I was really happy about the hotel. Negative point is, that the subway stations around the hotel are closed for repair. But there is a bus shuttle, starting at North Station every 10 minutes. I had a wonderful view over Charles river...

Das Hotel liegt in Cambridge am Charles-River in unmittelbarer Nähe eines Einkaufszentrum, wo man seine Shopping-Bedürfnisse erfüllen und z.B bei Starbucks ein kleines Frühstück einnehmen kann. Wir sind bei gutem Wetter einen sehr schönen Weg am Fluss entlang nach Boston gelaufen, was mit Unterbrechungen 20 - 30 Minuten dauerte. Die nächste U-Bahn ist […] ca. 10 Minuten weit entfernt, weswegen wir abends ein Taxi genommen haben (15 $). Besonders positiv ist uns das Essen sowohl in der Bar als auch im Restaurant aufgefallen. Die Lage am Wasser, mit den Booten usw. ist schön, die U Bahn und eine Einkaufsmall mit Macy und Apple store usw. in der Nähe und der schöne Blick auf die Stadt machten den Aufenthalt sehr angenehm.

Das Zimmer war etwas dunkel. Das Zimmer wurde mit River view gebucht. Das war aber kaum gegeben. Durch eine dreckige Fensterscheibe und einen Baum konnte man kaum etwas sehen. Ansonsten war das Hotel gut. Die Parkgebühren waren sehr hoch 30 $ pro Nacht.

Das Hotel liegt direkt am Charles River mit schönen Blick auf Boston. Shopping Mall direkt neben dem Hotel. Viel Comfort zu fairem Preis.

The Royal Sonesta Hotel hat uns in allen Punkten sehr gut gefallen. Am Charles River gelegen ist es nicht zu weit, um Beacon Hill zu Fuss zu erreichen (ca 30min.) und um die Ecke befindet sich die Haltestelle des "hop on hop off" Tourbus, der rund um die Stadt führt. Auch das Schwimmbad im Hotel war für unsere Jugendlichen eine ideale Abwechsung. Auch […] dasPersonal war immer diskret präsent und gab uns jederzeit nützliche Tipps für unseren Aufenthalt. für Boston recht teures Valet-Parking.

Sehr kurze Distanz zum Zentrum von Boston und ideal erreichbar mit der Green-Line. Entweder über Sciencepark oder NorthCenter beim DGarden. Direkt gegenüber vom Hotel befindet sich ein Macys und auch die Distanz zum Flughafen ist sehr gering. Taxipreis ca. 25-26 $.

Neu renovierte und top moderne Zimmer; etwas ausserhalb des Zentrums von Boston gelegen, aber mit Taxi nur ca. 5 Minuten bis Farmers Markt, zu Fuss ca. 1/2 Stunde; grosses Einkaufszentrum mit guten und preiswerten Restaurants gleich nebenan; grosser Indoorpool mit Sportgeräten; gutes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis

Super Hotel, jedem zu empfehlen. Jederzeit wieder gerne.

Staff were mostly friendly & helpful. I was on a trip w my 3yr old & 1yr old daughters along w my father to visit family in Cambridge. Hotel location was super convenient w mall across the street & science museum down the street. Valet parking was nice. convenient to Mass General Hospital. Easy to get to from Mass Pike. Excellent service and restaurant in hotel.

I stayed here just for one night when I was in town for business. The hotel was a great location and very comfortable. I would come back again no doubt.

Lovely modern hotel with comfortable, attractive rooms. Indoor pool spectacular with a high ceiling and lots of space, good fitness room. Take some points off for the noise level in the room: ice machine on one side, service elevator on the other, high-pitched whine coming from somewhere. Nothing special.

Very modern, well maintained hotel. Everyone was great and I would recommend it to anyone who want to take a run at a cute park next to the hotel and then go shopping at a mall right across the street. It was such a great location and great views of the river! I will be back!!

Although the enginner tried to fix it, the heat did not work well.

Unfortunately my stay was frustrating. The hotel has a good overall rating, but my experience was really below the average. When I arrived to my room, the lavatory was full of tools (they started to fix the shower door but have not finished that). When I came back, it was in order and without tools. But this time there was no hot water (I don't even […] know if I could say it was warm). The maintenance came, made some repairs, but noticed that the boiler was turned off. I waited for half an hour for hot water and I didn't worked out. When I made my complaint to the front desk, they moved me to a river view room (where the lamp was very poorly fixed). I must say that Ms. Lisa from the front desk tried to solve the problems very promptly and that made my stay not that bad. Anyway, the hotel need major improvements. Next time in Boston I will try other hotel. Definitely, the cost/benefit relation is not good. Mehr

Hotel was very clean and the staff were both friendly and helpful. The room was great except for the mattress which was a little mushy and the pillows were hard. And no continental breakfast?? Although the restaurant on site served quality food, it was not cheap.Lastly, the valet crew outside the hotel need some coaching on greeting people and communicating […] in a pleasant manner. for us having just one night in the area, close to airport, nice area...great restaurant, "Bondir"... close by, and the hotel was great, they gave us a river view room...almost the whole wall was glass window looking at the great view..room very comfortable, bed great, bath /shower great... we really were very happy with this hotel...staff very friendly […] and helpful, absolutely no complaints and I can be picky!!! I travel alot, so problems do arise periodically in every kind & level of hotel. The key to a good hotel though is how they handle a problem. THis hotel not only handled the problems quickly, but also went a step further to be sure we were extra blessed for the inconvenience.

a great hotel just accross the river from boston with the advantage of a gym and a indoor swimming pool which is a great way to start sightseeing day. rooms really good, breakfast pricy but can go to mall accross from hotel, where there is also a terrific variety of shops including two good restaurants.

I have to say that after our visit we feel in LOVEEE with BOSTON it's an amazing city!!! The hotel was nice service was hit or miss some people where great while others where not. One thing I must warn is that it's very expensive I mean they charge 6.00 for a bottle of Poland Spring Water!!! Also one night my fiance wanted a midnight snack so he got […] a burger and some ice cream (what a snack lol) well that wound up costing us almost 40 dollars. Parking in Boston is horrible so get ready to pay some cabs the hotel is right across a mall and has some nice shuttle. Mehr

Our stay at the Royal Sonesta in Cambridge was great. We fully enjoyed the hotel and its surroundings. The staff were quite helpful and recommended a great seafood restaurant. The stay was too short, next time we will have to stay longer.

It looks like the room had been recently renovated: the bathroom was just spacious enough, the finishes were all very nice and somewhat modern, and the king size bed was amazingly comfortable. Good spot!

Almost everything about the Sonesta was positive superlatives. Afternoon wine and cheese dish under umbrella outdoors, morning buffet breakfast, perfect in all respects. Very clean, very comfortable, very pleasant. Only complaint was that room thermostat was a slave to environmental religious zealots and allowed temp to rise to 75F the moment we left […] the room. Come back to room, wait for A/C to bring temp back to something reasonable. How about a pro-choice room temperature policy? Mehr

have stayed at this hotel for years and NEVER a problem that's why i keep going back

The Hotel is excellent but the room you get when you book through this website is next to the elevator or the ice machines which are very noisy, otherwise the location is perfect

My hubby and I stayed here while moving our student into a college dorm. It's a beautiful classy hotel. The two concierges were friendly and helpful. There is a bar/restaraunt with indoor and outdoor seating, and we really enjoyed sitting outside right next to the river. It's right across from the Cambridgeside Galleria. We were able to get a cab to […] go to the North End for dinner, just because we didn't feel like driving in Boston traffic. The room was gorgeous, with granite, flat screen TV, and lots of space.
