Very comfortable beds and pillows and I also liked that you can still get a smoking room available here. Staff is very friendly.

The sign in the lobby said they are completely remodeling the place this winter and it needs it! Room was outdated and not what we expected. But for the price still worth it.

provided a spacious room for little money...great staff, close to the airport but never heard any noise..plus I'm a smoker and they have rooms that allow you to smoke (very hard to find nowadays)...would definately reccomend and go back

Rate was good, room was clean, hotel was convenient, internet connection was poor.

The staff was friendly. Hotel was clean and well maintained. Price was good - pet fee was very reasonable.

There is no canopy over the front entrance. We arrived in the rain, and had to cart our luggage through the rain into the building. The room and bath were clean and spacious, but poorly arranged. Despite the size of the room, one side of the bed was almost pushed up against a wall with no place to deposit keys, glasses, flashlight, etc. Much of the […] space in the room and bath was simply wasted. There was no place to put suitcases, no luggage stands, no surfaces except in a chair and on the kitchen counter. The wireless Internet signal was weak (one bar), a point also noted in the hotel information booklet by a previous guest. The Internet was so slow as to be essentially useless; we eventually gave up and packed the computer away. The location is excellent for one night prior to flying out of O'Hare (minutes away), and there are a number of eating establishments and petrol stations within about one mile. It is also just off I-294 (Ilinois Tollway) with easy access. Mehr

The best thing about this hotel is its proximity to O'Hare hotel and the rates. The guest floor (3rd floor) and room had an offensive odor. Maybe it was the animals, I don't know. The room was not conducive for sleeping; the refrigerator was very noisy. To top it all off, there was this vaccuum cleaner noise that kicked off and on all night. The hotel is very clean, friendly staff, and best of all 24hr shuttle. We had a 5:30 am flight and took a 3 am shuttle. Very good to offer this for international travelers.

When it comes down to writing , i am not very good at it. I have stayed at multiple hotels and motels but given the price and what this place provides you in the room with their amenties is worth a lot.. I had an excellent time staying here. Although it was only for one night, the room was exceptional and the staff was very friendly and engaging. I have two minor complaints that are so minimal it may not even be worth considering when choosing your hotel. The first is that one of the sockets for plugging up my laptop was very loose. I almost thought […] I would jam my plug through the wall. The other is that it is kind of far from downtown, not terribly but definitely on the outskirts. This is good if you don't want to deal with the hustle and bustle of the city but bad if you plan on being downtown a lot. I will definitely be staying there again soon Mehr

One of the worst hotels I've ever stayed: old furnitures, scratched desk, dirty dishes, ancient tv with low-quality picture, and very crappy gym unlike in other Candlewoods. Most importantly a microwave in my room did not work, and they told me that they cannot fix it and replacement would take a few days . . . wow, nice quality of service. Also, they […] refused any refund due to the dysfunctional microwave. Besides, the area is not nice: warehouses and airport parkings; the closest grocery store is 4 miles away. I will certainly not come here again, especially that there are so many better hotels in the O'Hare area. Mehr

The staff at this hotel was exceptionally friendly. The room was adequate and very clean, and the price extremely reasonable. I would definitely recommend this hotel, and plan to stay here again in the future.

My husband and I needed a pet friendly hotel. This one was very accommodating! What we did not realize was how close we were to the rental car services around OHare. It very easy to return the car rental which we drove up from Kansas City with the dog since many airlines woukld not fly snub-nosed doigs!

Close to airport -- not too far from convention center. Comfortable room -- full kitchen. Maid service is only once per week, but you can swap out towels at the desk whenever you need them. Plenty of choices in the pantry. Both wired and wireless internet in the room. Comfortable desk and chair. I was very satisfied.

The hotel is close to the airport and does offer a shuttle. When checked in I was told the shuttle was by demand, if you have a morning flight be early as when I asked for the shuttle it was getting ready to pull out and was already full. Afer a quick ride over to the airport the driver drove past my airline check in which I had told him I was flying. […] he then got mad and stopped in the middle of the street so I had to dodge cars to get to the terminal. Other than that not a bad stay. I only stayed one night and it was close to the airport. If you are familiar with Candlewood Suites this is about the same as the rest. No breakfast, but they offer a pantry that you can purchase from and DVDs you ca borrow to take to your room. Based on loction I wouldnot stay many nights, but fine if you need a night by the airport. Mehr

I often take trips to check out different hotels and this hotel was beautiful. The staff was very friendly and my room was very comfortable. I even signed up for their priority rewards program. This is the best studio type hotel that I have ever been too.

The people were very friendly and helpful. The complimentary shuttle service was super convenient and much appreciated. The distance from the airport was unbeatable. The comfort and level of luxury were exactly as described. Definitely worth another stay.

all you need for a short stay and a quick transfer to O'Hare

Stayed here for two nights while attending a baseball camp at nearby Concordia College. Everything is easy to get too. If you need a place to stay before a flight from O"Hare, this is about as close to the runway as you can get without being on it. The suites have coffee makers but the in room coffee is what you would expect....bland. Luckily, there's […] a Dunkin Donuts about two minutes away. Yum. Mehr

The accessibility to locations and our family worked well. However, there was some kind of mechanical noise all night long - as if the mechancal room was next door or under our room. It was difficult to get to sleep, even though the beds were comfortable. Even though the rooms do not get daily cleaning, I would have liked to have rubbish removed and […] not had to purchase coffee packets each day. There was not a complimentary breakfast, but the hotel should at least give complimentary coffee or tea. This facility used to be another chain and we had stayed in it previously. We were pleased that Candlewood Suites did update the rooms and make them more comfortable. Mehr

Not a very nice area to stay. The hotel had a strong chemical odor. No complimentary breakfast. They did have a shop to purchase food, with prices that were reasonable. I requested 2 beds and only had 1 in the room (this may be the fault of Hotels.com). When I requested a cot, they didn't have one. Overall, the hotel deserves their 2 star rating.

We were impressed with this hotel from the moment we drove up. Well lit, clean parking lot, safe neighborhood. Inside, we were warmly greeted and quickly in our room. One light was out so they immediately moved us to the room next door. Their recommendation of a restaurant was a good one - and we enjoyed superb food. Finally, on arrival at home, […] we discovered that a glasses case and shirt had inadvertently been left behind. They fell all over themselves to find it and quickly get it in the mail to us... gratis. THAT is customer service... we'd go back there in a heartbeat! p.s. very convenient to O'Hare, too Mehr

Candlewood Suites are great places to say, comforts of home, friendly staff, and all the convience right on site.. I'm hooked on this chain and the price is great, expect me back..

Zeer goed onderhouden en redelijk nieuw hotel met een hoog serviceniveau. Als je van vliegtuigen houdt is het nabij O'Hare geen bezwaar. Wij hadden een kamer met uitzicht op de skyline van Chicago. Absolute aanrader.
