There was no microwave available at breakfast. I needed this for my special diet. I had used the microwave the night before. When the desk clerk was asked he refused to make it available. I needed it to cook my cereal. Hot water was provided but the cereal was not cooked and barely warm. He was rude.

manager of the office weren't friendly at all!! He didn't want to be bothered with questions.

The best hotel we stayed in on our recent trip. Everything was clean, there was absolutely no "hotel smell" that even some of the best hotels have. Good breakfast, the hotel manager seemed to be the person in charge of breakfast and he was working hard to make sure things were right, as well as taking care of the front desk. excellent stay for the price! Very conveniently located.

I stayed in a deluxe queen room, room 317. It was to the rear of the hotel. No traffic noise. The pillows on the bed were soft as butter. I feel asleep immediately on modern super clean large room with a refrigrator, 27 inch color tv, desk with free wifi, iron and coffee pot. We enjoyed our stay at the Guesthouse, clean with great service. Very quiet even though it's located at a major intersection. Close to everything, would definitely stay again.

Very cost friendly for the area. Convenient to major attractions and downtown. Super clean and very nice rooms. Even the breakfast was great. Would recommend to anyone!

The entrance into the hotel by car is awkwad. Its confusing for the first time you try to find the hotel. No clear entrance to the hotel. Have to use the entrance for Texas Restaurant that is next to the hotel. Had to get in and out of the hotel as located next to busy road. This hotel reminded me of hotels along the side of the highway in the 1960's. In addition, there was very limited parking and very narrow access roads. There were also security signs everywhere telling us that they were not responsible for break-ins of your car. Beautiful hotel. Staff were very accomodating and friendly. We had free breakfast. Was great. Can't tell from the outside how big this place is. Highly recommend.

Very good location if visiting Asheville North Carolina. Almost directly across from Biltmore entrance. Also just adjacent to the main I 40 Interstate. Several restaurants close by/walking distance. Parking would be a little tight for people with oversize vehicles.

Very close to Biltmore and downtown Asheville.

I stayed at this motel for a night. The stay was enjoyable. The motel is close to downtown and also close to nice restaurants.

I was very satisfied with this hotel. It was safe, clean, confortable and affordable.

Very clean and comfortable. This was the second time we stayed here! I left my fat baby boots in the room and in a panic the next day I called the motel. The staff had found them and told me they would ship them UPS back to me. Much to my surprise and delight I had them back (for a low charge) in three days.

My husband and I recently took a trip to Asheville to visit the Biltmore Estate and we stayed on night at the Guesthouse International Inn. Our first impression was it isn't much to look at from the outside, but the incredibly friendly and courteous front desk employee made us feel very welcome, the outside appearance did not matter. The rooms are accessed […] from outside only, which is normally something I try to avoid, but I was pleasantly surprised that you could not hear much street noise from the room. When we walked into the room the beds were perfectly made and clean. I loved that there were no itchy bedspreads as many "affordable" chains often have. There were a lot of pillows as well, which is great because I am 6 months pregnant and have to create my own little pillow nest in order to sleep. The bathroom was clean, the carpet was very clean and the room did not have any odor or musty smell. Two tiny downsides to this room were that the toilet flusher would stick and make the toilet continue to run unless you made sure to lift the handle back up, and there was a slight gap at the bottom of the door where the weather stripping had come loose. These were so minor we didn't even consider telling the front desk or switching rooms. I think the best thing about this hotel was the free breakfast. I have been to a lot of hotels with "free continental breakfast where they claim to have “hot breakfast” which consists of one waffle iron. This one was different. There was a waffle iron, but there was also scrambled eggs, biscuits and sausage gravy and French toast sticks. In addition, there was an assortment of breads, bagels, muffins and pastries, cereal, yogurt, oatmeal and a few other breakfast staples. Not to mention a juice bar, coffee, milk and tea. Let’s just say we ate breakfast at 9 and didn’t eat again until 3 that day. We were satisfied. Checkout was also fast and easy and was done by another courteous staff member. We only stayed one nite at this hotel, however the desk clerk was very friendly and offered a warm welcome. The hotel even had a list of eating establishment, lounges, bars and night spots and their venues for Mardi Gras celebrations. Loved it and will book my next stay there.

