There is not a lot to do around this area. We ended up driving to Hersey for dinner. But the hotel was clean and sevice was what I'd expect from a Hampton - solid. Overall I'd stay there again. Only complaint? The scrambled eggs at the breakfast were terrible and the coffee/tea cups were WAY too small for my need for caffeine!

We checked in very late after being at Hershey all day & night. The person at the front desk was great I would recommend this hotel to anyone going to Hershey Park. The only thing that happened is I got up at 8 am and no water. I had to brush my teeth by a bottle of water but by 9:30 the water was good & my family was able to take showers and brush […] there teeth. Mehr

This hotel is an exceptional value for those visiting Hershey. Good beds, good pool, good breakfast. Trust the ratings!

Very clean, very helpful and friendly staff. Great breakfast, good location. Close to the turnpike and close to Hershey and Lancaster. I would recommend this hotel. When we were checking out the staff at the desk checked with my husband first then told my 6 year old some of the other hotel patrons said he was so good and polite that he earned a Hershey […] bar - so cute, a real personal touch. Pro - Big room for a small hotel (we had room for all 5 of us), free internet in room, large TV and was able to connect portable DVD player for kids, free breakfast, and close to Hersey Park. Con - Pool was outdoors.

Great room and very clean. It is near the turnpike but sort of isolated. However, they gave us a paper with recommendations for restaurants and directions. The one we chose was fabulous. The staff at the hotel was very friendly. Would stay here again.

The hotel has recently installed motion sensors for the heating and cooling. Sounds very green but not very comfortable. Anytime there is no movement in the room the heat shuts off and the room plunges to 62 degrees (which felt more like 58). So when you leave the room, you return to a bitter cold. Worse yet in the middle of the night, it could not […] "sense" we were in the room, so the heat shut down. I awoke at 2:30 freezing to death, and as soon as I sat up in bed the heat came on. I have stayed at this hotel twice yearly for family reunions since it opened. Next year I look elsewhere. Mehr

The Faire is accross the street. Great location Great time

We were out of our room from 8 AM until Noon, and from 2 PM until 8 PM yet our room was not made up, just a bag of fresh linens left outside the door.

The hotel itself was nice enough. Clean, the staff was friendly and helpful, it has internet (wifi+), and an outdoor pool. BUT the hotel itself is a wall away from the highway, which can be heard at night, especially they trucks. It is a common stop-over for baseball teams and such, which resulted in people running up and down the halls yelling at midnight. […] Granted, we stayed over on a weekend...so this may not be a legitimate concern for weekday travelers. The hotel is convenient enough to Hershey Park and other nearby attractions. Mehr

If you want to go to the yearly Celtic Fling at the Pa. Rene Faire book early at this hotel. ckin is easy, room is nice, location is across the street from the event, and ck.out was also easy.

Location was great. Staff was friendly and attentive. LOVED the morning breakfast. Kids loved the pool. Great hotel for the price. Would stay here again.

we only stayed one night, but the hotel appeared clean and the staff were friendly. Our bathroom was clean and a nice size. the beds are soft with mushy pillows. wall thermostat was in working order. the only con i have is no microwave or refrigerator were in our room. We enjoyed the hot continental brkfst (waffle, omlet, biscut, gravy) along with cereal […] variety, fruit mix and fresh fruit, bagels, etc. a variety of juices and hot drinks (coffee, tea). pool area was clean with outdoor towels available and a nice paved walk way around a pond with a fountain to stretch your legs. it is conveniently located off of the turnpike, but i didn't hear any traffic noise (did have earplugs in though) and our room was located on the turnpike side. however, if the majority of your visit is in the lancaster area (bird-in-hand, intercourse, lititz), then this hotel may not be best. Renaissance Faire is directly across from hotel and a couple of winerys in the area. Mehr

We got a great deal on this hotel and loved it. Excellent breakfast with over fifteen things to choose from.

Great location! Centrally located for hershey park, amishcountry, I did a car show in York,Pa. & on to Gettysburgh too. I was at the end of the hallway closest to the turnpike so I could hear the traffic. Lots of kids roaming the hall late one night but that's on the parents not thehotel.

Great staff, breakfast and accommodations. Would definitely go again if I could get the great rate I got on hotels.com

The room was very nicely appointed, the breakfast had a nice selection, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and it was an overall great stay. It is convienently located right across from the Mount Hope Winery and Renisance Faire.

We had a nice stay and the staff was amazing. The rooms were very clean and the heating and air worked wonderful. I was also surprised about how nice the breakfast was the in the morning.I would recommend this place to anyone that wants to do anything in that area.

We were pleasantly surprised upon arrival. Breakfast very good. A great value.

I thought the Hampton Inn in Manheim was everything I wanted. I worked at the Renn Faire across the street until 8pm so I needed to check in late. It wasn't a problem. There were two clerks working in the clean well lit lobby. The lobby offered juice, coffee, tea and hot cocoa all hours. There were several chain restaurants to eat at about 10 minutes […] down the road. The room was clean, well decorated, the beds were comfortable and I couldn't hear the other guests at all. The free breakfast the next morning was crowded, but good. Who am I to complain about free food? The only down side was that the bathroom didn't have a vent switch. It got pretty stuffy in there after a hot shower. I was staying with friends so I couldn't just throw open the door. Overall I loved the Hampton Inn and would go again. Mehr

Could not have asked for a better location. It was directly across from the Pa. Ren. Faire. Very comfortable room. The complementary buffet breakfast was extensive and good. Also, 24 hr. coffee is almost a must for me. The room was well-appointed and comfortable. Worth the money.

The room was very comfortable. Great night sleep, plenty of food at breakfast. The staff was also very friendly. Will stay there again.

The room was way beyond our expectations. The bathroom was very clean, the bed and room temperature were very comfortable. Breakfast was very good.

Very clean and nice amenities. Enjoyed the breakfast included. Great location for PA Renaissance Faire. Highly recommend. On the down side, a bit of traffic noise from nearby turnpike and TV reception was not that great.

Overall I was pleased with my time at the hotel. The staff, daily cookie treat and ambience of hotel lobby was fabulous. I didn't find the beds to be particularly comfortable, but it was OK for a three night stay. I also wished that there were more umbrellas by the pool. Great atmosphere. The clerks at the front desk were very accomodating especially when we needed to add a cot to the room. The price was a bit high. I would have considered a price a bit lower. No where on the information page when filling out the form can you put discount cards such as AAA, Military or AARP. The continental breakfast was well worth […] the stay and cost. The Hampton Inn is very comfortable, but you can tell there is wear & tear. They need to update their pillows & beds. The location of the hotel is ideal when attending the PA Ren Faire as we did. Even though it was very close to the turnpike, it was very quiet in the room.

Our hotel was right across the street from the Ren Faire. Clean and friendly. Well worth the money.
