The desk represenative was exceptional in friendliness, helpfulness, and cheerfulness. The amenities of the hotel included free shuttle to and from the airport, free parking up to two weeks, and located just 15 minutes from the airport itself. The hotel looks nice from the outside but the inside is very dated and looks like its falling apart. The walls are paper thin and our room had yellow stains on the wall above the bed. There was a hair on the toilet seat and no towels in the room. Inmates have better living quarters than this place!

The bed was hard as concrete. The television and the cable sucked. Major upgrade is needed.

It was a great location, not right off the interstate but if you have a GPS you can find your way back on. The food at the dinner next door was great! Stayed two nights, first night was great, second night, they forgot to clean the room and the towels where locked up. I asked for a discount or food credit, there was a sorry and that was it!

This was a great place to stay but the sheets were like paper. They are not really hard but when ever you moved they sounded like paper. It made it hard to sleep. The road construction was bad to get in and out. Rooms were nice and clean,

We booked this hotel because it was a good price, free shuttle to airport, and free parking for your car while we were gone on vacation. Front desk was nice and helpful. We would stay here again.

Very close to airport, free shuttle to and from airport, complimentary parking while away, helpful and pleasant staff, good breakfast, and very reasonable rate. Why wouldn't you want to stay here? I will use this motel anytime I am needing a flight out of SLC.

The only dissatisfaction I had was that the sheets were crinkly and made a lot of noise, as if they were made of a plastic and cotton blend. Otherwise the staff was friendly, the area was quiet and the hotel itself was nice.

Room dirty, outdated. Beds the absolute worst!! Carpet dirty. Bedcover dirty with stains.

Check in was easy room was not hard to find. Upon entering it did seem nice & clean. Then as I sat and worked on my computer I could hear the people upstairs too well then heard people also in rooms next door. On top of that there was a light out just above the tub so most would not notice how horrible it looked. The view was of industrial buildings […] and the internet was not reliable. The TV channels were decent and the king size bed was clean and comfortable. In the morning tho the breakfast was lousy and the only place to eat that was close happen to be closed that day. the comfort of the room has a lot to be desired, the sheets felt like they were mattress covers used in old folk homes, almost like plastic. Also the cleaning staff missed certain items, like trash and maintenance issues.

The major highlight of the Baymont hotel was the friendly service. The front desk personel and especially the shuttle drivers were very friendly. Our room was very clean and well maintained. After […] staying 1 night before our early flight out they allowed us to leave our car parked at their hotel for free for the rest of our vacation. When we returned, we simply phoned the hotel and they quickly sent a shuttle driver out to pick us up and they dropped us off right by our car. They provide a great value and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone needing a place to stay before an early flight. They also have a complimentary breakfast that starts at 6:00 AM. Looking for a place to sleep near the airport? Then this is just fine. A quality business. If you're looking for high luxury, great class, or an extravagant location, then keep looking.

The room was expected for the money a bit out dated and the beds were a bit lumpy. But the price was fair and the staff were all nice. The hotel was clean and quiet.

For the price, we got what we expected. The only complaint we have is that the heating system in our room was very poor. We never got the fan to blow hot hair the whole time we were there. Other than that, we were satisfied with our stay.

very reasonable, includes breakfast, convenient .. Beds are a little on the hard side.

Everything as ok except the the shower water was luke warm and the internet was slow and I could never get out going mail to work. It hot water was fixed for the second day. Also the room was very small

All we needed was a bed for the night prior to sn airport departure and the hotel servred that purpose. I have stayed at surrounding hotels and was much happier with with the accomodations elsewhere- also, no elevator at this hotel, you are handling your own bags up & down stairs

I have stayed here four times least and keep forgetting how old this facility is. Nice staff, location OK for OR if you have a car, but a very dated facility.

Where to start? First of all the airport part is a little misleading. Its not that close. I arrived late so the only option for food, because I had no car, was to order delivery pizza. My luggage was nearly 50 lbs which is a problem when room is on 2nd floor and informed at desk (with sympathetic shrug) that there is no elevator. Room had strange smell […] when I entered that I could not quite figure out. The next evening when I arrived the smell went from strange to a skunk smell. By the way, make sure you get up early while there to get the hot water. My first morning I was in the shower by 7:45 but apparently some others at the Baymont had gotten to the water earlier. My shower was lukewarm at best. The next morning I was in shower by 6am and everything seemed fine. On a positive note, they had shuttle service in form of van to the Salt palace for the convention that I was in town for. Thank goodness we stopped the driver before he pulled out. he had forgot to shut his back door and our bags would have been scattered all over the parking lot. I have no plans of returning. Mehr

Not a bad stay. Employees were courteous and helpful, shuttle service and free 2-week parking were huge bonus and hot tub was nice. However TV didn't work well when playing a rented movie (did get a refund for that) and the toilet didn't work properly.

The staff is always nice, and the hotel is fine anytime other than the cold winter months. However, never stay here in winter, as there are only cheap air/heat units in the rooms which do not regulate temperature. The maids do not leave the heat on, so you will arrive to a very cold room (indoor temps in the high 30s), and then after turning on the […] heat control, you will have to get up every two hours or so to turn it off, and then on later, doing this repeatedly all night. Nothing fancy, but clean and comfortable with a friendly and helpful staff. The airport shuttle and free parking make this the perfect hotel for air travelers.

This place was close to the airport and the price was right. Nothing fancy but sufficient for a nights stay.

I spent almost a week in the Hotel when attanding a business conference and spent a couple of sightseeing days in the neighbourhood. It was a good value for money. The rooms were clear, the breakfast was ok (concerning the star rating of the hotel) . I can warmly suggest it in case you spend couple of days there.

Not someplace that we would willingly return to.

The room did not have enough power outlet to connect electronics. I found lots of spider in the room, also The TV remote did not work, and it was very difficult to get someone to fix the problem.

Most important thing for us was that was close to the airport and had a good breakfast. We arrived late and departed early.

This hotel is not worth to consider even if you just crash for the night to catch plane in the morning. The airport shuttle runs only once an hour. The room is not all that clean. The wifi is so slooooow. There are so many options in SLC just 10 minutes away you can get much better options.

I stayed at the hotel for 3 nights and the staff was VERY friendly (letting me check out late so I could lay by their wonderful pool for a little bit longer) and helpful (let me put a pizza in their fridg and faxed some items for me). Breakfast was good too! Construction is a pain but that wasn't the hotel's fault! I would definitely stay there again! Very disappointed. The room was disgusting. There were bugs crawling on the bathroom floor. The beds were very uncomfortable. There was an over powering odor of a horrible smelling disinfectant. The Baymont was a little old and run down but I could tell they had fixed it up and overall it was nice. I guess if you were flying it would be very convenient but that is not what we were doing. There were numerous notable issues with my stay at the Baymont Inn at SLC. The nicest thing I can say about this hotel is that (surprisingly) the pool was very nice. Other than that, I was dissatisfied or disappointed with almost every other aspect of my stay. We arrived late at night, stayed one night and got the hell out!!!!!

The hotel seemed a little run down this time. It is our second visit. Our first visit was April 2010. The hall carpet was dirty. There seemed to be some needed repairs. But, the room was comfortable ofr a one night stay to catch an early morning flight. Breakfast was as can be expected from such. The desk clerk made a few errors during check-in. I think […] her shift was about over and her mind wasn't focused, But, the other desk clerk resolved our issues for us.
