Das Hotel ist ideal gelegen, um die Stadt zu Fuss zu erkunden. Die U-Bahn ist aber auch nur 5 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt. Wir hatten ein geräumiges Zimmer - alles wunderbar!

Die Mtiarbeiter im Hostel sind sehr nett und die Zimmer sind soweit auch okay. Die Bettwäsche schien sauber, wenn auch abgenutzt. Die Waschräume waren nicht immer geputzt, besonders die Böden in der Dusche waren oft gewöhnungsbedürftig. Alles in Allem kann man aber im Maze übernachten.

Service, Frühstücksbüffet und Lage waren ausgezeichnet. Zimmer etwas abgewohnt aber mit guten Matratzen und traumhaften Blick auf Darling Harbour!

Nettes und sehr hilfsbereites Personal am Empfang. Zimmer etwas klein, aber ausreichend. Frühstück übersichtlich aber für ein paar Tage o.k. Vom Hotel aus alles sehr gut zu Fuß zu erreichen bzw. fahren die öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel in der Nähe ab (Bus zum Bondi Beach, Bahn zum Flughafen). Die Gemeinschaftstoiletten und -duschen waren sauber und ausreichend vorhanden. Wer genau liest, was er bucht (Basicfrühstück, Gemeinschaftsbad) wird zufrieden sein.

"Close to transport and sights"
I stayed here with three children nine ten and eleven, and was very pleased with the comfort cleanliness and convenience of the hotel and would use the hotel if I ever have to stay in Sydney again.

It was great. Those Heavenly Beds really are heavenly. Tiny reminder for front desk staff - do not address all your greetings to the male half of the couple. Bad move, in view that the booking and payment were both in my name. Oops. Unforgivable in these enlightened days....

Great hotel, service, room, comfort.. only blot was when my husband and I walked up to the checkin desk the operator ONLY greeted my husband, and continued to do so until he realised the booking was in my name and on my credit card. Bit of a whoops in the 21st century I think. Rest of stay was great.

If you are looking for a hotel with a good pool facility, the Westin is not for you. For a top hotel, it offers a very poor facility in this sense. Otherwise, it is a very good hotel, well located and certainly most of the staff are very courteous and helpful. Housekeeping does need to improve though - our room was not cleaned properly. Cups that were […] used the night before had a bit of tea that dried up overnight and that cup was just put back in the drawer to be used again. I thought that was unacceptable. "Westin MartinPlace Sydney"
The hotel is has a very glamorous foyer especially at Christmas and the rooms are very clean and up to date but the air conditioning inour room was so noisy we couldn't sleep. This may not worry some but as we come from a farm we are used to quiet and the roar of the air con was quite disturbing, Eveything else was wonderful.

We have stayed at the Westin several times over the years. Overall the Hotel is excellent except for a few small points. Firstly it was Easter (and my wife's Birthday) and there was no evidence of any recognition that it was Easter. For a Hotel of this standing, that was dissappointing. The room was not as clean as I expected and the "heavenly" pillows […] that we thought were so fabulous on our last trip were quite tired. Recreate Heaven by getting new pillows. The bathroom miror was loose and when reported was promptly fixed. Mehr

I love staying here. Its faultless. The only trouble is you want to spend more time in the room instead of going out sight seeing. The beds are so comfortable and the bathtub so relaxing. The room service is so quick and the food is great. I will be staying here every time.

Amazing hotel right in the heart of the Sydney CBD. The Westin has the most comfortable beds in the world and the bathroom is fantastic! I would highly recommend this hotel - it is very central to everything!

We stayed in Westin for 3 nights in weekend, so it was quite busy in hotel. Westin got excellent location in the heart of Sydney city, close to shop, transports and must-sees. All services in hotel are good, bed is very comfortable as well. Apart from price is a bit high, everything perfect!

Modern luxury hotel in superb condition. Everything is new and clean but very, very expensive - small glass of wine USA$12-$18. It is positioned right in the CBD - easy walking to Circular Quay, Rocks, Opera House and Darling harbor - great position - the best.

Great layout, comfort, and location in Central Business District, which is the prime spot to stay other than Sydney Harbor / Rocks area. Lots of high-end shopping, bars/clubs, and landmarks nearby (e.g. Westfield Tower). Easy walk to either Sydney Harbor or Darling Harbor. HOWEVER, Westin refused my simple request on the final day to extend my checkout […] an hour from 11am to noon, making some lame excuse that they were expecting a busy rush on that Sunday. Gimme a break. An hour, not to irritate your customer - seems like an easy give. Think I'll stay at the Four Seasons or the Intercontinental next time. Mehr

The hotel was conveniently located, it was nice. The bed was small for king size bed. We had 2 small children but not small enough to sleep in a crib and not old enough to have their own room. Service was fine, although we didn't ask for much. Great location in the centre of Martin Place, fantastic location for shopping and for sight-seeing. Bed was very comfortable and room was clean. Great bathroom with separate large bathtub. Leisure facilities aren't great-sauna and pool is actually in an adjoining health club-you have to take a lift, a few stairs and walk through a few fitness rooms […] to get to the pool. Separate saunas in male and female changing rooms. Swimming pool is quite small and overlooks a fitness class room. Lots of choice for breakfast. Second stay at WESTIN SYDNEY. Our first was without fault which may have set us up for a disapointment. The room has seen better days and is suffering a lot of wear and tear. Chiped Tiles and stains in marble as well as loose cabinet door, toilet seat and bathroom entry door. The cabinet door was immediately fixed when we reported it to prevent further […] damage.When presented with our account we noted a deduction to a UN charity which we had not sanctioned. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay at The Westin. Hotel staff were very polite and professional. The king size bed was so very comfortable and the room was clean and tidy. Cannot recommend this Hotel highly enough. Well done and will definitely stay again next time I need to stay over in Sydney CBD.

"Outstanding"
It was such a joy to stay in a hotel with THE most comfortable bed I have ever slept on. We arrived early and were given a room immediately, the view was to die for. We felt the deal cost wise was excellent, with free breakfast and drinks/canapes in the evening in the executive club. Fabulous staff and service all round.

Excellent service, facilities and location. thoroughyl enjoyable stay. Would definitely stay here again when in Sydney and will recommend to friends. Tip: choose a tower deluxe room as the views are incredible!
