Das Mediterranean Inn liegt etwas außerhalb des Zentrums Seattles in der Nähe des Seattle Centers (mit Space Needle). Es ist bequem per Bus (tageszeitabhängiger Preis zwischen $2,25 und $2,50) zu erreichen. Gleich nebenan ist ein Starbucks, dessen Kaffeeduft in die Lobby des Hotels zieht. Unser Zimmer war mit einer Mikrowelle, Spüle und einem Kühlschrank sowie großen Flachbildschirm ausgestattet. Leider hatte es keinen Safe, was aber nicht schlimm war. Das Bad war sauber und groß. Leider ohne Fenster. Der Ausblick aus dem Zimmer ging in den Innenhof des Hotels. Schade aber nicht so schlimm, denn die Dachterrasse des Hotels erlaubt einen Blick über Seattle. Die Angestellten des Hotels machten einen netten und hilfsbereiten Eindruck und haben uns auch um 4 Uhr morgens bei unsere Abreise geholfen. Das Hotel verfügt über WLAN und ein Business Center. Das WLAN ist für $5 pro Tag nutzbar und kann mit einem Fahrradausleihprogramm (in Summe $7,99) kombiniert werden. Im Sommer bestimmt sehr sinnvoll. Das Business Center ist kostenlos nutzbar (ebenso wie die Drucker und Faxgeräte darin). Außerdem verfügt das Hotel über einen Fitnessraum und diverse Münzwaschmaschinen und Trockner). Noch etwas zur Umgebung. In unmittelbarer Nähe (3-5 min zu Fuß) sind diverse Restaurants, Kneipen und auch ein Kino. Ebenso wie ein Safeway Supermarkt.

Komfortable großzügige Zimmer, unseres mit komplett eingerichteter Küche. Sehr gutes Frühstücksbuffet mit Obst, Joghurt, Müsli etc. Minishop und ebenfalls ein kleiner Starbucks sind auch im Hotel vorhanden. Die Lage ist der einzige Minuspunkt für uns gewesen, da sehr weit vom Innenstadtbereich entfernt (zu Fuß ca. 25 Minuten). Ebenfalls direkt an der Interstate gelegen, somit 24 Stunden die Autos zu hören.

Die Klimaanlage in dem Zimmer musste den ganzen heizen, damit es abends nicht zu kalt wird. Das Bad wurde gar nicht von der Wärme gar nicht betroffen und war entsprechend frisch.

Lage
Red Roof Inn Seattle Airport liegt in Flughafennähe in SeaTac in der Nähe von: Tyee Valley Golf Course, Westfield Southcenter und Hydroplane & Raceboat Museum.
Ausstattung
Ein kostenloser W-LAN-Internetzugang steht in den öffentlichen Bereichen zur Verfügung. Außerdem steht Folgendes zur Verfügung: Fitnessmöglichkeiten, Wäscherei und Kaffee in der Lobby. Der Flughafen Seattle-Tacoma ist etwa 30 Minuten von der Innenstadt Seattles und Tacomas entfernt. Dieses Viertel ist nicht weit von mehreren öffentlichen Parks und den lebhaften südlichen Außenbezirken Seattles entfernt, zu denen auch Kent, Federal Way und Renton zählen. Boeing Field und das Museum of Flight befinden sich nördlich des Flughafens.

Das Red Roof Inn ist ca. 7 Gehminuten vom Seattle Airport entfernt. Obwohl wir ein Zimmer zur Straßen- & Flughafenseite hatten haben wir sehr wenig vom Verkehrslärm mitbekommen so lange das Fenster zu war. Zu den Vorteilen gehören kostenloser Kaffee / Tee in der Lobby, kostenloser WLAN-Internetzugang im Zimmer, Fernseher & Klimaanlage im Zimmer; Parkplätze […] sind wohl auch kostenlos für Gäste. Per Direktwahl am Zimmertelefon kann man sich auch was zum Essen bei einem lokalen Italiener bestellen. Für Seattleurlauber ist dieses Motel (in Takoma) auch zu empfehlen, in 7 Gehminuten ist man am Soundtransit, einer Schnellbahn, die bis ins Zentrum von Seattle fährt: Kosten max. 5,50$ für die Tageskarte pro Person (Oktober 2011), Fahrtzeit 30 Minuten bis in die Innenstadt. Das einzige was wir vermissten war ein Kühlschrank und eine Mikrowelle im Zimmer, das war auch alles. Mehr

"Very convenient"
For a few hours of stay that is very close to the airport and a friendly driver and front desk and great price. What else you can ask for.

