Just had an excellent one night stay in this city centre hotel with my two kids, no fault whatsoever. Definitely recommend!

As with most hotels, would have been happier with more pillows! Other than that, very satisfactory and good loctation, directly across from train station.

Rooms clean and in good condition, good buffet breakfast, very convenient for central Bristol - across the street from Temple Meads rail.

I stayed here with my boyfriend because our flight landed too late for us to get a train back home from the station. It was a stones throw away from the station, which was VERY helpful with my huge suitcase! Staff were very helpful, room was lovely and clean, better than the hotel we'd had all week abroad. A very convienent place to stay. Was heading to London the followling morning and it was great cos station was just up the road (1 min walk). Would stay again if in Bristol.

The Holiday Inn Express Bristol City was an excellent location for our business in Bristol.It was directly across the road from Temple Mead Rail Station.Aircoaches and taxi services were also available from Temple Mead.The hotel was very close to all main attractions in Bristol.The centre of the city could be reached ,on foot, in 5 minutes through Queens […] Square.excellent location. I stayed one evening at the hotel prior to a conference. The rate was far better value than the conference hotel hence my choice. I travelled by car and the hotel was easy to find with my sat nav. However, with the station literally across the road, public transport would have been equally as accessible. The staff were very helpful and friendly and […] made me feel very welcome. The surroundings were pleasant and well maintained. I was unable to see much of the city owing to work commitments. Might need to bring your heater as heating system turns off after a while otherwise expect a cold night! My wife had problem getting in touch with me as reception refused to transfer her call to my room unless she knew my room number. Clean room otherwsie and quite centr Noise can be a let down, not exactly sure what it was, I was woken up by some machinery […] noise early in the morning- I guess it might be the bin truck. Exactly what you would expect from a Holiday Inn Express. Clean, comfortable and reasonably priced for the location. We stayed for one night at this hotel and cannot fault the hospitality that we received. It was opposite a main railway station and the buses into the city centre stopped outside or opposite. The car parking area was also quite secure.

This Holiday Inn Express did not provide dining facilities, however the receptionist was very helpful providing me with directions, take away menus and use of crockery when i arrived quite late in the evening.

The lift floor was more appropriate to a goods lift. The access to the non smoking room (307) stank of cigarette smoke. The door locks were known to be temperamental to guests but I was not advised how best to use the swipe card. The wall light fitting was missing it's shade and the shower drain hole cant have been cleared for months as water did not […] drain away and I'm surprised the cleaning staff didnt notice when washing the area! The room schedule stated Sky Sports News on ch13 and instead it was the Challenge channel! The chairs were rock hard and there was no proper desk as Im used to at the HI express in B'ham Queensway. The breakfast for both mornings consisted of 2 trays of sausages and 1 tray of bland scrambled eggs and 1 tray of baked beans. Had somebody stolen the weekends supply of bacon? This is a standard holiday inn.

Couldn't fault the hotel. The service was exemplary - two different receptionists and the breakfast waiter all charming. The room offered all that was needed, including a separate table and chair as well as the workstation. The hairdryer was welcome as that is not always present in lower end hotels, and the kettle had its own plug so you didn't have […] to unplug the tv or put the kettle on the floor as I have often had to do! They don't have an evening restaurant, but offer crockery and cutlery and don't mind you eating takeaways in your room if that is what you go for. The breakfast was complimentary - a refreshing change from the £7.50-£13-50 extra that is now the norm, and was perfectly good. I was impressed that the yoghurts were organic and and not standard issue catering ones. Mehr

This hotel was in a great location for our needs as we went to Bristol for the balloon festival and the festival bus stop was right outside the hotel. For night life & the city centre we had a 15 minute walk into town which was OK for us but not everyone wants a walk. Not really any bars or restaurants nearby.

No problems here, got a fantastic rate was really good value for money and also includes free hot buffet breakfast

Poor breakfast selection,hot food on offer, sausages, beans, and scrambeled egg when i enquired why no bacon i was informed that senior management does not allow it to be ordered Continental breakfast plastic cheese no selection of cold meats, eggs or tomatoes.The toasting bread was so thin that once toasted was like carboard.

hotel was ideal for one night,breakfast was very enjoyable.no complaints

no need for review, only thing was that i had requested double room, and was found to be a twin, however reception very helpful and after few minutes got me a double

booked this at very s hort notice so paid full price. Room was clean and tidy,bed comfortable,staff very pleasant and helpful. Was expecting a cold continental breakfast but found scrambled eggs and sausages were on offer as well

Central location with just 3 minutes walk from the Temple Meads Train station. No problem for finding the hotel. It is aesy to explore the city on foot and this is a quiet area on weekends. A curry restaurant is just next to the hotel if you're hungry. It's 6 minutes walk to the St Mary's Redcliffe, which claimed to be the third tallest parish church […] in England and tallest building in Bristol. Couldn't bothered by the complimentary continental breakfast - coffees, teas, juices, cereals, milk, croissants and etc. that are very basic. If you wanted to park within the hotel, be prepared to pay GBP4.50 for each overnight stay, but you may not have the parking space if you come back late as they always over-sold their gated car park that only has twenty spaces. All in all, I would recommend anyone to book this hotel in advance as I have saved over half price when compared to the rates as arrived. Above average services and bookings with Hotels.com will be identified as Expedia by the staff at the reception. Mehr

Neljä yötä huhtikuun alussa tässä hotellissa sujuivat hyvin. Vastaanotossa oli aina henkilö, jolta sai apua tarvittaessa. Hotelli oli kaikinpuolin siisti ja hyväkuntoinen, huone kauniisti kalustettu ja puhdas. Sijainti aivan rautatieaseman lähellä on hyvä, vaikkakin keskustaan oli noin 10 minuutin kävelymatka. Tosin bussit kulkivat muutaman minuutin […] välein rautatieasemalta keskustaan. Aamiainen oli riittävän monipuolinen. Mehr

Esta lejos del centro aunque al lado estación. Hay otro hotel al otro lado de la estación más barato y de igual estilo...

Hotel très bien situé, idéal en face de la gare et donc proche de la navette, mais chambre peu isolée du froid et du bruit. Même en ayant une chambre sur l'arrière on entendait bcp la circulation, et l'isolation des fenêtres n'est pas optimale, il y a bcp de perte de chaleur, surtout que les radiateurs ne sont pas très performants. Mais le staff est […] vraiment agréable et répond à toutes nos sollicitations et nous donne des conseils pour les itinéraires ou la recherche de monuments à visiter. Mehr

Hotel de paso a 15 minutos del centro comercial y frenta a estacion ded tren. Bien comunicado y agradable.

Ett bra standardhotell med det nödvändigaste. Rummet var rent och sängen skön. Det var endast en tågstation till Bath, där det finns många sevärdigheter. Frukosten ingick i priset och hotellet hade 20 parkeringsplatser i parkeringsgaraget. Parkeringen kostade endast £10 för 24 h. internet kostade dock £12 för 24 h, vilket jag tycker är dyrt och borde […] ingå i priset. Annars kan jag rekommendera hotellet. Mycket trevlig personal. This is a nice friendly hotel located near the railway station approximately 15 mins walk from City Center. Clean and well maintained, a real bargain for that cost. Suggested improvement is to spice up the breakfast a little with more dark bread.

L'améliorations de quelques détails transformerait cet hotel en agréable lieu de séjour : - réglage de la fermeture de la fenètre - renforcer un peu l'éclairage de la salle de bain - un cache ampoule était absent - l'éclairage provenant d'une lampe de chevet était chevrottant
