Embassy Suites DFW Airport North/Outdoor World - Grapevine

I love this hotel. The pool is a salt water pool and therefore better for you. The only downfall was that there was a meeting taking place that had a Hindu god statue in the Lobby area. The meeting goers took most of the parking. The meeting had food in the lobby area which made the lobby smell of curry. I think the statue should have been in a meeting […] room rather than out for all to see. I am sure that if I had a christian, muslim, or other religious symbol in the lobby any Hindu would feel uncomfortable too. Mehr

Staff was friendly. The room was a dissapointment. Toilet handle would stick and would run water until you jiggled the handle and the air conditioner would not adjust. We will not be staying there again.

My friend and I flew into DFW after coming home from vacation in Jamaica. The flight didn't come in until almost midnight, but the hotel shuttle showed up quickly, and the driver was very helpful with our bags. Everyone was courteous, even though it was so late at night. The free breakfast the next morning was great to wake up to, and perfect right […] before the drive back home. Definitely recommend Embassy Suites for anyone needing to stay close to the airport. This hotel had all the ammenities that you need. The hotel is in great shape. It had a restaraunt, bar, store, indoor pool, etc. The rooms are big and spacious, and comfortable. It was worth the extra money to stay here. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

Very friendly staff, great breakfast and very clean.

After reading many reviews related to DFW area Embassy Suites, I choose the "Outdoor World" as my son is an outdoor enthusiast (he is 22 y/o). He enjoyed everyday, not to mention he visited Outdoor World every single day. This was a wonderful experience for the Family to spend 3 amazinig days in the DFW area. However, we were a little disappointed in […] how the hotel managed the Swimming Pool area. The water in the pool was "green" and didn't look like it had been treated. We own a swimming pool (at our home in Arkansas) and this was somewhat a disappointment. Never the less, our stay was Great! The staff were also very attentive to our request and needs. We ate breakfast & dinner in the restaurant and the food was equally as good and satisfying. I met one of your staff members (Paula) who had a badge on that stated she was "In-Training." She thanked us for staying at the Hotel and wished us well on our departure. Make no mistake about it. We will be back. However, I will book again in the future and allow myself some wiggle room if I choose to change my reservation. Mehr

We stayed here for two nights during spring break to allow the kids to swim and see the sights. The pool was kinda dirty. I didn't notice, because I didn't get in, but my kids mentioned there was small bits of trash floating around. I seriously did not want to leave. I traveled to the DFW area for a relaxing weekend; I became enthralled by the pictures I saw of this hotel online. I couldn't believe how beautiful it was! The staff was incredibly kind, room service was very efficient. My room was clean and full of surprises! I will most definitely be back.

We must have picked the wrong day to be there. poeple next door had the room one night only to "pary" and had to call security at 1:00am to have them calm down. The pool was cold and then hot tud was warm at best. Both were indoors.

This is our second time to stay at Embassy during the holidays and once again our family was more than satisfied. Great place to stay at a great price. They say, "the third time is a charm." We'll see next Christmas.

Room had lots of space . Beds were suppose to be queens but were full size . Room smelled like carpet freshener . A bit to strong . Maid knocked on door and walked in when the do not disturb sign was on. Quickly left, when saw us sitting on couch the morning we were leaving. Hotel had great happy hour and breakfast. We were there for a family trip to the stadium and this hotel was amazing!!! The people were very friendly and accommodating and the hotel was very clean! Breakfast and manager's special were wonderful! Highly recommended!

The cable was not working properly; therefore when it came around to new years it was caous.That was the whole reason we stayed there.It was a problem the next morning as well when we tryed to watch our pastor at lakewood church... Not Good, Tim

We stayed at Embassy Suites Grapevine for a week over the 2011 Holidays, the staff was great, particualrly the staff that worked at the grill where they served the free breakfast, a fine hotel that provides a unique niche very well.

The breakfast was great. We really enjoyed the omolete bar. All the staff was very friendly and helpful.The only problem we had was our room was musty and the air didn't work well.

We enjoyed our visit. The location was great and breakfast was good. The only issue was that there was a lot of school aged children at hotel on school trips and seemed to have limited supervision.

