Ramada Limited Louisville Airport/Expo - Louisville

Only problem we had was noisy neighbors in the room next to ours. Both times we called the desk and they came up and took care of it.

The hotel was very quiet, miraculous because it was completely full. The breakfast--and it served a large number of people--was very well run and quite good. It was close to the exposition center, where I attended a conference, which was a big plus. The room was very clean and cozy. The service was good and I was in and out when I needed to be. This location is great if anyone is going to the fairgrounds.

Staff was very nice. Overall the hotel was decent. It was a very good price. My complaints would be that the breakfast was not good (my bagel was rock hard), and the room had a bit of a smell.

After we had to cancel a pre-planned weekend in Cincinnati due to car trouble, my children were disappointed...they were looking forward to simply staying in a hotel and swimming in a pool. For the inexpensive cost of this last-minute stay, we were VERY satisfied. Everything was very clean, the staff was nice, and the pool was just fine for our needs. […] I was also pleasantly surprised at how comfortable the beds were for a simple, inexpensive hotel! the staff was very courteous. If you are a light sleeper, be warned that the airport is extremely close. Beds were hard. Early risers get the best variety of breakfast foods. Walking distance to Expo. Just be sure to enter at Gate 3 instead of Gate 4.

The room was perfect for what we needed and he staff was very nice and accomadating. It was across street from freedom hall which is perfect. Very quiet has swimming area which is good if u have kids they only was to get in is ask the receptionist which is good safety feature. Definitely will stay again

EVERONE FROM THE CHECK IN CLERK TO THE HOUSEKEEPING STAFF WERE VERY NICE AND HELPFUL. THE PRICE WAS VERY NICE. BEDS WERE COMFORTABLE AND PILLOWS LIKE HEAVENLY MARSHMELLOWS, ALSO ENOUGH PILLOWS. MOST HOTELS GIVE 2 PER BED, RAMADA HAD 4. EXCELLANT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hotel met all expectations for the weekend. Close proximity to our venue. Rooms were clean and comfortable. We don't spend a lot of time in our rooms when we are at shows, but this fit our requirements perfectly - clean, comfortable and reasonably priced.

Friendly staff, close to high way and across street from 6 flags. Room was clean. We stayed for 2 nights.

I was pleasantly surprised at how quiet our room was considering the proximity to the airport. It was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was somewhat limited but good. I would stay there again if the price is still good.

The receptionist was very nice and helpful. Great stay, will come back next year!

First of all, I reserved a double queen room. When I arrived at the hotel I was told they didn't not have any double queen rooms but they could give me 2 separate king rooms....really!!! The room and the hotel was not very clean and the pool was lacking as well. I was not impressed with my overall stay and won't stay there again. I loved my stay at the Ramada. We were only there for a night to go see a concert at the Expo center. The Ramada is within walking distance so we were thrilled that we didn't have to drive or get a taxi. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. This hotel smelled of cigarettes & pets. It was disgusting!!! The only positive thing I have to say about this hotel was the service. Everything else was awful. I was there on business and needed breakfast in the morning so I booked this hotel because they had breakfast and was close to the fairgrounds. The breakfast was not even ready when I got down […] at 8am. It wasnt a full continental bar. One of the juices were out and they had no waffle mix for the waffle maker! The room smelled gross and the beds felt like plastic. The elevator, I felt, we were going to break every time I went up and down! Overall, would DEFINITLY NOT choose this hotel again!! Mehr

Cordial staff, clean room, great location for attending event @ Kentucky Fair & Expo Center. The room as well as the bed & pillows were clean & comfortable. Nice toiletries. Bathroom was clean. I particularly liked the breakfast choices. The room was decent but they could have warmed the room before we arrived on a freezing night.

