Overall very positive. Pros: Staff very friendly, breakfast served late at weekends. Cons: Sofabed not suitable for adults, oustide Bristol (but that shouldn't come as a surprise). Note: You might have to bring your own swim-boards if you have young kids using the swimming pool, as the hotel didn't have any.

The room was very run down and was in need of refurbishment, however the rest of the hotel was nice and the staff friendly.

I arrived and the hotel was on an industrial estate miles away from Bristol centre I booked in and was told i could have a hand with luggage but when i went to get luggage out of car the porter/receptionist had disapeared. The room was tired and shabby furniture could do with update there was mold on the windows so room was not being aired properely […] and this was supposed to be ahilton not for me not recomended Mehr

tv in room 125 did not work mainteance man could not repair felt very disappointed after coming back from day's outing not to be able to relax and watch tv staff very helpful and friendly

Having read some of the reviews on this Hotel I had almost changed my mind. I was so glad I didn't. This hotel provided everythign we needed. Room was really clean and comfortable. The bed was huge.. The Staff were amazing, very friendly and helpful. Nice lobby / bar if a little quiet. Background music would be a bonus. Buses outside the Hotel great […] service so location not an issue. Only real fault - the food was not great. Mehr

real nice stay with my wife for a weekend, as soon as we arrived the reception staff offered an upgrade which my wife accepted in a wink of an eye! For what we paid the room was really nice and we made full use of the facilities and the surrounding area for restaurants was good as we found the price of the hotel restaurant expensive!

The room was really nice and the bed was very comfy! The TV service was a bit annoying because the channels didn't show. The pool and spa was nice, although there were a lot of kids in the hotel so it was pretty busy in the day, though it did calm down around 7ish.

Chosen for proximity to work this was ideal for me but no good if you want to be close to the city centre since it's on a business estate. Taxi ride from Bristol Parkway cost £10. Good large room with a great bed. Food was extortionately expensive for what it was.

The booking process was difficult due to the salesperson's very heavy accent making it difficult to understand what was being said. The hotel itself was OK - I stayed with my family and the leisure club was a big hit. The restaurant menu was cheap, service was good but the buffet style dinner presented mediocre quality food - the meat joints were on […] the dryish side. I asked 1 of the servery staff a direct question and got no response! The night's sleep was disturbed by loud heating system noise and ruined our stay. Mehr

Unwisely, I believed a review that said parking is free fridays & saturdays - it isn't, it's £5 (January 2012). Yet there were plenty of empty spaces and this hotel relies on motorists for it's custom. I chose to park outside the grounds rather than have the fee automatically deducted from my visa card. I stayed with my daughter and grand-daughter. I wrongly thought that I had booked a room with 2 double beds, however there was one double and two singles froma sofa bed - these beds were 25" wide and a very very thin mattress which you could feel every bar. As my daughter is pregnant I insited that she sleep in the double bed, which left the 2 very […] small singles for my grand daughter and myself. It was a very uncomfortable night and because the sofa bed was in use there was no space in the room at all. I have stayed in the hotel before with no problemsl, but this time I was very disappointed. I also feel that the receptionist also slipped up as we were not told the times of the breakfast, check out etc. which is usually standard. I would stay again but would be ultra careful about what I am booking. Mehr

Reception and restaurant staff courteous. Leisure club staff reluctantly broke off a conversation to deal with us. Rooms in need of refurbishment although clean.

The hotel location was ideal for Cribbs Causeway, Bristol Centre and Ikea. 18 minutes drive to the City Centre. Staff very accommodating and friendly. Breakfast was excellent, buffet style with many choices. Secure parking however there may be a charge. Rooms adequate and cleaned daily. Would stay again and recommend.

Beautiful room, prime location, but the weekend we visited the hot tub was out of order with no prior warning, the food was lovely but extortionate, we were unexpectantly charged for parking and we both had 2 terrible nights sleep on the poor mattress/pillow set up. A treat if you are after the basics, but disappointing as it was ment to be an indulgence. […] However, any complaints we had were addressed and attended to by the capable staff, although staffing may be a bit thin on reception. Good leisure centre and they let kids use the steam room/ jacuzzi etc. Not too far to drive into central Bristol. Breakfast was good: buffet with plenty of choice. Room was a bit tired but for a family stay (rather than a romantic one) it was exceptionally good value. Food and drink was vastly overpriced though - catering for the business traveller […] on expenses. We went elsewhere: but despite the limitations, we had a great stay and the hotel provided what we expected of it. Mehr

This hotel is great for where it is placed. It could be a great hotel, but could do with a general maintence uplift and a proper clean, ie rid of cobwebs etc.

This hotel is summed up by the fact they charge £5 a day to park in their grounds yet the hotel is in the middle of an industrial estate with ample parking.

Overall the hotel is quite ok, and it's very good that it has a pool and gym. The breakfast was good by British standards. However, the hotel has a tired interiour and should certainly be renovated. Also, our room was not clean. Most of it was ok, but in the entrance the walls, doors, and wardrobe was covered with a thick layer of dust, looked like […] it was sprayed from a vacuum cleaner. After complaining, they cleaned the wardrobe, on one side, and partly the mirror. The rest was just as dusty. Will not return. Btw, the hotel is not in Bristol, but approx 13 km drive from the city centre. Mehr

Wasn't impressed with the hotel buffet food, especially the starters, but overall a nice stay, nice king bed.

Very happy with the quality and service of this hotel. Excellent choice @ breakfast, with efficient service. Room spacious and comfortable. Very happy with the rate i paid through Hotels.com compared to the tariff shown behind the reception desk. ! Roughly a 70% discount. Would definately stay again.

