For the price and the location close to the airport it is acceptable. It is however a little loud in the rooms and you can hear the TV in the room next door. bring earplugs and you will sleep well.

There was a shuttle from the airport, but the driver only took us to the hotel next door, said it "wasn't his problem" that we weren't staying there. Nice dinner at Holiday Inn next door. The MOST uncomfortable bed we've ever slept in - although they said it was new bedding, we think they forgot to put the mattress on top of the box spring! Whole room […] VERY small. Good things - free WiFi (only in the lobby), breakfast included (although 2 tour buses were in line right ahead of us and food ran out), shuttle back to the airport. Mehr

I have stayed in many different hotels over the past few years, both cheap and expensive. Of course I realize that you cannot expect the comfort of a 5 star hotel in a hotel with rates like this, however, I do expect a decent bed. Let's start with the positive points: the room and the hotel in general looks nice and is clean. There's no restaurant, […] but the Holiday Inn next door, within 2 minutes walk, has good food for decent pricing. Breakfast was good. The free WiFi turned out to work only in the lobby and the in-room Internet was as expensive as a monthly ADSL subscription. However, what really ruined my stay was the bed. Worst. Bed. Ever. Not one spring in my back, no at least 10. Woke up several times during the night because my back hurt from the extremely bad bed. Also, somewhere in the night, in an adjacent room an alarm clock went off and kept going for at least an hour, probably an empty room. However, nowhere in the room a phone number for reception was to be found. Eventually, I decided to call the "alarm number" to be called in case of fire, that was printed on the door. Nobody answered it. After about an hour, somewhere around 1:30, hotel staff came up and turned it off, however, they were so loud that anyone who wasn't awake already would have certainly woken up (they were literally screaming at eachother). For a hotel in this price range, EUR15 for parking is rediculous. Finally: this hotel is located in the Dutch speaking part of Belgium, however, the personnel insisted on speaking French (I even had one switch to English when I started speaking Dutch to them). Don't work in a hotel in the Flemish region if you're not at least willing to try to speak Dutch to your customers. Mehr

I was slightly apprehensive about this hotel having seen a number of low ratings, but the price and location won me over as I only needed somewhere to spend a night before an early flight. As it turns out, the low ratings were, in my opinion, unjustified. Perhaps the hotel has improved recently, or I was lucky with my room, but I am entirely satisfied. […] The room was comfortable, though by no means spacious. No 'normal' facilities were missing or substandard, even the breakfast was very reasonable. Apparently I can't say how much I paid, but it was certainly a lot cheaper than staying anywhere in Brussels proper, and the price of the stay included a shuttle bus to the airport. 'Fitness area' is just in a hallway somewhere, bicycle (1 of 3 options) didnt work. Asked at the reception (which was very busy btw, only 1 guy working, constantly busy - not his fault, he was still very kind) but there was nothing the guy could do, he claimed. The rooms are not good isolated, lots of noise from neigbouring rooms and airplanes. Restaurant […] is at the normal holiday inn. Breakfast budget nothing terrible. good if you're trying for easy access to the airport, but otherwise, not a great location for tourists. however, the staff = amazing. especially fatima. bowled over at the level of service. appreciated the airport shuttle service. rooms were good-sized and clean.

Thi place is almost impossible to find, and your directions did not help. Good price. Room clean. Free shuttle airport. . Internet costs. Airplanes flying overhead till 11 PM. 0 PM. You stay here when your plane is leaving the next day.

I would not stay here again for several reasons. No WiFi in the room, room is heated by two small electric heaters, very outdated, walls are paper thin so you will hear your neighbours and everything that goes on in the hall way. Shuttle bus goes irregularly and infrequently.

I stayed for 6 nights here. Its far from city and public transport. There is nothing to do around this place. No dinner/lunch available in the hotel. Its purely no frills budget hotel with horrendous rates per night.

I can recommend this hotel for anyone that just wants to have a no thrill, but clean and comfortable stay in the Bruxelles airport area (Zaventem). There is a shuttle bus to/from the airport, a parking lot (15,00 EUR per 24 hours to be paid extra) and the hotel is close by the Bruxelles Ring highway. Bathroom needed updating; mold around tub. Mattresses and bedding new--very nice. Walls extremely thin and could hear tour bus group in the halls during the night and early morning. Computer in bsn center not working. Breakfast buffet very good--many choices. Man who checked us in was very helpful and professional. I would not recommend this hotel. There was a problem with there internet, so there was no internet service. They were not willing to provide a shuttle 15 minutes earlier to make my flight. Overall, they were not accommodating to me what so every. I suggest finding another hotel at Brussels Airport.