Everything about the hotel was satisfactory except it's location on a very busy street with no noise barrier. In addition, a man sat with his motor running right outside our door and he was in a huge truck. My husband had to dress and go down and ask the desk clerk to please ask the trucker to turn off his motor. After that we only had to deal with […] the traffic on the street. Mehr

The room was very comfortable and spacious. The bed was very comfortable and I slept well. The shower has a great shower head and the waterflow and temperature was just fine. I enjoyed the shower. Loved location and hotel just wish the bed was a little softer.

Don't know way this hotel was rated 2.5 stars. The beds were fabulous and there was enough light to read. Towels were changed. There was a mini fridge and a coffeemaker. The full breakfast was good. It was maintained by someone each morning. The sanitation rate was 100 %. Can't ask for more than that.

The one thing that has to be mentioned is the front desk staff. They were very accommodating and had all the information at check-in. The other staff, as would be encountered, was friendly and very helpful. My wife and I were also surprised at the comfort of the beds. All around, a good travel experience.

Great place to stay!

The room was clean and comfortable, good location, breakfast was good, and the price was right. I will definitely stay here again when the opportunity arises.

This is actually my second time staying at the hotel. Each time I was pleased with the value.

Room was clean and spacious, with very tiny bathroom. Service was courteous. Wifi worked very well. Breakfast was ample. Highway noise in from facing room was a minor problem

Very convenient to Biltmore. Very clean, quite and comfortable. Staff was very good. Breakfast was very good. Only down side is, if you have never been there before, the driveway to the hotel is very hard to see. Maybe some signs would help.

The hotel was clean, very pretty rooms, well maintained and close to the Biltmore House entrance. We enjoyed the continental breakfast it included biscuits, eggs, and sausage so it was above average. Would defiantly recommend it

We enjoyed our stay at this motel. It was convenient to most of the Asheville area. The breakfast area was a bit small considering the size of the motel. Although the breakfast items were excellent, just hard to find room to sit.

Nice hotel, clean rooms and friendly staff. Not a big issue but breakfast area is very crowded.

They were clean and the beds were nice and some of the staff was very helpful. However, some of the staff should find another line of work (not in customer service) . One thing we encountered was that they do not allow anyone in the waiting area from 10 to 6:30am. I rise early and simply wanted a place to read my paper so I could let family sleep. Another […] item was when we called for help with a phone number to a local major attraction, they said they would have to look it up and call us back and they never did call us back. :( We got the room at a big discount @ Hotels.com so it made these issues a bit easier to live with but I would not stay there again. Nothing fancy, but a good comparative value for the area. Located very next door to a chain steak house restaurant with shared driveway access. Challenging access during traffic. We had a two bed room for just one night while visiting friends at Mission Hospital. Everything worked, everything was clean, desk clerk was courteous and professional. I would recommend this Hotel to friends or family.

We were quite surprised to find the accommodations to be so convenient to our visit in Ashville. The Biltmore was only a few blocks away and other sites were only a short drive. Breakfast was like being home and the staff as was our room, excellent!

at 6:45 I was awakened by a drilling sound permeating through the foundation from somewhere!!!!!!

This hotel was extremely convenient to the Biltmore entrance. The hotel staff was nice and our rooms were clean. The continental breakfast was very nice as well. Also, there is a Texas Roadhouse within walking distance which was also convenient for a Sat. night out. We would definetly stay here again, especially for the price!

Loved the location, convenience and cleanliness of this hotel. Right next to Roadhouse Grill for which we were given a discount ticket and the breakfest was a pleasant surprise. The bathroom was on the small side but otherwise was very comfortable. Would definitely stay there again.
