sehr gutes, sauberes Hotel!

Wir, 3 Erwachsene + 1 Kind, waren für 2 Nächte im Holiday Inn Express Grover Beach. Bereits beim Einchecken wurden wir mit einem Lächeln und absoluter Freundlichkeit begrüsst. Wir haben uns sofort sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Zimmer war groß, hell und alles war blitzeblank sauber. Das Frühstück war sehr gut sortiert. Obst, Ei, gebratener Speck, verschiedene […] Toast / Bagel-Sorten, Müsli, Muffins, Joghurt, Milch etc. Sogar beim Nachlegen waren die Mitarbeiter stets freundlich und hatten immer ein liebes Wort für die Gäste übrig. Dieses Hotel ist absolut zu empfehlen und wir würden dort jederzeit wieder ein paar Tage verbringen. Mehr

The rooms here are huge, there is ample parking however there is no fitness room only an outdoor pool.

Although it was right off the highway, the hotel was quite and the setting was very pretty. Room was fine. We stayed 2 nights in 2 different rooms. Only problem was there was no exhaust fan in either bathroom.

No towels on the pool But good breakfast

Arrived very late. Quick check-in ~ comfy room. Gave us late check out. Superb!

The room was beautiful and the serice excellent. The breakfast provided was just amazing!!! Good Hot Food!!

GREAT HOTEL FOR THE MONEY!!!!!!!!

I stay here on business about every two weeks. Nice hotel at a reasonable price. Two buildings. Three stories with an elevator in each building. Great hot buffet breakfast with eggs and either bacon or sausage, hot cinnamon rolls, fruit, juices, etc.. Located next to a great dinner restaurant too in the same parking lot as the hotel. Ask the desk clerk […] to give you the 10 % discount coupon for the restaurant. Hotel is located away from most traffic, but ask for a room away from the street, if possible. Mehr

OK. Very helpful service.

Good value large room. Friendly staff. Better than average "continental" breakfast. Easy location next to freeway. We used the hotel as a base for exploring Hearst Castle, Big Sur, and the Pismo Beach area.

Stayed here on a recent trip to Pismo Beach. We were at the hotel for five nights and have no complaints. A full breakfast was included every morning. And when I say full, I mean bacon, eggs, yogurt, fruit, fresh pancakes, and even biscuits and gravy! I was pleasantly surprised. Our room was very clean and quite large. One night I asked for a few more […] pillows and with minutes the lady from the front desk showed up with them. Also, the hotel was really close to the beach (if driving). A few mornings we woke up, and within minutes, we at the beach for our morning run. Overall, the service was great, the breakfast was good, and I was completely satisfied with my stay. Mehr

Very comfortable. We would use the again.

Rooms facing highway, only 200 ft from Highway 1 Rooms only had single pane windows, thus lots of road noise, especially from trucks in morning. I asked for another room, but they said none were available, only 1 next to Ice machine. The hotel didn't seem very full!

This is the third time we have stayed at this hotel. I will stay again. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff are all wonderful. Recomend.!

This Hotel is gorgeous, the beds are huge and soft and simply wonderful. The Location is centrally located near the Monarch Butterfly Park and also the local theater. A real nice bonus is the free Breakfast, which goes way beyond dried out pastries and semi cold juice, a must visit,

I've stayed here many times on business in the past. Must have been a management change, as they no longer offer complimentary cookies or bottled water at check-in. Also, they just recently replaced the light switches in the rooms. The light in the bathroom kept turning itself on. I thought I'd figured out how to switch it off, but was awakened at 4:30 […] AM to my room fully lit up. The bathroom light came on again all by itself. Weird. I "fixed" it by shutting the door and going back to sleep. Otherwise, it's a nice hotel. Mehr

Our stay at the Grover Beach location was good, it was close to 101 freeway and many of the local businesses nearby. This was our second time at the Holiday Inn Express and I know that we'll stop here again, room was very clean and it had a fireplace, good to have on a raining night.

The staff was exceptionally kind and helpful. I had a friend with me who is in a wheelchair. The buffet breakfast is quite good - loved the hot cinnamon rolls! Beds comfortable, nice pillows. Lovely view east of the hills. We had a handicap room which didn't quite suit the needs of my friend. We would prefer a walk-in shower rather than a tub, but they […] brought us a chair which worked fairly well. We would certainly stay here again. Mehr

The hotel needs updating terrible TV, air conditioner, Cricket in bathroom and huge fly in room. Bed was outstanding! And location of room was great. Desk attendents were wonderful.

The room was clean, however they put us in the older section of the hotel. Two complaints: There's a swamp-like cooler in room, no central heat and air, so the room got a little stuffy at night and there are no movie rentals. Other than that, it was clean and big enough. I've stayed at this hotel twice. The rooms are good sized, clean, and the beds are very comfortable. My favorite part of this hotel is the jacuzzi hot tub next to the pool which is why I came back. But also the staff is friendly and they have a nice continental breakfast. There is a nice restaurant right across the parking lot, shopping close by and […] good freeway access. It is clean, neat, convienent, up to date. Only drawback is it is next to freeway. Ask for room away from freeway!! Othewise car noise is loud at times and can be troublesome. They will locate you away from freeway if you ask. Otherwise hotel is perfect and I would stay again as long as room is away from noise.

This hotel was perfect for our vacationing family of four. The location was close to beautiful beaches, great restaurants and wonderful shopping. Our room was nicely sized and the relaxing balcony was a bonus! Our kids loved the swimming pool and we met other nice families as well. Variety of breakfast service was great and it was nice to be able to […] take breakfast back to our room of we so desired. Staff was very friendly and catered to our every request. Nice room. friendly staff. Short drive to a very beautiful beach that connects to Pismo beach.

Our room was comfortable, the breakfast was good. Easy freeway access to other towns.

Great hotel and location. Our stay was quiet and very convienent to surrounding cities on the central coast. I will defiently stay here again. I couldn't have asked for more.

I would definitely choose this hotel again. It was very clean, kid friendly, comfortable beds, and a good continental breakfast. Location was great, close to the beach, and next to an amazing restraunt.

The hotel was overpriced for the quality of the room. The beds were not especially comfortable and the furnishings were old, beat up desk, older model TV, etc. and the room smelled like mildew! Really liked this hotel. It is on several different levels so you must be able to climb stairs. Pool and spa clean and heated. We were the only ones in the pool and only one other couple in spa. Bed was super comfy, lots of pillows. Great free breakfast and everyone was very polite and friendly.

Very clean, affordable, highly recommended if in the area.

On the good side this hotel has very friendly staff, good breakfast and it is very near the Pismo beach. Only downside is the curtains does not cover the window and the room is little bright in the night.
