wir hatten mit einem 5-Sterne-Komfort gerechnet. Letztlich waren es allerdings nur 4-Sterne. das Hotel ist in die Jahre gekommen. Die Lage war allerdings für uns sehr gut. Gute Restaurants direkt am Strand (Gordo und Lala Land) und nicht weit in die Altstadt von Jaffa. Frühstück im Hotel prima.

Die Lage ist Top, das Hotel selber hat aber nicht ganz unsere Erwartungen erfüllt. Wir mussten fast 3 Stunden auf die Suite warten. Es gab dann technische Mängel, z.B. nicht abschliessbare Toilettentür oder eine Zimmerkarte, die nicht funktioniert hat. Anscheinend funktioniert die Technick öfters nicht, weil an der Rezeption andere verärgerte Gäste […] das selbe bemängelt haben. Die Räume waren oberflächlich gereinigt. Die ganze Etage war voll mit Werkzeugen und Utensilien aller Art. Das Frühstück war ok, aber es gibt Besseres in anderen vergleichbaren Hotels in Israel. Der Nachschub am Buffet hat nur schwer geklappt. Am Freitag Abend war das Essen eher bescheiden. Das Personal and der Reception und im Restaurant war nicht freundlich, im Gegensatz zum Personal auf der Exekutive Etage. Generell, die Organisation im Hotel ist sehr mühsam, überall muss man warten. Für 3 Tage war es knapp noch ertragbar. Länger möchte ich einen Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel niemandem empfehlen. Wir hatten sowohl eine Suite wie auch ein Executive Zimmer für unseren Sohn gebucht. This hotel is situated on the beach and a short walk from the cenre of Tel Aviv. It has recently been renovated in 1930 Tel Aviv style although not all rooms have been decorated. Rooms are very comfortable and there is a very good Israeli breakfast. Staff helpful and friendly. Easy to get to all sights and restaurants.

The Hotel advertised there would be bathrobes In rooms- no bathrobes. The bathroom in our Room needed modernizing. Otherwise the Hotel is very conveniently located on the beach and near major shopping area like Ben Yehudah and Dizengoff streets.

As we arrived to the hotel - the room was ready (before time) and we were very impressed. we went up to the room (keys didn't open the door so went down to redo the keys). after one hour waiting for the suitcases we decided to go to have lunch - we found our luggage exactly in the same position we left it - down in the lobby. on the trolly. we kindly […] asked for someone to take it up and went out. the next experience was when coming, with my car in the middle of the night - when it was raining and was asked to park the car by myslef (I paid for parking and the sevice is including a service of parking the car for me) the most annoying thing was when we decided to leave the hotel to the Crowne Plaza City center (A+) we had to wait 45 minutes for someonw to come and assist with the luggage. after 45 minutes, 2 calls and one personal trip to the reception, we gave up and carried our 4 suitcases down to the car. once again the hotel disappoited us when there was no person availble to retrieve the car so we had to carry the suitcases to the car by ourselves... Well I was looking for something quiet & closer to the sea. Got it at Herods. Just that the cars zipping past at the Marina don't really make it quiet, but it's alright. It is a nice, well maintained hotel & I stayed there for just a night. It was comfortable & the room had a lovely view.

The staff was friendly and helpful and the newly remodeled rooms were charming. Staying in the Club Rooms is recommended because you get access to the Lounge on the 17th Floor and free WiFi. We had a nice view of the sea and could walk to many destinations. We even walked to Old Jaffa, but it was a bit of a hike.

Although you read that the hotel has been full refurbished they dont mention the hotel has change hands several times in a number of years. Yes the lobby and restaurant areas have had a face lift but the rooms, well mine certainly hadnt. Very dated, very poor quality.

Very thin walls in the room.

Check in to the hotel was fast and simple and the bell boy was extremely fast in arranging for my suitcases to be taken to my room. I was assigned a twin room, and asked to be moved to a double room, this was done quickly and efficiently. Upon arriving to my second room, I noticed there were some small cleanliness issues (hairs on pillow, fingerprints […] on balcony door, desk area etc) and after mentioning this to the front desk, they were able to move me to a different room. The next room was the same and did not meet the standards I would have expected from a 4-5 star recently renovated hotel. I found one front desk member in particular to be extremely rude when processing my requests as she spoke about me to another member of staff right in front of my face!! My new room was fine, clean enough, however I am disappointed that I was not allocated one of the newly renovated rooms, something I was looking forward to after looking at pictures on their website. The pool area is small and in the shade for most of the day, however there is a door leading on to the beach which was convenient. The hotel breakfast was fabulous and extremely tasty, not to mention overlooking a lovely view of the beach from the dining area. Ordering room service was simple, however when requesting one of the cold drinks on the menu, I was spoken to as if I was mad and told that they do not serve that drink (the drink is very popular and is found everywhere in Israel). My food arrived quickly and was very tasty. The hotel is very well located and I would consider staying there again if I was able to get a similar rate to my first visit. Mehr

i stayed in a room that was not renovate as the hotel web site and pictures promised and for that kind of room the price was way too much. the internet charge is high and worked very poorly.

Newly remodeled, great location - close to the beach. Breakfast Buffet was impressive and delicious. I can definitely recommend it.

