We were very pleased with the hotel. We had called the day before to say we would not be arriving until after midnight. The message had been passed on and the very pleasant desk clerk (at 12:30 am) knew our name and quickly processed out paper work so we could get to bed! Breakfast was great and the service was very good, but the walls of the rooms were incredibly thin. Normal conversations in the hall and in adjacent rooms sounded like they were in the room with me. "Good place to stay."
I did not experience any problems. The room was clean, the air conditioner worked well (it was 92 degrees outside), and the bed, bedding and towels were of a higher quality than most places I have stayed. The breakfast was excellent! The first morning, I was there early and was pleasantly surprised. The second morning, I slept in and got there in the […] final hour, hoping there was something left. "Weekend of Golf"
We have stayed in many Holiday Inn's and Express hotels. This location was very convenient for our golf weekend. There are many courses surrounding the area and only a short drive to Geneva on the Lake. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast buffet had a variety of items to choose from. We had fun swimming in the pool, was only dissappointed […] that the whirlpool was under construction and was not operating then. Overall, a great stay and would recommend this location to others. We stayed at this motel because my daughter wanted to swim for her birthday present , 2 adults decided they wanted to do the nasty and thought they were being secret , staff was told and nothing was done after the couple left til there was bodily fluids floating in the pool then it was shut down, my children were very upset they couldnt swim anymore […] and we only live 15 min away if we just wanted to sleep somewhere we wold have stayed home, so when I spoke to the manager and asked to make it right she was very sarcastic and mean and would only refund 25 bucks of my stay, so now I have to make it right with my daughter and stay somewhere else now and pay again THANKS for the safety but no thanks on the attitude!!!!!! The hotel looked brand new and was as neat as a pin. The staff made great recommendations for restaurants and the complimentary breakfast was very good and saved us time and money.
