Comfort Inn Near Plano Medical Center - Plano

It was perfect for what we needed, somewhere to crash after a concert. It was easy to find, the front desk was polite and helpful, and the room was comfortable and clean, breakfast was on the scarce side, but the coffee was good, and they did have a waffle maker. Would considere staying there again if I was in the area.

This hotel is a little dated but clean. Very easy access to shops and food options - within walking distance or by car. It is just off to the side of a busy road, yet far enough away to have very quiet rooms but ease of access to major roads. It was a great experience. Several things in the area to do for entertainment, well worth it.

It was quiet and I was able to sleep well. A little dust around the edges of room up against baseboard.

A great stay, the staff was very friendly and helpful. There is a design flaw in the bathroom that deserves attention. The toilet paper dispenser is mounted so far under the counter that is in unreachable while sitting on the commode. The first time in my life that I had to crawl on my hands and knees under a counter to reach the paper. We picked this hotel because of previous reviews, price and location (being north of Dallas). The staff was very friendly and the neighborhood felt safe. The breakfast was nice and the beds were comfortable. Only complaint would be the musty smell of our room but that was better once we go the A/C going.

The parking lot next to the BBQ Restaurant has no sign telling guest that that is a loading and unloading zone for the food delivery trucks to the restaurant. I came out and almost fainted nbecause I thought the 18th wheler from Bene keith ( or something like that) had hit my vehicle. When I first walked in I was a little doubtful by the look of the small and a little outdated lobby, but once I reached my room, I was surprised by how nice it was. What they skimped on in the lobby they made up for by the rooms. It was a very convenient location for the Plano-Fresno-North Dallas area. I was a little disappointed because hotels.com said I was getting 2 queen sized beds and it ended up being 2 double beds, that weren't very plush, but would have been better if I wasn't sharing the bed with my fiance while our friend took the other bed. I don't know if the confusion was with hotels.com or with the hotel itself. There was a good bar-b-q restaurant right next door, which was extremely convenient and lots of other restaurants and a Starbucks in close proximity to the hotel. The only other "bad" experience I had with the hotel was that when I first walked in, there was no one at the front desk, but they quickly came back, and then again there was no one at the front desk on Saturday around 4:00 but I called the hotel from my cell phone and the desk attendant came from around the corner, where their office was. She must have not heard me because I walked to the desk from inside the hotel, instead of walking in the main entrance, but she apologized and was very helpful. Overall, I was very happy with my stay at Comfort Inn Near Plano Medical center and the price was great. Mehr

I have stayed at the Comfort Inn several times because it is near a friend's house. It is always comfortable and clean. I appreciate that it is reasonably priced, especially for the neighborhood. The breakfast has hot waffles and enough other items that we don't have to stop for breakfast somewhere else. I will stay here again.

Poor maintanance,coundnot make the shower work

They did not do a good job of cleaning and our feet were black from walking on the carpet. This probably wouldn't have mattered too much except we had a baby crawling around and since they offer cribs they expect small children to stay in the room. Overall it wasn't bad for the price.

We were very satisfied with the value of our room. The only upgrade that I think management should consider is the installation of grab bars in the bathtub/shower units and/or non-slip adhesives to the bottom of the shower/tub units. It was very slippery getting in and out of the unit each morning. My in-laws stayed across the hall and they were concerned […] about the same issue. Other than that, the price was very affordable for the accomodations provided. The continental breakfast was good. I would appreciate sugar-free syrup as an option for the belgian waffles. Many diabetics travel, and very few restaurants or hotels offer sugar free options for them. That would be a big perk! The location was great for us. We will definitely consider staying there again. We were unable to use the shower/bath because we couldn't get more than a trickle out of the faucet.

Every thing is great in this hotel. Breakfast is much better than in most hotels in the same category.

This was a great hotel for the price. Not the fanciest place you'll ever stay, but I had no complaints, and it was easy to get to.

when we arrived and had checked in the room keys would't open the room door even though the green light came on went back to the desk and the cleark told me oh yeah we've had a problem with that lock she said to wait after inserting the key card for a few seconds and see if that worked also the television was defective the hot breakfast was cold and […] nasty Mehr

i was really impressed with the quality of service and the clean room that we stayed in we drove 300 miles for a doctor's appoinment @ 7:30 am saturday everything was as it should be and check-in was prompt and curtious. the price was very reasonable and it was close to our dr's office.

Very quiet hotel. We have stayed in other hotels in the same area in the past, and did not have the same positive experience, due to other guests partying throughout the night.

There were five things wrong with the room. We were very tired after flying all day, and thought we could endure them. We could not and checked out the next morning and moved to another hotel. The issues, in order of importance to us: 1. Room was very musty and smelled bad. Turns out the foul smell was IN the air handling unit, like cat urine! 2. The […] air handling unit ran continuously, even on LOW COOL. It was very close to the bed and a constant nuisance. 3. There was NO exhaust fan in the bathroom. 4. Bed linens were coarse and scratchy. 5. Furniture was worn and shabby. Mehr

The Hotel is located in a very good area. Plenty of choices of food and shopping places. The Hotel was clean , breakfast was adequate. The stay was great value for money.

We reserved a room with double queens. It was clean, spacious, and well kept. The service was good. The hotel was quiet. Breakfast was good, scrambled eggs & gravy, biscuits, waffles, cereal, toast, bagels, coffee & juices. I'd recommend it, especially if you're just needing a good quiet place to rest. Very nice for the price.

Good value for price paid. This is my second time staying there, will go back.

The room was clean and we got a great rate for the room but this was a clear case of you get what you pay for. We were dissappointed with the hotel based on what we thought were photos of the local hotel we were to stay. Room was much smaller than photos indicated. I asked for a larger room and was told there were only 2 rooms in the entire hotel that […] were what they considered large. However the clerk was unable to locate them. The breakfast was a full hot breakfast but the batter for the waffles must have gone bad (on both mornings) because they had a sour taste. We noticed other guests making their own waffles then throwing them out after a bite or two. You had to be one of the first ones in line if you wanted eggs since they did not bring out more. Mehr

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and were very pleased. The hotel staff was wonderful. The continental breakfast was well stocked and hot. We would stay again at this hotel.

Room was quiet. Convenient location. Window Air unit quieter than most. I particularly like the shower valve: single turn for flow and second dial for temperature. Good breakfast bar with eggs, biscuits and gravy, waffles, cerial, yogurt, fruit, and pastries.

From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we were treated very well. the room was extremely comfortable, well prepared and had every thing we needed. The breakfast was lovely and the whole facility was very well maintained. Thanks for a great stay!!!

I had a huge room at the far end of the hall. Clean, comfortable. The continental breakfast was the usual Comfort Inn fare- bland, minimal, not very satisfying.

Part of bed frame was protruding out from bed frame and we hurt our ankles on the iron rail.

There is nothing remotely fancy about it, nor does there need to be. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the ice machine worked. Bottom line, this hotel was perfect for a quick stay over in Plano.
