Hampton Inn on the Lake - Marble Falls

The complimentary breakfast at this particular Hampton Inn did not live up to our expectations. The eggs were rubbery, the sausage too greasy and not many options. We've stayed at other Hampton Inn before and had excellent food. Our room's air conditioner was also having problems cooling the room and the overnight desk person attempted to fix, but since […] there was no maintenance person available, we barely slept due to the hot room. The hotel is very nice and price is reasonable. Has an excellent view overlooking the lake. The hot breakfast is top notch.

Older Motel, very clean and redone on the inside. Beautiful view with good restaurant to walk to. The air conditioner wasbroken in room so our first night wasa little uncomfortable. They moved us to a room that was pool side which was not favorable due to privacy concerns. This was a minor issue. as they made sure to close the pool once it got late. […] I enjoyed the waffles but I wish they would have had strawberry banana yogurt.Everyone was nice.Marble Falls is a great place to visit. this hotel is excelent, it is right on the lake, the minute we walked into the hotel, we were attracted by the water view of the dinning area, really nice. Room was very comfy, breakfast selection were excellent, very enjoyful environment!

I loved everything about this hotel. The room was very nice. The bed was so comfortable. The bathroom was large. The view from the breakfast area was fantastic. It was close to everything. Great place to stay.

Great Place to stay in...convenient to the lake, restaurants, and nearby attractions. Staff is friendly and service is incredible.

I have to admit, I was BLOWN AWAY by this Hotel. I know, a hotel is a hotel . .. but This Hampton Inn just really seemed to be a GEM! While I did not visit the Chili's or River City that share the parking lot, I did think it was neat to have them right there. Also, the Hotel overlooks the water. I did not have a Lake View, but easily could have. The […] Pool However, overlooks the lake and I can imagine would have a great sunset! The Hot Tub is right there as well. Breakfast the next morning was complimentary and included, Eggs, Sausage, Oatmeals and Cereals, Fruits, Milks, Coffee, Waffles, Biscuits, Bagels . . . yeah, there were plenty of things from which to choose and get you ready for the day. The Fitness Room was composed of 3 machines. I am not sure what one of them is supposed to be, maybe a Cross-Country/Eliptical Mix, but the Treadmill and Bike were fine. Helped me from feeling so guilty when I had breakfast! I was just stopping through on my way to San Antonio, but I will make this a regular stop! Other items include a Refigerator in the Room along with a Microwave and Coffee Pot. The coffee and hot water at the Breakfast Stand were good during breakfast hours, but not so much when I got there. However, the Tea was available, so I saddled up a Mint Herb Tea and used the Microwave to have a cup (then another). I cannot wait to get back and spend a little more time there. Mehr

Room was OK, but A/C thermostat didn't work and room stayed too hot. Breakfast is great and overcomes other failings! River City Grill was just next door and had great food!

We had a very nice time at the Hampton Inn Hotel. My brother was celebrating his 50th Birthday nearby, so I stayed at this hotel with 2 other families. The staff was very nice, Coffee was served early, which I loved and we enjoyed the complimentary breakfast. The rooms were clean with a nice size refrigerator for all our drinks and snacks. We came down for a friend's wedding and stayed 3 days at the Hampton. It was a blast. Despite being a bit cool, we spent some time out on the deck overlooking the lake and relaxed in the breakfast/lounge area. The views are beautiful, rooms clean and comfortable and the breakfast better than we could have gotten at a restaurant. It's just blocks from […] historic downtown and the Bluebonnet Cafe. Having a fridge and microwave in the room was great. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful, special thanks to Cathy at the front desk. We will definitely look for the Hampton chain anytime we go on trips now. Mehr

The desk clerk was very professional and rooms were very clean.

