It looks they might be trying to resurrect this old gal. Serious attention needs to be paid to the walkways and hallways. Everything needs a good pressure washing, and in my opinion daily. There is no excuse for dirt. The room while tidy, smelled as if the surfaces had been wiped down with a sour rag. Nothing smells worse than that. When we walked into […] the front door vestibule, there was a dirty rag in the corner. Not a great welcome to the front desk. There is a tired dingy sadness about the entire property. A little cleaning would go a long way. Spit shine and polish and she could be good as new. They are not lacking on pleasantness. We paid nearly 150.00/night because it was race week. "Works for the night."
Older hotel in good shape. Thank goodness it has the old in room air conditioners. It was the perfect white noise for the train. Hotel is right next door from Amtrak park and go! We stopped on a NHRA race weekend so I think the rates were a little higher than normal. No Waffles on breakfast bar. no microwave in the room though it was advertied. It was loud, there was a train going by several times during the night. The person at the counter was rude, when I quesiond why he was writing down my credit card info on a peice of paper his response was "go stay somewhere else". I said I will then he reminded me the room was already paid for and because […] it was a Sunday I couldn't cancel the reservation. I don't understand how I can make a reservation at 2pm on Sunday and can't cancel after 4pm the day Saturday the day before. I reserved 2 nights and didn't stay the second. "difficult to find, but very clean"
The location was difficult because it's part of an unusual cloverleaf exit off I85. Especially hard in a driving rain storm. The only ice machine was a long walk and I had a broken knee, but once I was settled in the room I never left until check out the next morning. Unconcerned about false advertisement. info indicated microwaves in rooms. but did not have any in the rooms. the wifi did not work in the rooms had to stand on the balcony to get connected then it would disconnect. when reported the manager said his was working fine. The only bad part of the stay was the crazy lane to our immediate right that you need to hop right into once you get off I85. Watch out for speedy traffic that doesn't want to let you merge; the hotel is easy to miss because of this merge/access lane. Other than that, the hotel stay was really nice. Clerks were friendly. Room was nice, bed was comfy, […] as were the pillows. Room had a little fridge/freezer, too. Shower water pressure and temp was good. Does have those skinny little white hotel towels, which aren't big enough for much, but that's no big deal. We brought a couple of our normal towels just because I remembered. We chose this place over another in the area b/c it had a king option and my 6'2" fiance really likes a bigger bed. MehrAuthentische Hotels.com-Gästebewertung

"Great hotel for softball tournaments."
Room was great. Only complaint would have been that the AC was loud when it was running, but the AC was working fine which was great since it was near 100 degrees everyday of our visit. Pool and workout facilities were clean. Would definitely stay there again, and recommend to friends/family.Authentische Expedia-Gästebewertung
