Die Chalets sind großzügig konzipiert und bestens ausgestattet, da fehlt es an nichts. Gut auch die Lage (schnell im Nationalpark, kostenfreie Internetnutzung, Prospektmaterial, naher Supermarkt). Der Service passt. Eine Empfehlung wert!

Ruhiges Hotel mit Kühlschrank, Kaffeekocher mit Kaffee, Tee, geräumige Zimmer, waren sehr zufrieden. Restaurant nebenan.

Ruhiges Hotel am Rande von Banff Besonders nett ist, dass die Zimmer einen Balkon haben.

individuell und modern gestyltes Hotel für Menschen, die weder rustikales Holzbohlenambiente noch Touristenbusse lieben. Zur Strasse hatte man das schönere Panorama, dafür etwas mehr Geräusche (Hotel liegt gleich am Highway, dafür direkt im Wald und nur wenige Minuten vom Skigebiet; nach Banff läuft man ein wenig oder fährt ca. 5 Min mit dem Auto). Hinten raus ruhiger mit Blick auf Wald und Hirsch. Netter kleiner hot tub ohne Trubel (wir waren immer alleine dort). Wunderbares Bistro mit exzellenter Küche, gutem Service und gemütlichem Kamin. Die Menschen am Empfang wechselten täglich, waren immer hilfsbereit, wenngleich auch unterschiedlich kenntnisreich und enthusiastisch. Wir waren offensichtlich zur Nebensaison im Winter dort, was den Preis erfreulich reduziert hat. Gute Ausgangsbasis für die drei Skigebiete der Region. Kleinen Punktabzug gab es für einen lauten air-conditioner in einem Zimmer und für die Tatsache, dass es keinen frei nutzbaren Computer gab (wir hatten keinen Laptop mit und der Rechner in der Bibliothek kostetet 5 $ pro halbe Stunde). Ansonsten haben wir uns aber ausgesprochen wohl gefühlt und kommen jederzeit gerne wieder.
Lage

Alle Unterkünfte bieten folgende Ausstattung: Schreibtische sowie kostenlose Ortsgespräche (möglicherweise gelten Einschränkungen). "The Rimrock in Banff Alberta"
The staff were friendly, helpful, service with a smile but unobtrusive. Surroundings were beautiful as this is away from the beaten path in the middle of nature. Comfortable spacious room and an elegantly styled and appointed facility. Possibly pricey but appropriate for this caliber of a property.

The Rimrock Resort Hotel is in an excellent location, We had breakfast at the Primrose Restaurant and it offered a very nice view of the mountains. We found the standard room that we stayed in spacious and comfortable. The hotel staff was professional and friendly. Overall, we were very impressed and would definitely stay there again.

"The Hayde Stay"
We were very impressed with our stay in the Rimrock Hotel. We loved the Ginerbread House in the Lobby. Person checking us in could have been a little more friendly. She totally ignored me as I was standing next to my husband. The Hotel was comforting and relaxing and we all agreed it would stay on the HAYDE List. "Relaxing resort with all amenities"
We have been staying here overnight with our family of 6 for the past few years on our way to locales further into the BC interior. Very comfortable accomodations,great service and all the amenities for a fun and relaxing couple of days.The service has always been great and the concierge even located a copy of a book in 24 hours that one of our sons […] needed to read over the Christmas holiday and had forgotten to bring along! Incredible hotel. Great staff and gorgeous rooms. I think it is the best kept secret in Banff. I think it is the best hotel in town. Walking distance to the hot springs!

"Friendly attentive staff at Rimrock!"
Beautiful hotel located right beside outdoor hotsprings! Valet parking with underground heated parking to keep car warm in frigid temperatures. Great breakfast buffet on weekends for $20--superb value!! Well appointed rooms and very friendly staff! Would certainly recommend and return. Undergoing renovations in change room, sauna etc so those were closed. […] Minor inconvenience for new upgrades coming soon! Excellent light dinner at the Lounge near the giant fireplace. Mehr
"Rimrock - beautiful view and pet friendly"
We really enjoyed this hotel in Banff and that it was pet friendly. I was pleased to see that they supplied food and water dishes (even with a milkbone) as well as a dog bed. I would stay here again! I was impressed with how decent the room prices were for being so posh like!

The location of the hotel is the best. But, the quality of services is not comparable as other 4-star hotel.

"Rimrock Hotel in Banff Alberta"
This was a reunion of three friends who had not been together for 40 years. We enjoyed the mountain view from our room and the fact that we could open up the window to get some of that mountain air. It was all about connecting with each other and our lives so enjoyed a bottle of wine in our room. A late dinner in the Primrose dining room - food was […] amazing and we were not rushed. In the morning we enjoyed a carafe of coffee in our room before checkout. A skiff of snow and we were on our way. Great place to share memories. Thanks Mehr
"Pet Friendly-Sort Of"
Stayed with 2 dogs at $35/animal. Room across the hall supplied with pet bed and feeding bowl but not supplied to us despite request to bellperson when checking into room. Will likely stay at a Fairmont next time which has more pet friendly policy.

Not walking distance to the town as I thought we would be. Need to drive a car into centre of town and traffic can make it a difficult option. The hotel is beautiful and the food is excellent...so it's not too hard to be stuck there!