Stayed here for one night after Hotels.com had a one day sale on this property. Booked a club room to have access to the lounge and I was not disappointed. I spoke to Rottem in the lounge before arrival and she could not have been more helpful and friendly! She allocated us the room next to the 17th floor lounge which was fantastic, the staff in the […] lounge were so great, and there is a wide range of drinks and food available, as well as two PCs and a printer. The access to the beach is great, and the beach in this area is amazing. The breakfast was perfect, with a wide selection (and a very nice and helpful mashgiach-kosher supervisor) Upon checkout, I asked them in the lounge to have the cases picked up from outside my room, and also my car brought round, when I got downstairs, it was all loaded in the car already…great service. My only complaints are that the pool was closed, although I think that was a one off one day issue, and that to get back to the hotel from the beach, one has to go all the way round. Other then this it was a great stay, and I would definitely try and go back. Room Tip: Take a club room, they are nicely refurbished and the lounge is worth it. Mehr

Staff was very informative and helpful. The only problems were printing on the computer and the bedside lamps did not work. The morning breakfast buffet is by far the best I have ever seen.

Clean hotel with friendly staff. Pool is a big dissappointment but not so important as the beach is not far away.Other hotels in the area are cheaper and also quite near the beach. Would stay somewhere less expensive next time.

Hotel staff very friendly.Wonderful position and excellent breakfast!(The best hotel breakfast we have had!)Room-a bit disappointing-bedside lamps didn't work,toilet didn't flush well,we had to call a few times for towels. However,on the whole ,we had a lovely holiday!

Just spent 8 nights here and I have to say I was very pleased with pretty much everything. The room was nice, clean and comfortable, with comfortable bed. The service was very friendly and courteous. Breakfast was good. Location is great! The main reason I'm giving this 4 stars is because of shoddy internet connection in the room. It was bad! It's […] expensive and very slow. Several times I couldn't even connect. We all know internet connectivity is fundamental, so they really need to do something about that. Mehr

We wanted a hotel with a pool near to the beach. The hotel was decent enough, although the pool area was small and not in the sun all day. The best thing about it is that it's right on the beach with steps down to the shore from the pool. If I was to go again I would stay in one of the cheaper, newer hotels one road back from the sea (still only 2 minutes' […] walk) and since they don't have a pool the price is considerably cheaper. Highly recommend but make sure to order cot and towels in advance. Great lounge and breakfasts.

Excellent overall hotel including outstanding service throughout the 6 night stay. The breakfast tables were delightful and full of great food. The staff was very attentive to our needs. The room was great, spacious, clean and inviting. I would recommend this hotel to all , family and friends anytime. Thank you for the great time we had there!

i have been their when it was Renascence hotel and i must say that i was pleased from the renovation they did . the hotel looks real good and like all other hotel managed by Reffi sadde you can see they look into all the little things to make your stay enjoyable

This is one of the few quality hotels on the Tel Aviv seafront offering rooms with space for a family with two young children (2 and 6 months in our case) without charging extortionate suite or two room rates. Service is excellent and friendly (particularly towards little ones) and food variety and quality up with the best Israel offers. All this is […] complemented by a modern gym, good pool with beach access and efficient valet parking. Great service (especially towards young children), valet parking, nice interior design, excellent food (breakfast & lunch), nice but slightly cold pool. Room good and spacious, though ours came with shower only - a bit more challenging for washing babies. Dans l'ensemble le service est bon juste une petite fausse note, les femmes de chambres faisaient bien les lits mais ne completaient pas toujours les accesssoires de la salle de bain, serviettes, tapis de bain, papier toilette manquaient parfois, mais la reception réagissait tres rapidement aux réclamations. Замечательный отель для отдыха, удобное расположение на берегу моря и близко к центру. Очень понравилась экскурсия в Иерусалим, заказанная в отеле)))

Ikke verdt så mange stjerner. Meget bra beligenhet, men slitt hotell.

La stanza, modesta, non era quella mostrata al momento della prenotazione e conferma. La foto della camera rimodernata viene usata per loro stessa ammissione per tutte le prenotazioni su Internet. In realtà le camere non sono per niente nuove tranne quelle ai piani più elevati. Quando ho chiesto di assegnarmi la stanza per la quale avevo pagato mi è […] stato chiesta una tariffa aggiuntiva in modo piuttosto antipatico e scortese. Per quanto mi riguarda il personale alla reception non è stato certamente cortese e professionale. Servizio nelle camere scadente, dopo due giorni ho dovuto chiamare perchè non mettevano asciugamani e prodotti. Camera non pulita, bagno per niente pulito. Prezzo della camera sproporzionato rispetto al servizio offerto. Posizione buona, praticamente sulla spiaggia e vicina a tutti gli altri hotel più importanti. Colazione a buffet abbondante in un ambiente enorme tipo mensa. Ad Agosto una specie di caccia al tavolo libero. Mehr

Отель Herods в Тель-Авиве расположен в первой береговой линии рядом с центром города. Отдыхали с семьей в июле, очень жарко, отель переполнен, иногда проблема с лифтами. Приедается шведский стол, нет разнообразия. Если хотите остановиться в отеле, бронируйте номер на 17 этаже, это дороже, зато там есть Бизнес-лаунж, можно кушать и пить напитки (не оплачивая […] дополнительно) в течение всего дня, полноценный завтрак, обед и ужин. Vi var en familie afsted, og vi nød dette hotel. Hotellet har en fed beliggendhed, hotellet er godt men også dyrt, men vi synes det var det værd. Poolen er lille og god. Fredag og lørdag er der booket, fordi der holder de deres weekend, medens der alle de andre dage, var rigtig god plads, selvom det var i sommerferien. Vi kommer tilbage dertil

The hotel is very noisy; a big road with a lot of traffic runs beside it. Swimming pool is quite claustrophobic, but the hotel has a direct access to the beach. Excellent breakfast buffet.

Чистый, светлый отель, доброжелательная атмосфера, грамотный персонал, есть открытый бассейн с выходом на пляж, услуги СПА, на каждом этаже бизнес-Лаундж, где можно есть и пить в течение целого дня (очень удобно, когда не успеваешь с обедом или ужином).
