Though it is not a five star hotel I could not complain about something. The lobby stuff is very kind and reacts very fast on requests.

The location was excellent for our purposes, ie shopping, restaurant. The bed was not very comfortable. Very Old, with springs, creeping out of mattress. For a superior room I expected better.

it was a place to sleep if that's what you are looking for that is what you will get. If you are looking for anything more keep looking,

Super comfortable beds but the room smelled really odd. Not totally bad just odd... Didn't like that the receptionist was taking calls while I was checking in. It took me way to long to check in and I was late to an event.

Lots of room, clean. Great for the money

I was skeptical based on the super low price, but I was amazed to find updated accommodations that were clean and well kept. I would definitely stay here again.

Everything I needed for a couple of cheap nights. Comfortable, easy to find and get to, shopping and several restaurants nearby. Cheap, clean and comfortable. Will recommend and stay again if I'm in the Detroit-area.

My daughter made a reservation for this hotel and when she got there they tried to charge my credit card for two rooms. Wasn't happy about that. And then to top it off there was no microwave or refrigerator in the room. Turns out that a person has to request that. I think microwaves and fridges should be in every room.

Me and my fiance went out for his birthday weekend. We weren't looking for anything fancy, we just wanted to go somewhere reasonably priced, safe, clean and quiet where we could enjoy each other's company without any interruptions. I went on Hotels.com and they were having a daily special for this Red Roof Inn in Troy, MI and since we were already in […] the area we decided to ride past and check it out. After seeing the outside and the neighborhood we went online and booked the room right there in the parking lot! We were told that it could take about an hour for our reservation to show up in the system but ours was available in about 10-15 min. When we got to our room we were both shocked at how nice the room was! I never would have expected that from a Red Roof Inn. The lady at the front desk was so friendly and helpful. The room was clean. The area was quiet. The bed was so comfortable that we both slept in until an hour before check-out time! We will definitely visit this location again. Mehr

Attentive and accomodating staff. Room was better than expected at that price despite the holiday time period. Although not included, staff found a coffee maker for my wife which we used throughout our stay at no charge.

I have stayed at a few different Red Roof Inns, however I said I would never stay in another one. Well this hotel happened to be much cheaper than any of the surrounding ones so I gave Red Roof one more chance. Thankfully I did, I go the "Superior King" room and it had plenty of room. The surrounding area in Troy/Madison heights is great, not too much […] crime to worry about. The only thing I didn't like about the hotel is the same I don't like about a lot of lower-end hotels/motels...there is no business center or anywhere with access to a printer. Mehr

this is my first time here for red roof inn. I was in detroit for an interview so needed a place to sleep at night. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Would highly recommend!

Enjoyed the stay. Good place to stay. Everything clean. would stay again.

Other guests were very loud at 4AM and management did nothing about it. Bathroom was very dirty, hair was on the floor, on the shower curtain.

We went to Troy to go to a family wedding and needed a cheap place to stay. The Red Roof Inn offered the cheapest rates and a location close to all the shops! It was clean and the service was excellent. Our sink didn't drain properly but they said that they had put in the request the day before. A nice clean hotel at a very reasonable price that allow pets. Most hotels that allow pets are usually not this clean or nice, older place but has been updated & kept up nicely.

What a great stay. The price was great. It had a king bed with fridge and microwave. The shower was great. Very clean. Nice desk to work at. Only complaint is the tv. Old style. But I would definitely stay again.

Everything was exelent we booked on short notice got a good price and great service . Thanks again.

I reserved a non-smoking room & it was CLEARLY smoked in. Also, there was a half used miniature bottle of Pantene shampoo in the shower. Obviously the shower wasn't cleaned well. We did get a brown bag breakfast at checkout & that was a nice surprise.

Service was great. Room was clean. Convenience of location was excellent for me. Rates were beyond reasonable.

If you just need somewhere safe to sleep for the night, this works. It's bare bones but will do.

Quite comfortable and clean for the price BUT definitely no luxuries. No shampoo, conditioner or body lotion in room. On request, shampoo is available. Also, no hairdryer in room. Had to wait 45 minutes to get dryer as all available dryers were being used.

Other than the HVAC not really working, it was fine. the fan worked so that kept the air moving and the white noise at a good level. It met my price criteria.

Stayed here for five nights, had a good stay. Included a take-away breakfast bag.

I read a review stating that this Red Roof Inn was a good location, clean and very reasonable.....all was true! Very responsive to a noise concern, took care of the issue minutes after my complaint. I was little nervous about a room this cheap, but I was pleasantly surprised! Room was recently renovated, extremely clean! Cleaner that some more expensive rooms I have stayed in with other chains. Basic hotel for a low price. You get what you pay for. Bag breakfast contained muffin, apple, and bottle of water. Better than nothing, I suppose.

Wow i was very surprised on how great this hotel was especially for how good the price was. The room was very nice and clean too. It isn't to far from shopping either. I would definitely stay there again.

It met our needs for the price.

Hotel was easy to find off I75 and room was clean. Good value for price paid.

Our experience at the red roof inn was very nice. the room was very comfortable and the service was outstanding. We will definatley tell all of our friends and family of our terrific experience with your hotel. Next time we need to book a room we definatley will be using this service again. My partner and I stayed at the Red Roof while we explored the Somerset Collection and Great Lakes Crossing. This budget friendly hotel offered excellent service, a clean room that looked almost EXACTLY like the picture, and great access to the highway. My only issues, which were minor, included the television remote not working properly and the automated […] wake-up call system did not ring our room at the requested time... if you require this, make it through the front-desk directly... but the alarm clock was plenty loud!! While minor, the hotel is not close to many restaurants, so if you get the midnight hungeries you want to opt to order in. The hotel is close to Somerset Collection via the highway (about 10 minutes) and Great Lakes Crossing (about 30-40 minutes). If you are looking for a good stay, in a comfortable bed with a budget in mind, I would recommend Red Roof to anyone!! Mehr

The hotel was fine for the price. Room was clean, hotel was quite. Bed was a little uncomfortable at times. Not a 5 star hotel but not advertised as one either.