"The Rimrock Hotel in Banff"
The hotel staff were very accommodating and pleasant to work with. We ate at Evan's Restaurant and the meal and service were both exceptional! The hotel room was very clean and the view was beautiful. The bed was a little too hard for our comfort, but overall we would gladly recommend this hotel.

"The Rimrock Resort Hotel - Banff"
Beautiful hotel. We were disappointed the Diva Lounge no longer has live music but still enjoyed. We did not partake of the Primrose Dining room but used the Larkspur Lounge a lot. Convenient to the Upper Hot Pool which we liked. Very lovely place and warm decor. Would highly recommend.

Good hotel in a convient location close to Hot Springs and Banff Gondola. Free bus service to town makes evening dinner trips less stressful. Grand View room a must.

"Rimrock Resort Low Standards"
This is beautiful facility in Banff National Park. We had a fantastic view from our room. Unfortunately the rooms keys we were given did not work requiring a return to guest services. We stayed for two nights and when we returned to the hotel at 4:15 after being out and about for 7+ hours we returned to relax before dinner. Unfortunately our room had […] not been tended to by then. When I called housekeeping they told me they aim to complete all rooms by 5:00 and would tend to ours right away. When I asked the concierge what the hotels standards for tending to rooms was, he stated the goal was 6:00 for remaining guest and 4:00 for newly arriving guests. Nice to know new guests are more valuable to the resort the guests who are already there. Premium rates without premium service. Mehr
"Rooms need a good clean"
Piles of dust when curtains in room were pulled back and beds were some of the most uncomfortable I have ever slept on. Expect better from this hotel

"The view was spectacular; the service not so much."
As always the view was stunning. However in the morning I noticed I did not receive a paper. When I asked if I could receive one, I was informed I could buy one at the coffee shop. I guess some guests are better than others. Later in the morning when I was in the mood for a late morning meal, I was erroneously informed that I couldn't be served on the […] terrace. Again I was directed to the coffee shop for a 'light meal'. They're really pushing this coffee shop. Mehr
"Beautiful setting"
This hotel is divided into south and north wings. South wing has more of the courtyard views and some mountain view, whereas the north wing is solely focused on the mountain views. All rooms have a view and are facing out. Pool/jacuzzi facility could be better. We didn't have any problems at the hotel, everything was great.
"Excellent view, but that cant be everything.."
On our recent family trip to the Rockies we stayed in many types and quality of hotels/motels and many lower classed ones I have praised because their service exceeded my, perhaps prejudiced, expectations. The Rimrock was kinda the opposite. it is in a beautiful location and the Reception and Public areas are all very nice in a faux-Highland Castle […] sort of way. But the room could have been transposed into the much more humble Holiday Inn at Calgary Airport that we had stayed the night before and you would not have been able to tell the difference. Nearly $20 for a days wifi (trust me I got my moneys worth uploading all my Photos taken to that point), $15 to park your car and thats if you do it yourself.. I resent tipping nearly an hours net pay for someone to do a job I can do myself in 5 minutes.. Maybe thats a bit European.. The Pool and Sauna were indeed a welcome substitute for the very busy Hot Springs just up the road, But all in all the Rimrock flattered to deceive..You pay more to stay, but for that you have to pay even more for things that cheaper hotels give for free, The Car parking was no more secure, the wifi was no quicker or reliable and nearly everying left in the room for your benefit were chargeable.. The whole experience just left a nasty taste in the mouth, it felt like a rip off... It takes more than a good view to make a great hotel.. Mehr

"Excellent Experience at the Rimrock"
We couldn't have been happier with our choice to stay at the Rimrock. We were in Banff attending a wedding at the Banff Springs where we were offered a room rate, but at twice the price of the rooms at the Rimrock, we had to reconsider staying at the Springs and looked to the Rimrock for our stay. We were not disappoineted! The valet that greeted us […] was very knowledgeable and prompt as was the front desk clerk, our room had a partial view of the mountains with a nice balcomy overloooking the entry way. THe king size bed was ubercomfortable (unlike the beds at the Springs that our friends told us only came in Queen). We had a very nice spacious bathroom. The hotel amenities were wonderful, we sat on the sunny patio of the lounge and shared some complimentary salted nuts which were awesome. The staff was all very friendly and helpful and even when we ordered room service at 1 am, the meal came quickly and was over our expectations in portion size. Overall it was am amazing experiece and I would definately recommend this hotel to anyone who is travelling to Banff. 5 Star service. Mehr

This hotel is starting to look tired....the rooms need a total revamp. The swimming pool is very small and open to the public as well as hotel guests. The location (away from the town and in the mountains) is great for the views but you have to rely on the free bus or a vehicle to get to and from town. The last bus from town is 11pm so your evening […] entertainment is limited unless you get a cab back to the hotel. I would give this 4-star hotel 3 stars at the most. The $16+ tax overnight parking charge is too high and one feelsone is being held to ransom because there is no alternative. Mehr
"the rimrock"
I would not recommend this hotel. It was nice enough and clean, as long as you dont look under the tablecloth. It was very expensive, the restaurant was my biggest issue, there was no selection on the menu, only 4 or 5 items, and not very good, but it sure was expensive.