We went with a large group and stayed two nights... My families room was 431, as soon as we walked in my 2 kids and myself all said... "Whats that smell?" Another couple with us said their room smell...Kinda a damp musty smell... Reminded me of my Great grandmothers cellar in her backyard.. Other than that hotel is great... Breakfast is awesome.. We were a little disappointed when we found out the hot tub was not functioning. But what made matters worse was getting attacked by ants by the pool side. When you stay at a place of this price range expectations are at a higher level. The good part of the stay is the breakfast! Food always makes things better. And Yes we will stay again

Had a group of 10 going to see concert at cowboy stadium and do some shopping. perfect location for closeness and access. rooms are so accommodating, breakfast is FABULOUS, this hotel never disappoints! also handy if you have to catch a flight out (which we didn't this time). love, love, love!

We had 5 rooms with a group of 20 and not a complaint from the bunch. Hotel staff was great, the breakfast is fantastic (free) and the Happy 2 Hours was awesome!! (free) A great place to stay!!

Always perfect with a perfect breakfast!!

The hotel was beautiful and had great amenities. The only negative thing was no vent fan in our bathroom - hard to get rid of shower steam!

The place is really nice - I'll give them that. But, the breakfast was the only thing worth paying the price. The air conditioner in the room would cool the living area to the point of freezing, but the sleeping area was hot no matter what. The walls are extremely thin and you could hear everything going on in the next room, in the living area, in the […] bathroom, and outside. I've stayed in cheap motels with better insulation and noise reduction than this. Also, the place had one elevator out of order so it was taking 3-4 trips before we were able to get on the elevator to our floor. As for the pool, great indoor area if we could have enjoyed it. The chlorine was so strong that I couldn't stand the smell and it was extremely crowded. No one was paying attention to the 40+ children (or so it seemed) in there. Also, if you are planning on staying in the area, make sure to do your homework on construction and road closings. Even with printed directions, GPS, and having been to the area numerous times, it doesn't help when you don't expect to have all the known exits closed to construction. Overall, this place is not worth the money we paid for it. Mehr

My husband and I would highly recommend this hotel and Uncle Buck's. We had a great time and appreciated the helpfulness of the staff. The manager'sa reception and breakfast were incredible! We will definitely be back!

Very nice hotel. Lack: only one trash can in entire room and very small!!- front desk check in long line..check your extra cost for movies ordered and they are expensive $14.00+, not many free channels, upon check out-I was over charged but quickly changed after I spoke with manager. Front dest clerk was clueless. Should have internet free wifi in room […] at cost of stay but cost 9.99 per 24 hours...Staff is very courteous and daily breakfrest was great except for long line to order omelette or waffles. This hotel is very close to the Dallas/Fort Worth Airport and was just wonderful for a place to stay after picking up my son. The hotel is very comfortable and convenient to many restaurants and shopping centers. Being connected to Bass Pro was also a plus as "Uncle Bucks" was a wonderful nightspot. This Embassy Suites was outstanding. The complementary full breakfast was outstanding and very convenient. the rooms are very roomy and clean. The hotel is right next to a large Bass Pro and within a block of a large shopping mall. Plus it is right of the freeway. I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone!

What a wonderful paradise for people traveling by car or by plane. The breakfast were excellent even though they had no waffles for both stays. The pool was relaxing and not crowded and the decor of the hotel was beautiful and relaxing. We had 4 adults and 2 children and yet privacy with the separate bedroom. The staff there were incompetent and seemed burdened to do their jobs. The hotel was nice enough. However the receptionist behind the counter needs an attitude adjustment.

Very Nice hotel that is close to Grapevine Mills mall and resturants. The free breakfast is the best.

Although the Embassy Suites near Outdoor World is older and a little out of date, the hotel is very clean and extremely well-maintained. The staff is very professional and helpful at all times. The evening reception has a nice atmosphere and a cordial staff to assist in any way. The made to order breakfast is awesome! Wish I could make omelets like […] their cooks. Great place to stay. Nice accomodations, friendly staff, and nice breakfast. We also had a late night refreshment and the bartender was very friendly and helpful. Brought my family to the hotel to stay for New Year's Eve. The King suite was absolutely beautiful. Everything we needed was provided for our overnight stay. The breakfast we had the next morning was wonderful. If you couldn't find something to eat then you are to picky of a person. Would definitely visit this hotel again!
