Staybridge Suites San Antonio - NW Colonnade - San Antonio

I've stayed at other Staybridge Hotels, but, this one is a bit difficult to get to, if you miss the exit, good bye!!! Place is sort of hidden. The place is a bit pricey, but, well worth it. Wish my Senior discount would have been honored. Oh well, better luck next time. I called for directions and was pleased to get good directions and be asked for my name so she could validate my room was ready when I arrived. She asked if I was aware of the "turning on of the lights" on the river walk and was very pleasant. She was quick to help me with my request for late checkout too!

I searched for two days to find a hotel that would occupy 6 with privacy for two adults. I decided to try Hotel.com and they recommended Staybridge. The interior and service was outstanding. Perfectly fit the requested accomodation and privacy for the teen boys to feel comfortable away from me and my wife and not disturbing out young one while he took […] a nap. The room was clean and customer service was great. The only thing I didn't agree with was housekeeping only comes in to sweep and vaccum the floors only if you stay there for 7 days. Another thing is that if housekeeping only comes in every 7 days, cleaning supplies should be handy for the attendants to clean up themselves. Other than that, my family […] and I enjoyed our stay. I was really pleased with the accommodations and the complimentary breakfast and coffee! The staff was also very helpful and respectful, especially during such a stressful event as a wedding!

The outside of the hotel is misleading. Once we were in the room disappointment set in. Had to wear shoes all the time because the carpet would make your feet black. Noise was an issue, walls are very thin. We had a 2 bdm suite and we could hear everything in all the nearby rooms. No sercurity to help with the situation.

This hotel itself is a fine hotel and one that I feel ok recommending. It is clean, has a good variety of hot/cold food at the breakfast buffet, a nice pool, a basketball court with a ball to borrow, movies to borrow, etc. Before you book, however, do your research. A "standard suite" is actually a small hotel room and not a suite at all. There is not […] any separation between the bedroom and the sofa, just one not very big room. Difficult quarters for a family, so consider a one bedroom. Also, if you stay here, make sure to request that you are not placed in rooms 135, 136 or 137. These rooms are just off the lobby and surrounded by the business center, the guest laundry, the fitness center, house keeping and maintenance. As a result, the room was quite loud. Mehr

We asked the front desk if there was a Chinese restaurant nearby; they not only gave us directions but called the restaurant to be sure they were open on Sunday night. Heat/Cooling was quieter than in most hotels.

I was trully amazed with this hotel. It is located really close to Fiesta Texas. And has many stores close by. The hotel itself provides a cozy experience and confortable suites with everything you may need to have a pleasant stay.So anyone is considering a great place to stay with the family. THIS hotel will be The BEST option with the best value.

this is our second time to stay with Staybridge and both times we have enjoyed it. the hotel is quiet and the rooms are nice. Big enough for my family of 3. Breakfast was great and the staff was great. We will continue to use them

For the deal we got, we were super-impressed. The hotel offers not only extended-stay suites, breakfast, and other standard hotel amenities, but they do so after apparently having just finished remodelling, so everything is shiny and new. Also, an added bonus: they have a free "sundowners" dinner on Tuesday thru Thursday nights. Great bargain!

We stayed in a one bedroom suite which was nice and had all you could need for comfort and a fully equipped kitchen. My complaints were that the cleaning crew could've done a better job in my opinion. On 2 different days our garbage wasn't even taken out from the trashcans. I had to go take it out myself and get bags. I was also very disappointed that […] the business center had 2 computers and were constantly being used by young children who were not being supervised. This was brought to mgmt.'s attention, but I never saw I change when I was there. These were young unsupervised children being chaotic and eating and drinking around the computers. I didn't care for that very much. I brought my laptop for the internet service in the room, but forgot my ESB cable. Most places I've stayed at have them. No big deal there except I couldn't use the business center ever. Kids were also in the gym constantly unsupervised. Most of the children I saw looked about 6-10 running around. I think I would go back and stay at the Homewood Suites by Hilton across the street. I was much happier there and the service was by far superior. Mehr
