The hotel location (EZ access to I69 / I94 and downtown Port Huron) was great. Further, who can complain about a free breakfast (waffles, eggs, toast, etc)! Staff is very friendly. The continental breakfast was good, different items than what you would normally see, including a waffle station. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the hotel is in a convenient location. Not really walking distance to anywhere, you have to drive to restaurants and shops. I stayed here with my fiancé for a shopping […] trip. The pictures on this website are a bit misleading, I thought there would be a soaker tub as pictured, but there was not. We were also really tired at the end of the day, and would have killed for an onsite restaurant. We didn't get a chance to use the pool but it looked nice. All in all a good place to stay. I'm not sure what the designers had in mind with the placement of the swimming pool behind the breakfast/dining area. We hoped to go for an early morning swim to avoid the small children but we didn't care to be the breakfast crowd entertainment. We booked the same day we stayed and found it quickly and easily once in Port Huron. Check in was super fast and staff very pleasant. Lobby was decorated beautifully for Christmas and kids were playing a board game in the table & chairs area - very homey feel ! Pool and hot tub were perfect and open late which was super! We just needed a place for the night. There was lots of construction going on and the GPS was confused. I called the hotel and the front desk person stayed on the line the entire time to get us right to the hotel. He then gave us a great recommendation for dinner just down the street. Didn't find the bed comfortable at all, very soft but the king size made it more comfortable. One thing that did bother me was the amount of waste created by breakfast. I don't understand why reusable plates, cutlery, classes and cups weren't used, I saw 3 full garbage cans of avoidable waste. From a cost and green perspective it is the right thing […] to do. The hotel was clean and the staff was courteous in every interaction. Incredibly easy to find as it is immediately visible from the Bridge to Canada. A very nice place we have stayed before, and will again. At first we were worried about noise as our room was on the 4th floor, directly closest to the elevator and ice machine. "Convenient to Bridge and Fort Gratiot Beaches"
The hotel was clean and new. It wasn't fancy, but it had a nice cool pool and great Habitrail jungle gym for kids. I really missed having a mini-fridge and closet doors, but it was pretty good. Our sheets didn't get changed in the 4 nights we were there, which was too bad since we spent time at the beach and tended to bring sand home with us. The sink […] area was large and the king bed was more comfortable than many hotel beds -- not hard as a rock. "Hotel was ok but room smelled terrible"
We were passing through and needed a place to stay, the reviews seemed ok. I'm not familiar with the area so maybe this really is one of the better hotel choices but we weren't too impressed. The staff were friendly, the breakfast was ok, but the bed was all springs, the room was musty and smelled of stale smoke, and the shower was made for someone […] 4' tall. "Liked my stay"
I was pleased with the hotel. I stayed for one night on business. The place was clean and the bed was comfortable. The pool area was nice. The breakfast was OK, pretty standard for a hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful with my questions about the area.Authentische Expedia-Gästebewertung
