die anbindung mit den öffentlichen verkehrsmitteln zur innenstadt ist super. das frühstück sehr dürftig, aber daß es 24/7 kaffe und tee umsonst gibt, haben wir oft gern genutzt. der preis schlägt alles! dashotel hat seine besten zeiten schon hinter sich. aber für den preis ist es top.

Es ist wirklich so schön, wie sie beschreiben. Die grosszügige und einladende Lobby in der ersten Etage diente u.a. dem Weinempfang aller an diesem Tag anreisenden Gäste. Allerdings scheint die Zeit auf 17 bis 18 Uhr begrenzt zu sein. Eher als Ausnahme bekam ich später noch einen Gutschein für die Bar, die nicht ganz so nett ist, wie die Lobby. Beim Frühstück im benachbarten Bistro muss man wissen, was man wählt, um nicht vom Amerikanischen Geschmack überrascht zu werden.

Zu unserer Ueberraschung war alles viel kleiner, als es in den Bildern erscheint. Der Fotograf hat einen super Job gemacht. Dennoch ist das Hotel eine sehr gute Wahl. Allerdings hatten wir eine Suite. Wir haben das Zimmer-Service-Fruehstueck nie genutzt, da es genug guenstige und gute Alternativen in der unmittelbaren Umgebung gibt.
Lage
Red Roof Inn Chicago - Willowbrook liegt in Willowbrook. Folgende Sehenswürdigkeiten befinden sich in der Region: Brookfield Zoo, Unity Temple und Frank Lloyd Wright Home and Studio.
Ausstattung
Ein kostenloser W-LAN-Internetzugang steht in den öffentlichen Bereichen zur Verfügung. Außerdem steht Folgendes zur Verfügung: Fitnessmöglichkeiten, Kaffee in der Lobby und kostenlose Zeitungen in der Lobby. Das Parken ohne Parkservice ist für die Gäste kostenlos.

"Just ok"
Asked for a smoking room, did not get one. Had to go outside the room to smoke. Even though i made resevations weeks before. They couldn't make a change because i was there for one night only. Room on the first floor, it was very noisy as people walked by. Something happed on the second floor some kind of flood, it was very noisy with all the trucks […] and suction pipes running all day. other than that, the room was confortable and clean. Mehr

"Not too bad & I'd probably stay here again"
Definitely close to shopping as there was a Target in the parking lot. The room was clean & safe with fresh coffee in the lobby. I was expecting a real bed not a mattress on a slab of wood. In spite of that it was comfortable. The room temperature was comfortable though I could not figure out how to get the air conditioner (fan) to turn on so that it […] wasn't stuffy. The hotel had me down for the wrong reservation & was going to charge me but a call to have the paid reservation info faxed over took care of that. The manager on duty was more than apologetic (not due to my phone call but because he saw all of my paperwork supporting my payment but couldn't get the computer to adjust the info accordingly fast enough & felt bad that I was waiting & was very appreciative of my patience while it was getting straightened out in the computer). Have stayed at this hotel many times. Its clean and comfortable and quiet. Always get a non-smoking room and have never had any problems until this last stay. Whoever had stayed in the room prior to us had definetly been smoking even though there were no smoking signs all around. Luckily it wasn't too cold and we just opened the door for a bit and turned […] on the air and that seemed to air the room out for us. Will still stay here again on the next trip. Mehr

This hotel is a trucker's haven. Rooms smell like old cigarettes & alcohol. Towels & bathroom did not look clean. Hotel is in a nice area & looks like it should be much nicer than what it is. Would not stay there ever again.