Easy to get to, nice parking, great front desk personnel and hot tea or coffee at all times. Beds comfortable, bath clean and loved the floor.
The front desk attendant was awesome and very friendly, definately not expected at such a cheap hotel

Clean and remodeled room, but notting fency. Not really friendly, but not rude staff...It's good if you are looking for a budget hotel.

Dogs are allowed in this hotel and the room directly above us had a dog running around, back and forth all night long......didn't get a very good night of sleep.
"Don't expect too much"
The location near the airport for a late landing and/or early departure can't be beat, however that is about ALL this hotel is good for. There were some guests up all night above us so get a high floor. The parking lot exit/entrance is filthy so use the main entrance. There's a Denny's walking distance to eat if you have no other options. Don't look […] under the bed, Ick! I wouldn't risk taking a bath. The cleaning people were super nice, i had to ask for extra towels as they are super thin and they only give you a couple. The front desk people were kind as well. My red roof number didn't apply since i didn't book directly so make a note of that if you're expecting reward points. If you're doing anything else other than getting a night's sleep then look elsewhere, otherwise can't beat it for the money. Mehr
"Better than I thought"
I was expecting to get what I paid for and nothing more than that, what I got was a fair step above. Freindly staff at the counter, clean and comfortable room, still this isn't a anything more than a layover place to crash for the night. My only 2 issue with this property are 1. noise from hallways come right through the doors and 2. vending machines […] take change or CC/debit only and neither was a option for me(walk next door to the cheveron instead). I'll stay here again if only because of the price and a easy location. Mehr

"One Night Only"
You get what you pay for. Conveniently close to airport but not to any restaurants. Closest was Denny's. Hotel is in sad condition. There was a musty smell in hallways and room. Heater did not work. A last resort hotel. Shuttle was great.

"Red Roof Inn 'Deluxe' Room"
We stayed at the Redroof Inn on Friday the 13th April, 2012. We checked in late and were given a room in which the toilet was broken and ran all night long while we tried to sleep. I spent a little extra money booking what was supposed to be a deluxe room, but it was a cave and the upstairs neighbour walked up and down our ceiling all night while […] the traffic noise from International Blvd roared through our room. When we asked for our money back, the clerk refused because we'd booked online through Hotels.com. We will never stay here again. There are a lot of hotels in the area including the Sleep Inn which has similar prices and which is much better run, newer and more service oriented. The Red Roof's single attraction is that it is almost directly across the street from Sea Tac, but it's not worth it. Mehr
"Nice and clean and convenient"
This was just what I needed after a long flight. The reception area, elevator and hallways are a little shabby and there is a mildew smell but the rooms are clean, bright and smell fresh. The price was right and the bed was comfortable . Location and shuttle from the airport are great. I would recommend it.

"Suprisingly large room"
Enjoyed out stay in this hotel. Actually preferred it to the La Quinta that we stayed in the following nights. The La Quinta just down the road had much smaller rooms and was less comfortable. This hotel was our choice for a lower price stay for a few days before our event. The local hotel tax is less than similarly priced hotels in the surrounding […] area which is a nice bonus. Mehr
This was not a fancy hotel, but my room was spotless and very comfortable. All the staff were pleasant and helpful. Since I was tired when I arrived, I was delighted to learn that a gas station right night door had reasonably priced sandwiches and drinks that I could purchase and eat in my room.

I wasn't expecting any more than a decent place to sleep near the airport and it did the job. We had a long wait for the shuttle on the way to the hotel so we just walked back to the airport the next day.

"Red Roof Sea-Tac - Horrible mattresses!"
Our April 2012 stay was different than our February 2012 stay. In February we had a King Bed Room. It was comfortable and the room was clean. In April, the carpets felt dirty under foot, the bedding didn't look the cleanest, and the queen bed sagged terribly in the middle. Even though the price is outstanding and the shuttle to the airport is on-time, […] courteous and fast -- we probably won't stay again -- don't want to gamble with a good night's sleep. Mehr
"needs fixing up"
hotel looked very well used, I fix the towel rod, as so the towels would stay on them, the shower curtain was also hanging from the wall, so very need of a painting.

Worked well for us as an affordable place to sleep (not much else). Walls are a little thin, but overall were completely satisfied with the cleanliness and size of the room.

"good location for Seattle airport"
Convenient location; a short walk to the light rail from downtown Seattle. Shuttle service to the airport was frequent and speedy. Building was a bit worn and the hallways had a funny smell, but the room was very clean and comfortable. Good value, perfect for an overnight by the airport.
"Dirty room"
The hotel was in a good location. When we got there the room looked clean, but the sheets were stained. They did get us new sheets. The shower was very slow to drain and you had to stand in water to shower. During the evening one of the cars in the parking lot was burglarized. I would not recommend the hotel.