I had an amazing weekend at this hotel with no real issues. Very clean, great service and fantastic facilities. I would reccomend everyone to stay here if you want a great relaxing weekend away.

Good standard of hotel, but don't expect to be Wow'ed! The hotel was clean and tidy, but the decor is starting to look tired. Parking is free Friday and Saturday nights, but £5 per night Sunday-Thursday. The bed was comfortable enough and room was plenty big enough.

Stayed for 1 night there with 2 other friends. The sofa bed was just normal -> low side. But all the rest were good. Breakfast was great, loads of choices.

Location - Very convinient on M4/M5 intersection, hotel is sited next to an industrial estate but is very well shielded and it really isn't a problem. Rooms - Very nicely appointed. We had a family room with a pull out sofa bed for the children. There was still plenty of space and a flat screen TV to keep them occupied. Facilities - Only used the […] pool but it was excellent, there is also a sauna, steam room and a gym. Dining - Only had breakfast but again the buffet had everything that you would expect. Cooked english breakfast, cereal, fruit, toast, danish pastry, cold meat and cheese, yoghurt etc The waitress even brought hot chocolate for my children which they loved. Overall very impressed. The reception staff even had an activty pack (colouring books, jigsaw puzzle) for each of my children. Very quick check in and check out, value for money. I would definitely recommend this hotel. The hotel is pleasant enough but I would agree with other reviews that this is a Motel and not what you would expect form a four star Hotel. it is located just off the motorway and is very convenient if you don't want to stay in the centre of Bristol but it is not the sort of place you would go to for a romantic weekend break. I note some other reviews […] which said that the hotel staff were indifferent . I think this is harsh and not my experience. I found all staff to be polite and obliging . As with all service industries there are a lot of Eastern Europeans employed who, as you would expect , are very polite, receptive to requests and obliging however possibly culturally a bit reserved. I have no complaints about this at all. The atmosphere is respectful and not loud and over-friendly. Breakfast and evening meals are buffets but the food is of a good standard. The hotel itself is a good step up from premier inn. I don't mean that to sound bad. it is a clean and well presented hotel but the simple fact is that it is a motel with a few extras eg, a pool and steam room and not a large hotel. I would stay there again if I was on business or just stopping overnight but not as somewhere for a romantic get away etc... Mehr

This is basically a poor quality travelodge with the name "Hilton" above the door. Service was appalling, bedrooms needed a makeover - small, threadbare carpets, uncomfortable beds, plugs scarce and not working properly. They tried to charge for breakfast which was included in our booking. There is no wifi in the bedrooms, just wired broadband. The […] access to wifi costs £6 for 90 minutes. Parking costs £5 per day. Pool was nice and some of the staff were more than helpful but I got the feeling that the "good" staff were chasing their tails trying to make up for the idle ones. Bottom line is - if you're considering booking this hotel - don't bother Mehr

Not the usual Hilton experience; reception staff wholly disinterested; restaurant staff ignored guests waiting for tables & then ignored when waiting to order. After ordering was advised that as they had been busy (restaurant was only half full) & they had run out of my choice from limited menu. Managed to get bar menu. At bar placed order after delay […] whilst ignored by staff. Found table and cleared it myself to sit down. After 15 minutes was asked if I would like another drink - suggested that I would like the one I ordered first! Food was quite good but service was disinterested and no sign of anyone in charge. Room was clean but bed was very hard - even for me who likes a firm mattress. View over back of hotel. The self-service breakfast was excellent - only good service I saw in the Bristol Hilton during my stay - although, to be fair the breakfast staff were attentive with coffee. At checkout, no friendly comments from staff, simply handed the bill. Next time I'll stay somewhere else! Mehr

Arrived early to check in. Was offered another room but declined as room was on first floor and there were no lifts as we had asked for an accessable room.We were initially told by reception that it would be ready in half an hour. Now having waited for an hour we were then told that guests in room allocted had not even checked out . To compensate for […] this inconvenience we were offered a deluxe room on the ground floor . We were kept informed throughout and staff could not do enough to help. Will definitely go back and would recommend this hotel without any hesitation. Hotel is outside Bristol up M5, in a business park, so I was surprised to see paid parking in the grounds! Hotel itself was clean and of a standard you expect from a Hilton. Swimming pool was a plus, as was good breakfast. Staff were friendly and recommended Cribbs Causeway shopping area for a range of family friendly restaurants (5 mins down M5) You […] definitely need transport to stay here Mehr

Very impressed with the hotel, staff friendly, very clean, rooms comfortable. Will try and make more use of the amenities next time.

The hotel was really nice and friendly and felt homey, i am planning to again with friends, i had so much fun, the pool, steam room and sauna were amazing, nice and relaxing :)

Clean, comfortable and convenient, however; Evening meal "buffet" was very disappointing with only a dried up bowl of non-descript pasta-something and some over cooked vegetables available for vegetarians. Breakfast was very good and half the price of dinner! Also, why does a hotel that claims to consider the environment (see towel/bedding washing […] policy) insist on having 7 separate lights and the TV on in the room to "greet" the customer? and it was still daylight!! If you arrive by taxi watch out for an erroneous car parking charge on your bill...... Mehr

Excellent hotel, in a good location. Staff were fantastic and unbelievable helpful and friendly. Room large and clean, with all essentials. Nice bar and restaurant. Excellent food and huge breakfast. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Complimentary bottle of wine, bowl of fruit & box of chocs were a welcome surprise on arrival. Huge bed was very comfortable & we slept well though room was on the warm side. Bathroom a decent size & suite in excellent condition. Complimentary morning paper was good and full breakfast superb, with wide menu choice.