WE WANTED A QUALITY HOTEL FOR OUR STAY IN LOUISVILLE AT THE TRADE SHOW , THE ROOM WAS OLD AND MILDEW SMELL ALL OVER THE WHOLE HOTEL IS A SAD EXAMPLE OF A RAMADA HOTEL , WE COULD HAVE STAYED ANYWHERE FOR THE SAME PRICE AND WE PICKED RAMADA BECAUSE WE THOUGHT IT WOULD BE A GOOD NIGHT SLEEP , THE ROAD NOISE WAS SO BAD , I HAD TO BUY SLEEPING PILLS THE […] NEXT DAY FOR A NIGHT SLEEP . I attended a convetion at the expo and this hotel was perfect because it was walking distance to the expo. Restaurant in the hotel is great. Received excellent service.

This was by far the worst hotel stay and room I have ever had. The room was directly off the lobby next to a door that lead to hallway. The door hinge off of the lobby had a squeak and resonated into the room I was in. The door off the lobby would slam and not close quietly. I am likely never to stay at a Ramada again.

We were very pleased with our stay at this Ramada Inn. It has recently been renovated. Staff was very courteous, room were clean, food was good. We attended the National Quartet Convention which was close to the inn, but too far to walk. I would have liked it if they had a shuttle bus. Also the filter in the air conditioning unit needed cleaning. We […] would not have noticed, but my husband has recently had a kidney transplant and we have to be more aware of germs because his immune system has been surpressed. Mehr

This is an older property that has been recently renovated. Although their are a lot of new furniture and fixtures, the building, itself, shows its age. The hotel is located directly across from the fair grounds and the Six Flags amusement park, on a busy boulevard. Not a 'great' neighborhood, but manageable for a short stay. As another review mentioned, […] the wireless in the room is pretty spotty. We had basically one small location, at the bottom of one of the beds that it would connect. Working online at the desk was worthless. The morning breakfast buffet was marginal, at best. The staff, however, was very nice and even gave us a coupon for the bar and grill across the street which was very good. Worked really well for what we needed very close to Louisville fairgrounds... little problem at registration, but got it worked out. good place to stay.

We stayed at this hotel when my son was in town for a swim meet. The rate was reasonable, and I would say it was worth the price. However, a warning to anyone who may be staying there with a need to access the Internet. We were there two days, and the wireless connection was extremely slow in our room and we were constantly losing a connection. This […] was on two different computers. I needed to do some work, but it was impossible unless I went and sat in the hotel lobby. The first night, I complained and the woman at the desk was no help. She informed me that it should work because there was a router by our room. Well, it didn't work, and my son and I ended up sitting in the hotel lobby instead of the comfort of our room. The next day, the young man at the desk tried to help by resetting the router, but it only helped for a short time and started running slowly and kicking us offline again. If you don't have a need for the internet, this is a fine place to stay. If you do have a need to be online, I would not recommend it. Mehr

Really enjoyed our stay there, clean and comfortable.

Nice hotel with modern decor. Very clean room! Convenient to local attractions & interstate. Would stay here again!

It had all the basic requirements: free internet, cable tv, air conditioning, free basic breakfast, small workout room. front desk staff seemed bored, the cleaning crew was friendly. rooms towards the street are a bit noisy. within walking distance to the University of Louisville. lots of other choices nearby but they are more expensive.

The room had a musty, mildewy smell, but was otherwise clean, comfortable, and everything worked.

If you don't mind the smell of stale cigarette smoke, polyester comforters, cold bathroom floors and thin walls, this is a fine place to stay. The staff was definitely among the nicest I've experienced.

Staff was very friendly and rooms were clean. Not sure I would swim in the pool - it was heated and indoors, so it felt a little stuffy. Otherwise, no concerns.

The hotel is clean, with good sound proofing. Breakfast was included. Walking distance to the exposition center, and right on the transit line, so you don't need a rental car. I would recommend this hotel to a friend.

Paper thin walls and sketchy clientele--there was a fight at 3 in the morning in the room next door, topping off a night of persistent noise. The other two nights were tolerable. If you do stay here, make sure you're on the opposite side of Crittenden Drive, so you don't have to hear traffic all night.