Internet service was out. I had to walk to the nearby Holiday Inn to use their free internet. The rooms appeared worn looking like a very old hotel that need renovating.

We booked this for an additional night's stay in Brussels, as our flight left at noon the next day and we didn't want to sweat the morning traffic. Cost was modest, shuttle was free (book the night before as they require reservations). Cab fare from the Grote Markt area about the same as to the airport--i.e. 40 Euros. 5 mins shuttle from/to airport, a great stop on the way /from Brussels.

it's very convinient location next to the airport and the city. But a lot of things are not what we used to in USA: break in a shuttle bus service about 21/2 hours, and the bus drops you on the parking lot and you have to find your way to catch a flight by yourself, Internet access is not free 10 euro for 1/2 of hour, I placed wake-up call but nobody […] called, hairdryer didn't work, there was no hand lotion in the bathroom and besides "sorry" nobody cares. In the morning there was no coffee in the machine, only chocolate.... Mehr

It was very hot in Belgium this weekend and there as no air-conditioning. No Fan, the only way to get air into the room was to have the door open and the window open, so everyone that walked past could see what we were doing. With the window open you got the noise of the planes. The room was very small. Food was not available except from next door, […] you guessed it, at the Holiday Inn and then it was either expensive bland sandwiches or expensive BBQ. Not happy Jan. Mehr

During night it is difficult to reach the hotel as some taxis refuse to take fares for short distances.

For the money, the room was tiny and unattractively appointed. We couldn't get a room with one bed, so we got two twins instead; hotel was nearly full, so I guess I can't level that as a complaint. Parking was extra. Internet was extra. Generally just not a terribly good experience.

The hotel is very convient to the aiport with a shuttle service during morning and afternoon hours. But the bed is very uncomfortable, and the carpet had big stains on it- a very tired feel. Also at breakfast mug and sugarbowl was not clean at all. The choice for dinner is also very limited since it's a business area and not much to choose from.

...extra charges for internet and car parking were an unwelcome and expensive addition to the basic price. The buffet breakfast was adequate at best, I am glad it wasn't busy when I went to eat! No facilities for an evening meal in this hotel - they point you in the direction of the adjacent Holiday Inn. By European standards, great room for the money and everything was very clean.

EVERYTHING WAS GREAT EXCEPT THE EXTREMELY HARD MATTRESS. ALL ELSE WAS FINE, ESPECIALLY THE BREAKFAST. DESK CLERK WAS COURTEOUS AND HELPFUL.

We felt we paid a reasonable rate for the hotel and were grateful to find something close to the airport especially given morning traffic in Brussels. The shuttle service was invaluable.

The hotel met our needs as we wanted to be near the airport. The staff was friendly. The room was clean but very small. I expected a little more for the rate we paid.

Min venninne ble frastjålet veske med pass med visum og alle reisedokumenter under frokosten i hotellets frokostrom! To lommetyver masjerte rett inn fra gaten UTEN noen tilsnakk eller oppmerksomhet fra resepsjonisten til tross for at de måtte passere ham! Slik mangel på sikkerhetsrutiner går ikke an i dagens Europa. Min reisefelle og venninne måtte […] derfor reise hjem, og jeg alene til India. Dette hotellet kan derfor ikke anbefales!!! Mehr

Enkel standard, men hyggelig betjenning. Anbefalles kun som en overnattingssted for en natt mellom flyreisene. Ingenting av serverdigheter rundt hotellet.

Dette hotellet har ok standard, men det viktigste for et hotell som stort sett har gjennomreisende kunder, er SENGA. Den er steinhard, og du kjenner spiralene fra madrassen i ryggen!!

je n ai pas digéré le payement de 15€ pour le parking , je ne le savais pas ou j aurais choisi un autre hôtel , mon boss ne veut pas me rembourser !

Pga tidlig fly dagen etter, valgte vi dette hotellet. Smart valg i forhold til at det er mye trafikk på veiene rundt sentrum. Men hotellets beliggenhet er nok ikke mitt førstevalg med tanke på uteliv etc. Ikke så hyggelig på utsiden av hotellet, men positivt overasket da vi kom inn.

Confortable et pratique, plus le prix est bon!

With my wife I travelled to Lyon from Brussels and booked this hotel for one night (31.12.10 - 01.01.11). In my opinion for the price it is a good choice. Rooms are neat and clean. Got to it from Brussels center by taxi for 40 euro. There is a free shuttle to airport.
