time for new bedding. Everything is outdated and very much in need of upgrading. arrived at the hotel at 11:05PM. familiar with the property from previous stays, proceeded directly to the tower. We booked the tower, in my opinion less attractive/nice, due to the need for only 1 night and was less expensive. greeted by a friendly - yet slow paced - valet. then proceeded up to 2nd floor front desk (without offer to help with bags […] or mention that the desk might be closed since it was after 11). got to the desk, waited 10 minutes for a clerk - was dealing with an upset guest who didn't get the room type they booked - THEN we were we had to drag over to the Radisson as the Casino Tower front desk closes at 11:00 (keep in mind it was 11:05 when we walked up, now 11:15!) We had no offer for them to hold bags while we trekked across the convention center. We got to the desk where we received room keys. and directed to trek with back across the convention center to tower to our room. got to room and walked into a handicapped room with double beds. We booked a king. At this point we just wanted to sleep, the response we got when I called the desk though to note to them this occurred was not "I'm sorry" or, at the least, "we don't have kings left" just "there is nothing we can do about it, goodnight." CLICK! THEN when I walked all the way back across to the Radisson (because the Casino Tower desk was closed) for toothpaste, I was told they had none. nothing they can do. Seemed to be their answer to all of the issues we had that night. Nothing they can do. Mehr

We arrived early on Friday and check-in was a breeze at the hotel. The room was very spacious and the bed very comfortable.The only thing we didn't like was that the bed was not made with fitted sheets. By the morning, the mattress was exposed. When we entered our room we were greeted by an awful smell, followed by a completely broken closet door falling out of the track. The bathroom was large and had a huge bath tub, but it had mold on the shower curtain. The bed was VERY uncomfortable and the sheets were stained. The TV remote didn't work. I would never stay again.
