This is a very excellent hotel, nice and comfortable beddings. Very clean and cozy rooms. Will stay here my next trip to Dallas.

The hotel was beautiful and elegant and extremely comfortable. The staff was welcoming and cheerful. We did have a leak in the bathroom sink that we alerted the front desk about, they said they would send someone from maintenance to fix it however the maintenance worker sweet to the room and then reported that it was fixed and nothing was done at all. […] No offer to change rooms or anything. I don't think it was the fault of the hotel establishment, just the maintenance worker that either didn't know his stuff or was just playing lazy. Other than that, nice place to stay and would not hesitate to stay there again. Mehr

Quality of customer was exemplary as usual with double tree and other hilton chain hotels. Not a lot of things to do/eat in walking distance but tons of eateries and shopping just up the highway a bit. You also can request for them to use the shuttle to go to these areas so you don't have to spend money on a cab. You can also shuttle to the train station […] and take that to the downtown area for a $4 all day pass then just call the hotel when you return to the station and they will pick you back up. This hotel is also a short ride to the airport so you don't have to get up too early to get there and the shuttle will take you for free if it is within the hours of operation (I believe they start the shuttle at 0700) but if not the cab fee is very cheap as well. Great hotel and nice view of a lake!

This Doubletree, although at a convenient location and with a nice lake and walking trail, is not quite up to par with other Doubletree's I've stayed at. I missed the small touches - robes, bottled water that you aren't charged for, and most of all no cookies upon check in. I did not use their restaurant or bar since it was a quick check in late, depart […] out mid-morning. Mehr

We chose this hotel because of price and proximity to the airport. The room was large, but the bed was lumpy and the air conditioner never cooled off the room. Because it was late, we didn't report the faulty air conditioner. We didn't sleep well because of these two things.

Im a severe germaphobe. There are only 3 hotels i visit in the entire dfw area. This is one of them. Its always clean and the staff is wonderful~

Very nice hotel. Rooms were small, had a view of the lake it was nice. Food at the hotel wasn't good at all and very pricie.....Eat out....

Bed was so comfortable! Staff was extremely friendly and we got such a great deal. We would definately stay again.

Great service - we asked for a microwave and fridge in the room prior to arrival and when we arrived everything was set ready in the room! The balcony and lake view is amazing! Great location and close to shopping at grapevine mills! Would definitely go back if in the area!

One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. Great rooms. Very nice area. Super nice employees. Couldn't ask for more.

My accommodations were exceptional for business or leisure, and for what I paid I was very satisfied and would recommend and stay again.

The staff was super friendly and the hotel was clean, well maintained and easy access to the interstate. Would definitley recommend to friends an family.

This hotel was nice; however, it is a little older. The staff at the desk were not dressed very nice but they were friendly and check-in was fast and easy. The hotel is in a good location, close to restaurants and shopping.

Comfortable room setting, polite staff!

When I booked at this hotel, I was familiar with DoubleTree. I've always had a great stay at the other ones I've visited so I had high hopes for this as well. The hotel room I booked was for one king-sized room with a balcony. I put in the special comments that this was a late Valentine's Day gift and wanted to make it special. When I arrived at the […] hotel, to my dismay, I had not received a balcony room. Rather then going back to guest services, I set up my gift for my partner and went back down. Right before leaving, I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask about a balcony room. So I did. The service desk woman looked at my reservation and mentioned that I had booked a normal room (no balcony and lakeside view) and that those were more expensive. But after reading my special comments about my stay, bumped me up to the top floor with a FANTASTIC view and a balcony. Needless to say, I was completely appreciative and thankful. I grabbed my gift from the other room, set it up in the new room and couldn't have been happier with the way my stay went. Moral of the story: it doesn't hurt to ask! Even if I would have had to pay an extra few dollars so the room upgrade, I would have paid for it but I was blown away at the representative's hospitality and attentiveness to my needs. She even recognized me the next morning and asked me how my night went. Will be booking here again during the summer to make full use of the pool and the balcony! Thanks DoubleTree Mehr

We had a great experience with our stay at the Double Tree Club by Hilton Farmers Branch. The staff was courteous and helpful, rooms were very clean and spacious. The best part were the awesome Oatmeal Chocolate Chip cookies that were warm at our arrival. We wanted to check in a few more times they were great. The hotel is located in a very nice part of the metroplex that is underdeveloped, but has a very safe feel. It is extremely easy to get to and although only a stones throw away from DFW Airport, has no audible jet noise. Parking was ample and well lit. The lobby seemed nice and did have the advertised amenities. The room was a little dated, but acceptable […] for a short stay. The only problem I personally had was that my room wasn't ready when I was told it would be ready. I actually had to wait 2 hours to get it and the staff made it seem as if I should be lucky to get it then. I asked about getting a room overlooking the canal since I had to wait and again was told no go and to have a good wait.....not in so many words, but just as rude. I won't stay here again for that reason, but wouldn't stop someone else from doing it. Mehr

Excellent accommodations for the price!!!! Close to shopping and many attractions. Room was clean and comfortable and hotel staff were friendly, efficient and accmmodating.

Double Tree Hotel Irving was awesome bacony view with double beds and lovely water front view from bacony. Also treated their guest equil across the board recommend the stay to everyone on facebook great and warm welcoming hotel. I loved it!!

The internet here sucks. Seriously, dial up would be quicker.

I was visiting Dallas for business trip and I have health condition. I asked for a shuttle bus every day to a training Center and when I mentioned my health condition they provide it for me every day whenever I need it . The best exprience is whenever I finish my training I found the bus outside waiting for me. Very impressed w/ my hotel room.The room was very clean and nicely decorated. Comftable bed and sweet dreams pillow awaits you. The hotel front desk personel were very friendly and helpful.

Great place. Clean rooms and great mattresses. The value was amazing. Best deal I've had anywhere.

Great rate. Was just what was needed in a pinch. The beds were warm and comfy. The bathroom was clean and sparkly. The staff was warm and inviting. Made me feel as if I had stayed there before. I like that the only way in is thru the front door. No worries about anyone just walking in off the street. the area is quite. The in room coffee was by Wolfgang […] Puck as was the teas. Very good. Next time I need a room in the area ( and I will for the next upcoming Hockey Tournment).....I will book this Hotel again. Oh and cookies are to die for ;) Mehr

For the price this hotel was worth staying in. A three star property, that's about all I can say.

The hotel is very clean, comfortable, and modern. The staff was very helpful. The neighborhood is a business park, so you have to drive a ways for restaurants and even convenience stores.

One night Stop in Dallas on the way to Chile, so near DFW Airport, And not far from City and Shopping. Will be better if they have frigo bar at the room!

The room was good.. Loved the location. And the hotel staff simply put was awesome.. Very very very accommodating!

This was a small hotel for a Double Tree -- 6 floors, small outdoor pool (no jaccuzzi) and a smaller than average room, but it was clean, the service was wonderful and our stay was enjoyable. Full service bar and free pool table.

2nd time in Dallas that we have stayed at this hotel. 20 minutes from Downtown. Staff was extremely friendly. Internet is slow.
