The hotel iteself was good enough but the staff at the front desk was not very friendly. The room features a lavatory-out design (sink is separate from the tub and toilet) so the bathroom door sort of gets in the way and makes the bathroom less ventilated. The hotel was nice and clean and the staff was friendly. So I have noting but nice things to say about their service and facilities. However had I known I would have asked for a room on the pool side as it was my room overlooked the Applebees which would have been fine in and of itself but I heard fire truck sirens at least once a night and some nights […] more often. The jacuzzi was taped off with caution tape the day we arrrived, so we couldn't enjoy it. We had 3 people in our room which included breakfast. The morning we had breakfast my two friends were already having breakfast, then I checked in to have breakfast. When I finished breakfast they told me only two breakfast was free. They could of told me when […] I checked in with waitress, you have to give your room number and name, so it wasn't like they didn't know two people had already eaten, I was just joining my friends I only had a small muffin and two pieces of bacon because I wasn't really there to eat. An excellent property conveniently located off of Interstate 10, but far enough away to be very quiet. Several good restaurants close by and a small shopping center within walking distance. Very good full breakfast buffet available. Great property that I will use again!

The hotel was okay enough for a brief stay. It seemed a little run-down, but clean, etc. Staff nice. The breakfast, though, was not great. Not much variety and it didn't look very appetizing.

We certainly would return to this hotel if we are in the area again, provided we could be assured our room was not on the front side of the building. The traffic on Frank Sinatra Drive doesn't really die down at night. An optional hot breakfast was offered for a few extra dollars when we booked. It was well worth the money.

Staff very approachable and made our stay extra special. The hotel facilities are excellent and the breakfast more than ample.

I would stay here again. I needed a hotel just for a night and this location was pretty good. It is close to the interstate without being on top of it, there is a Starbucks and other quick food nearby, and it was a quick drive to the main restaurants downtown. While it seemed like an older property, I would say its up to Courtyard standards. The room […] was on the smaller side, but easily sufficient and it had a nice flat screen TV. Too expensive for a very basic service. Internet should be wireless.

This was a very nice hotel with a free breakfast. The food was yummy. We checked in at 11 pm and was woken up at 3am with a false alarm and seven fire trucks. I guess a guest smelled a fire in the air and thought it was the hotel. It was a controlled fired outside. We all had to leave our rooms and go outside for an hour and half. The hotel was so apologetic […] and told us we could sleep in as long as we wanted. And we did. LOL.. Mehr

I have been visiting the desert routinely for the past 5 years and this was my first stay at the Courtyard. I found it disappointing. Unlike most Courtyards which have been renovated, this Courtyard is in poor condition and does not have the normal Courtyard amenties of a refrigerator and a microwave. Additionally, there is no place to eat in the hotel […] although there is an Applebee's next store. Rooms were small and unimpressive and linen looked and felt dirty. Mehr

Comfortable, clean and quiet! Very nice experience.

Had a very pleasant stay, can improve on the ironing board the cover was very old and had no cushion. Had breakfast at the restaurand was pretty good, pay attention to keeping the floors clean. Thank you.

The air in the room barely worked:( We got there and the air wasn't to cool. We tried to turn it down while we were out for the evening and when we got back it was still really warm. There was no central air- only a wall unit. This would be great in winter but it just didn't cut it in 105 degree heat in summer.

For sure, it was off-season, and before the extreme heat of summer, but still, the Courtyards was a good choice for the dollar. Marriott takes special pride in their product, and it shows. The hotel was very nice. The staff was great . The hotel and the room was one of the cleanest I have ever stayed at, however, it took me until almost check out time to figure out how the heck to work the thermostat to get the air conditioning to come on. It made for the most uncomfortable night imaginable. When I called the desk, they put me on hold. […] At the very least I would suggest instructions posted on how to do it. Mehr

over rated hotel. Showed discriminatory behavior for the room assingment. First night room was over the lobby. Very noisy and could not get any sleep for the very high price that we paid for the room.When asked to be moved, staff did not show immidiate care. The hotel is not in a great location. It doesn't have a restaurant besides breakfast and no room service. The pool is nice, but when we went down there, the pool towels were like hand towels. I would call this hotel, camping with a bed. Stayed at the Embassey Suites in PD 2x's and thought this place would be of similar. Would never stay again. this is a smaller hotel located away from the main drag of Palm Springs but close enough to acttivites such as El Paseo. It is right off the Cook exit on the 10 on Frank Sinatra Drive. The staff were all very accomodating and we loved our room on the third floor facing the golf course next door. I would stay away from the side by the 10 since you might […] hear some traffic noise. There was a nice simple pool and a big plus was the great full breakfast they put on that was included in the room. It is a peaceful getaway--nothing really fancy but just nice. Mehr

It was nice having Applebees right next door. Hotel was very clean and easy to find.

The bedding and pillows were really old. Kinda creepy when you think how many have slept on pillows and bedding that old. THere was a dried up contact in the bathrrom floor (that stayed there after they cleaned the room again one day) corners were really dusty and dirty. They advertized wireless and there was non in the rooms. The cable for internet […] was really short and the internet was painfully slow. It was tough to do business. THe pool was fine, thone spa had half the water gone and bugs floating in the spa. So low the filter couldnt even filter. I owul never stay there again. Way too much money for what we got. Very disappointed. We also slipped in the shower (and were not old) and asked for a mat and never got it. THe soap made is extremly slippery. We ended up puting a towel down in the shower. Mehr

close to hwY. 10, very convenient location, friendly and competent staff, clean room, very good value.

Very nice and new place in an expanded area of Palm Desert. It's a bit away from everything if you want that, but there are some nearby places to grab a bite or a drink.

Dirty and noisy. They stuck me in a room next to the maid closet. They started opening and closing the door and removing stuff at 7am. Breakfast was included in my room fee but I didn't eat due to how dirty my room was. One of my pillows had make-up or blood on it. Couldn't tell. Luck for me I brought my own pillows. I'll pay $50 more and stay at a […] better hotel next time. Mehr

My stay was very enjoyable. The only concern I had was the back door that was supposed to be accessed with a kay card was broken and was continually open. I brought it to the registration attendant's attention.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! DO NOT STAY HERE!

Everything was as expected, except that there was no In-room fridge.

The room smelled like pets had been in it. The bedding was dated. (I sell linen for a living, so I'm very critical of it) My key would work in some outside doors but not all. Inconvenient. Air Co stopped working at 3am. Fortunatly it was windy outside and we had a big window.
