DoubleTree by Hilton Hartford - Bradley Airport - Windsor Locks

This was our second visit to this hotel. I happy to say that the second visit was as nice as the first. We were visiting our son at a college in Hartford. The staff is friendly and helpful. There is room service that is prompt and the food is good. I highly recommend this hotel.

IThe planned one night stay was a positive experience. The hotel was in great shape and the staff was helpful. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. I would ecommend the property to a friend. Weekend Traveler

Great amenities and service for the price. I've paid Much more for much less in my business travels. My only very minor complaint is my business partner got 2 free bottles of water in his room and I got none. $2.50 a bottle in the machine or front desk store kinda Miffed me. No biggie They also have a nice bar area with surprisingly good Food served […] until one in the morning. 20 minutes from downtown --- I'd stay here again for sure. Mehr

Quick check in with efficient and pleasant receptionist. Comfortable room. Clean. Some airport noise, but its Bradley, how bad can it be? Not expensive. Free internet (as it should be, take note Starwood Hotels). Did not eat or use any other facility in the hotel.

We were booked to stay over for one night just for a break from work. We ended up lossing power about two hours after we got there. Overall a nice clean place that was worth the price. Bar downstairs was a nice place to watch sports.

good locations very close to airport. Staff was very helpful. Would highly recommend for someone needing airport connection.

Good restaurant, nice hotel but the sewer gas ruined it for me. The pipes bubbled and made noises at night, enough to wake you up. Also, the maid did not replace the bath mat or the washcloths i had used.

On my second night at the hotel, I got a message to call the front desk. They wanted me to give them a credit card for the incidentals that occured. I told them I didnt have any, they told me I ordered room service and didnt pay, when I told them I paid the girl rudely said well do you have a receipt. It was for that morning when I left at 6am and wasnt […] there. I tried to contact the restuarant manager and was never called back. I feel that #1 I should of gotten a call back, and with room service that I did order I was not informed of all the service charges and the tip being included. I tipped on top of the bill not knowing this until it was too late. Also room service never had change even when I stated over the phone I would pay cash. The second night at the hotel was ruined due to the rudeness of the front desk agent and the restuarant not responding to me and I did call a few times. I didnt know it was a mistake until the next morning. Also I asked for a late check out, which in the room says there would be no problem, A huge amount of people checked out (buses with teams) so there was plenty of rooms available and I was told that I could only have an extra hour. I asked for two and the clerks obiously didnt want to help me. Why have it in the information that it wouldnt be a problem if it was. Mehr

I ordered fried calamari and clam chowder. the clam chowder tasted flat. The fried calamari was greasy and was mostly tenticles and very few rings. I usually love this dish but I couldn't finish it. I was disappointed for the cost

Wonderful stay, was given a warm cookie at check in, saw numerous flight crews coming & going via the hotel shuttle. Always a good sign when pro travelers choose the same hotel as you. A+.

We got in very late and arrived at the hotel to meet with an extremely rude employee at the front desk. She informed my co-worker and I that they did not have a room with two double beds (which we booked through hotels.com) and that we had no choice but to take one with a single bed. Easy, Comfortable, Affordable, Clean, What more do you need?

Booked room with 2 double beds. Got room with 1 king & pull out couch.Same price was not happy.

Very disappointing for a 2nd time! (also stayed at one in Burlington,Vt) The floor outside bathroom VERY damp and soggy our whole stay. Water coming out of bathroom sink was rust color Reserved a rollaway bed, got there and was told there wasn't one available. We had to argue with front desk to finally get what we were told was available to us. The […] only positive was the maintenence crew that brought rollaway bed, very polite, helpful and friendly!! This hotel was fantastic! Everyone who we encountered that worked there was so nice and accommodating. The restaurant was open passed 12, so although room service was closed we were able to get a delicious late night snack to go from the bar down stairs. We got in late the previous night and were hoping to sleep in, and this hotel was vary gracious […] in allowing us a late check out by a couple of hours. Best of all this hotel was affordable... yet we didn't have to sacrifice any comforts for this affordability. I will definitely go back to this hotel! Mehr

Hotel was clean & friendly but details missing. Door handle for bathroom was loose. Only 1 trash can in room. Waited 20 mins for towels to be brout to the pool section. Clock in pool area had not been set back to standard time &change took place 3 weeks ago. But had the Xmas tree up

Our doorknob fell off after we came back from dinner. Front desk staff and maintenance were responsive and fixed the knob quickly. Good service. Everything else was great - the free airport shuttle is a plus.

A very nice and pleasant place to stay. The room was nice and loved the little coffee maker in the room. Very clean and quiet and the restaurant and bar was very nice as well. We received warm fresh baked cookies when we arrived. It was a great stay. Will definitely stay there again.

We called for bedding for the sofa bed twice. It never came. The hotel was older but close to airport with shuttle service.

The hotel was lovely and the staff was terrific! Traveled with my family, including a 5 year old. The breakfast buffet was great, and the could not have been nicer to my child. Highly recommend this hotel.

This is an older hotel that is going through some upgrades. The room I stayed in had an upgraded bed and bathroom, but the carpet, furniture and paint were old. The door and walls had holes in them. There were cig. burns on the carpet and furniture. The room I was assigned was formerly a smoking room although the hotel is now smoke-free. Ask for an […] upgraded room if you stay here. The bed was awesome and the new bathroom are very nice. They recently opened a new bar that is fantastic. Lots of locals and travelers alike. Jeff the bartender was great. For the price this is a very nice hotel. Service is great and it's right off the highway and lots of things to do around such as bowling, pool and sixflags! and the cookies they give you when you check-in are GOOD!!

Bed was great, very nice bathroom amenities and towels, single-brue coffee maker in the room. We enjoyed pool and gym. Full breakfast in the morning is a great plus and we alwyas enjoy cookies at the check in. Would highly recommend.

Very nice hotel, we came to visit 6 Flags and based on the other comments decided to stay in that one. Comfortable beds, nice pool and work out room, great full breakfast, nice bathroom amenities. Great value for the money.

The hotel was VERY nice. The bed was so comfortable. The price was what put it over the top though. For the same price my brother in law stayed at a pretty seedy place!