This is a very nice hotel in a great location. Guests can walk to two casual dining places that share the parking lot with the hotel. This was incredibly convenient since my wife and I arrived late (9pm) to check in and were hungry. The staff of this hotel were very friendly and accomodating and made it clear that they were availalble to help with […] anything we needed. The room was somewhat modern and very cozy (had a large, flat screen TV). The bathroom was very modern and well-lit. The AC worked very well and made the room's temperature just-right. The only downsides I noticed were MINOR and did not affect the comfort of the room, but did stand out to me. The room's secondary door latch was loose and missing a screw which would render it inaffective if someone opened the deadbolt and tried to gain entry to the room. The latch mechanism was also well worn. The room's door closer mechanism was loose and it's screws were about to come out of the door frame. While these are minor, they do indicate that a more thorough maintenance inspection is needed. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice place to stay in Marble Falls. Mehr

Would go back in a minute. Have a room on the lake side - Wake up and see the sunrise or sunset. Good food - very very clean

the breakfast is great - includes warm outmeal, which i love. the room is very cozy, and it was so close to many wonderful state parks. i highly recommend this hotel.

For the most part, the hotel was excellent. It is withing walking distance to several restaurants and shops and just a few minutes driving distance to many other attractions. I only have 2 complaints - the bed was not as comfortable as others and our room was cleaned before we had completed removed all our items and checked out. Since it was New Year's […] weekend, we had some champagne left in the bottle and were going to make mimosas, but the remainder was poured out and our fridge items removed. The hotel staff returned the items immediately once we called down to the front desk, so they changed a negative into a positive. Mehr

This was our second time to stay here and, like the last time, we totally enjoyed ourselves. The room was quiet with a great view of the lake and the Christmas Light Walk. Gabriela was our housekeeping person and she was very nice, kind, and honest. The room was spotless and we didn't have any problems or eyesores. About the only thing we would suggest […] for the hotel, invest in some rubber mats for the tub and shower. I slipped in it because it was so slick. Nice hot breakfast buffet. One morning the scrambled eggs contained ham (I'm vegetarian) but the staff made eggs without the ham especially for me and my husband! Right on the lake and right by the huge walk thru holiday display too

The hotel was our base of operation as we enjoyed the surrounding towns of Fredricksburg and Johnson City, as well as Marble Falls. The Christmas Lights Display next to the hotel was incredible. It's convenient to everything.. not to mention The Bluebonnet Cafe! Staff was friendly and helpful. Great view of the lake. Definitely would return!

Could see the lake and all the Christmas lights on the lake from our room. It was breathtaking. The next morning the kids woke us up to see the ducks swimming in the lake. Nice, quite family oriented place to stay.

Excellent location to launch your hill country exploration. Hotel was very clean and the staff friendly.

I like to start things off on a positive nature, so the first thing I'll say is that if you stay at this Hampton hotel, get a lake view. Simply GORGEOUS! The view was actually the best part of the Hampton Inn. The room itself wasn't quite what I expected for the price, though. Another thing: They mention "a business center" being onsite, yet it's nothing […] more than a computer with a printer that's out of paper in the middle of the breakfast area! I expected a separate little room for privacy. Speaking of, the breakfast was okay, but nothing out of the ordinary. The WORST part of the hotel stay was when the toilet in our room broke. Fortunately, the management gave us another room for the night with a working toilet. We were lucky that the entire hotel facility wasn't booked! Finally, if you're looking for fun nightlife, you won't find much in this quaint but sleepy little town. Definitely not the fault of the Hampton Inn, but just wanted you to know.... Mehr

I feel like for the price it could have been a lot better. The pool neeed cleaning. Not worth the extra money. Had to pay extra for view- I thought the extra money I was paying was for the view. I guess the extra I paid was to say I stayed at the lake.

We were pleasantly surprised by our experience with the Hampton Inn. Our room had a spectacular view of the river, and the hotel was located within walking distance to Main St with lots of cool shops. We ate at the River City restaurant within close walking distance of the Hotel. Breakfast, included, with hotel reservation, was very good - lots of variety […] and impressed that recyclable (not styrafoam) plates were used. The fitness room was very small - just three machines, but that was not an issue because our itinerary of activities was full. Mehr

I would have enjoyed it better if the lake view was offered at the same rate as the other rooms. the place was ideal for the location with 2 restaurants to choose from and view of the lake from the dining room.