"Ok for short stay"
For the price you can't beat it. The front desk personnel is not helpful at all. Had to change the room. The room was booked for 3 persons but amount of room amenities for was 1. That shows how much the management cares. No microwave or fridge that's bad. Not sure that a red roof thing or not. Anyhow, if you are staying for a short time the price and […] location is not bad. Front desk clerk didn't even look up at us when we checked in and was far from friendly. She gave us rooms that were not cleaned yet when we opened the doors, so we had to carry all our luggage back to the front desk to get different rooms. On the way to our new rooms we had to walk over a blood trail coming from a broken room window two rooms down […] from the rooms we were given. Both the broken glass and blood were still there the next day, no one bothered to sweep up the glass or clean up the dna. The rooms themselves were fine, especially for the price, but I would not bring children there if they cannot be bothered to clean up broken glass and blood. Mehr

"A good basic room"
For a short stay near Interstate 55 and Route 83, the Red Roof Inn is the place for a decent room decent price. The hotel is close to shopping and restaurants.
"Perfect for what I wanted it for"
I was going away for one year anniversary with my girlfriend. We didn't want to break the bank, but we didn't want to suffer quality as well. The room was beautiful, had a flat screen tv, fridge, micro. It was so quiet, calm, and relaxing. Check in time is 1pm! which is pretty awesome, and check out time is 12pm. I would MOST DEFINITELY come back here […] again. It made for a most memorable stay. Mehr
"Decent motel for the price"
I needed to spend a night in Willowbrook and this was a decent place for that. The room is bare bones - with little more than a bed, bathroom and TV. Wi-Fi was available but was slow. The room was clean and cleaning staff was courteous. However, the front desk was terse and short. Didn't feel welcome and when calling for basic questions, it felt like […] she was more interested in hanging up quickly than answer my question. I am willing to look beyond that because I wasn't willing to pay more and upgrade to a better place. I got a 20% discount while booking. Again, decent motel for the price. Mehr

"get what u pay for"
overall for 1 night it was o.k. , I had a smoking room which obviously it would be a hint of smoke residue, , at 2:00 a.m. a wife and husband were fighting in the parking lot, and some hillbillies were trying to get their car started with a can of wd40 and a broom handle, but the room itself is o.k.

"Poor WiFi service"
Standard Red Roof, very basic but adequate. Adequately maintained. Biggest complaint: the free wifi is useless during peak hours, barely adequate other times.
We've stayed at this hotel several times in the last few years. Rooms are clean, staff is friendly and its easy access to the highway.
Hotel was good for the price. Beds were alittle hard. and the light above the sink didn't work. But overall good for the price.

The hotel was next to Target and close to other chain stores. The outside was a bit dirty, but our room was clean. There was a slight musty smell that went away when the AC was on. Perhaps it wasn't the receptionist's best day, but when we were there, she had no people skills at all, nor could she accomplish more than one small task at a time. However, […] the morning receptionist was much, much better. There was no microwave or fridge in the room, nor in the reception area. Worst feature was the Wi-Fi, which only worked in the lobby, and even then it was worse than the old dial-up. But for the price, it was worth it. Mehr

"Nice for the price!"
Very basic, clean room. Bed was not the most comfortable, and it doesn't come with the extra ammmenities, but that's why you get a fair price! Plus, the location is convenient and the staff is very friendly and helpful!
"Honest Staff"
My mother accidentally left a bag of jewelry when we checked out of the room. When we called back nine hours later, they had it with all the contents. Thanks Red Roof Inn in Willowbrook!

I was impressed with the cleanliness and location for the price. Near restaurants and shopping. I liked the microwave and refrigerator in the room. I was overall impressed and didn't expect as much as I received for the price.

The outside of the hotel was not as good as I had expected but the room itself was excellent. Based on what I paid this was a very good deal. If your client is going to see your hotel, I would not stay here, if they are not and you need a no frills place this is a good bet.

First of all, the exterior of the hotel looked nothing like the picture on the website, dilapitated and dirty exterior, the carpets looked like they hadn't been cleaned in ten years... We were only staying one night. But wait till you hear the fun part.... Someone tried breaking in at 1AM... "Disappointing, to say the least..."
First room we were given was like a sauna. There was an adjustible heat/cool unit, but it's highest cool setting couldn't make a dent in the heat coming from the above-door radiator. We assumed it was controlled by the thermostat, but adjusting it made no difference. Our second room had a leaky toilet that flooded the carpet area around the bathroom […] overnight. All other "ammenities" were very questionable and the person who checked us in less-than-friendly. Mehr

I have never been treated so poorly by the staff. my room toilet made noise all night i asked for a different room and no help. The was dirty including the tub I had to go and buy a bottle of bleech to clean the tub so i can take a shower thats how bad never again
