Very nice hotel. Good staff. Awesome breakfast buffet.Walk easily to shopping, dinner and entertainment. If you need it they will take in the shuttle.

great place to stay great room .....elevators were slow.That was the only bad thing I CAN SAY

The staff was very friendly. The breakfast was good. My gripe with this hotel is that wireless is not free and your charged for every computer and phone you want to have access to the internet. That cost us another $50.

The hotel is situated right off the plaza which is excellent for shopping or seeing the museums near Crowne Center. The parking situation was our only complaint. Half the garage was closed off. The remaining portion was totally full. We had to park around the block and walk to the hotel. Also there is a $14/day parking fee if you park in the Marriott's […] garage!!! The room was exceptional-lots of room, very comfortable and clean. The breakfast was great! Not sure that it's worth $12/person but good nonetheless. Mehr

The hotel was located by the plaza and close to the light and power district so it was great. The staff was helpful and very friendly. My son just moved to Kansas City so I know we will be there alot more and will plan to stay at this hotel everytime.

great location. 5 minute walk to the plaza. Otherwise, there's a shuttle that will drop off and pick up. Highly recommend the hotel. Staff was great for giving advice on restaurants and where to go. They were always helpful. Morning buffets were also great.

We chose this hotel because it was a Marriott property, and it was located half way between our home and our daughter's home. They gave us rooms next to each other, which our grand-daughter thought was lot's of fun.It was located within easy walking distance to an art museum with a large outdoor sculpture park, perfect for little ones to run around, […] and many nice restaurants for dinner later. About a 10 minute drive to the KC zoo. The breakfast buffet (included) was wonderful, with many options, even for the pickiest eater. We'd definitely stay there again. Mehr

Stayed here recently for a business trip. Room was comfortable and in good condition, although, bathroom could have used some upkeep. However, was within walking distance of the plaza and lots of restaurants, which was convenient.

We reserved two rooms one with king size bed and one with two queen beds. When we arrived we were told they had given our reservation up even though reserved with credit card. He was rude and told us this is the only room available. It had one king bed and fold out bed. Our child had to sleep on fold out bed when we got back to hotel we noticed no sheets, […] blanket or pillows for fold out bed. We went to call and our phone did not work. He had to sleep on the couch with a blanket from our bed. He was very sore in the morning. When we came in from shopping and dinner we took off our shoes and numerous places in the room had wet carpeting. The wet carpeting caused the windows to fog in the morning. Our tile floor in the bathroom was sticky and we had to lay down towels. This is a terrible feeling. We brought this to the attention of the front staff. The front manager was going to let the manager of the hotel aware of our stay. We were to be contacted but as of today have not received any phone call. My husband stays at Marriots all over the country and has never had problems. We took our German exchange student, whom has never been to the US with us and were very disappointed with our stay. I have never written a bad review on a hotel. My wife and I both woke up with bug bites on our legs. This place is infested with bed bugs. Also you have to pay 20 dollars to park your car in there lot. Be wary of this KC hotel.

This hotel and it's staff are racist. When they saw myself along with 7 or 8 african american family come through their lobby on a Saturday night to play a ame of Monopoly, they panicked. Sent security to my room 3 times saying they were getting noise complaints and I quote saying " there are a lot of white people in this hotel". We were not being loud […] AT ALL and even after security came by the first time, we start literally whispering! I'm not pleased at all that management didn't do more but did say they were going to fire the security officer for his comments. This is one hotel I will not ever be staying at again. Even if they are in what's considered a classy part of town, they didn't act as such. How disappointing and sad. Mehr

Great time Great location Staff very nice first class all the way buffet breakfast was ok next time ill order off the menu, but it was free with my stay. Pay for veilt parking well worth it. Service was excellent, breakfast buffet was fresh and delicious, and our view of the Plaza was fabulous! This is a wonderful, friendly, service-oriented hotel that we will return to time and again!

Bad customer service

Very nice. Great neighborhood!

Our room never had trash can liners. Other than that I felt like the room was clean. Our main complaint was that the pool and hot tub were disgusting. This is a major downfall when it comes to going to a motel with children. They were all excited about going to the pool at the end of the day. We held it over their heads everytime they started to act […] bad saying "you better be good or you won't go to the pool tonight" Then come to find out when we do go that it is so gross that they can't even swim in it. I felt so sorry for them. The hot tub water was brown with a black ring of grime around the tub. The pool water was just as nasty. My husband takes care of a pool at an apartment complex and is pool certified. He looked at the paper work on the chlorine readings for the morining we were there and he said the chlorine level was way to low. This proposes many health hazzards in dealing with the spread of diseases and such. We definately were very unsatisfied and would not go back here to stay again. Mehr

Great hotel! Clean, nice large flatscreen TV's in rooms, nice pool, great fitness center. Excellent hotel, and Hotels.com's service was terrific, getting us this room at the last minute at a very competitive price!

I loved everything about the hotel. All of the employees of the hotel were exceptional. The breakfast was amazing and the hotel was within walking distance to the Plaza. We get home and then I notice a $14 charge on my card. Not much to freak out over, but I called the hotel and they said that it was for parking. I found that very odd that they didn't […] mention it to me and that it wasn't included in the price of the room. My boyfriend and I drove separately, so I could understand that he paid for parking, but I thought at least one car would park for free. A little irritating, I may find another hotel for this reason, but other than that it was a great place to stay! Mehr

Nice view of the Plaza. It would be good at Christmas time. Very nice staff. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast buffet was good.

Bathroom in room 716 smelled bad!

Really nice hotel had a great stay--- pool is a lap pool not good for kids.

I enjoyed my stay at hotel, the staff was nice and courtesy at arrival and departure. This is a nice and wonderful hotel to stay.

The only reason I chose the hotel was the pool which was very small and not what it looked like online. Just disappointed by it. The hotel was fine though.

Not at all as represented. Disappointed!

Eveyone on the staff went above and beyond their duties. The front desk made certain we were taken care of when we were looking for a place to dine after our late arrival. Then the housekeeping caught up with us with a small item left in the room ad we were departing. The only complaint....we were not able to get a late check out, but were told the […] hotel was sold out for the following evening and they apologized. I can live with that..... Mehr
