Express by Holiday Inn Paris - Place d'Italie - Paris

My companion had stayed here several times before and found it quite sufficient with a convenient location. For a budget hotel, it's adequate but upon check-in, we were greeted with a sign informing us there was no wifi. We asked about using the business center as an alternative for an Internet connection but were advised by the front desk to walk down […] the block to try free wifi from McDonald's. Our room was small compared to my companion's previous experience with this hotel and because we were on the second floor, we could hear conversations from the sidewalk and traffic noise. Front Staff very cordial both morning and evening ladies were a pleasure to talk to. Very cooperative and helpful. Disappointed that there WIFI was not working and nor could the hotel get it repaired in 3 days. I chose this hotel because of WIFI. I had to buy another service and pay for it, hotel should compensate its customers for this inability of […] the hotel to provide WIFI even after claiming it is their. I wanted to talk to the manager but he was not willing to meet. After 2 days of complaining for WIFI they then put notice at the Front Desk that their WIFI was out of order, this was good at least for new arriving guests. Breakfast was good. The hotel is well situated (in front of place d'italie metro station), the breakfast is very good (buffet) and the rooms are ok, a good bed in a very small room, the bathroom is a kind of ugly, there are some food machines in the loby, the personnel is very helpful. So, for the price, and the location in Paris is quite good, but is a place just for […] rest after a long day walking through Paris, expect no more than that Mehr

The room was relatively small but clean. The entrance to the subway station is literally across the street which is fairly comfortable!

It was centrally located. The employees were wonderful and helpful -- Nana and Aisha, for example. The buffet breakfast varied, satisfying, and good. I love good coffee, yogurt, and croissants and breads. Excellent. Would recommend it without reservation.

The room was small but it was okay for us since it was a nice hotel to stay in.

This hotel is located within steps of the Place d'Italie metro stop, which connects to multiple subway lines. The rooms are small, about on par with standard Paris hotel rooms, but they are clean and very comfortable. The room rate came with breakfast which was adequete and made starting the day very easy. The night staff , a chap by the name of Carlo was extremely courteous and friendly. He mad sure we had an early breakfast as our pickup to the airport was at 6am. Great job!

The room was like a closet, very small, the bathroom was filthy, mold was growing in the tiles and shower, not worth what I paid for, not even close

The location is good and you can see the hotel right away when emerging from the metro station. The breakfast buffet suits both Asians (with supply of instant noodle) and Westerners. This is a three star otel but with as level of quality far exceeding most three stars I have used before in Paris. The beds are delightful with duvets and a good size bathroom - large towels and great linen changed everyday. The breakfast was outstanding - much more than a roll and coffee.

Our rooms were clean and mostly well-maintained but the AC didn't work. Our rooms were on a busy street so we had to choose between noise or coolness. Very noisy all night long but the staff either spoke very little English or couldn't do anything about the AC problem. The hotel is very close to bus stops and Metro station but the neighborhood was not […] a good one for walking around at night. We enjoyed the Bomby's Cafe around the corner in the evening. There's a nasty little market about two blocks away. Internet place right next door but we never used it. Breakfast here was very nice but time it right or there's not a table available. Le personnel d'entretien des chambres devrait faire preuve de plus de discrétion, et ne pas frapper plusieurs à votre chambre, pour vous dire de sortir pour faire la chambre.

Mukava hotelli, hyvä aamupala ja ystävällinen henkilökunta. Aivan hotellin vieressä parikin autovuokraamoa. Lähin on halvempi, mutta henkilökunta ei osaa englantia, palvelu ystävällistä ja toimeen tultiin loput viittoen mitä ei ymmärtänyt. Hotellin lähistö täynnä etnisiä ravintoloita, joissa mukava pistäytyä päivän jälkeen nauttimassa illallista.

Très bien situé, Entretien correct, si on est maniaque on évitera de regarder certains détails dans la salle de bain. Le personnel est aimable mais pas très avenant. Pas de superflu mais nous sommes contents.

Brukbar standard, men små rom som bar preg av litt dårlig vedlikehold. Grei beliggenhet med kort vei til Metrostasjon med tre linjer.

Hotel básico solo para llegar a dormir, habitaciones muy pequeñas, aunque son dobles, sin mucho espacio, las cortinas muy sucias... llegamos a ventilar la habitación, con mal olor.

Pour résumer et ne pas rentrer dans de longues polémiques, cet hotel ne mérite pas dutout trois étoiles. Il est sympa, bien placé, moyennement tenu... si c'était un hotel avec des chambres a 80 ou 100 euros je ne ralerais pas... mais 170/ et jusqu'a 250 selon les jours ce n'est plus cher, c'est du vol total! - un ascenseur pour 7 étages - aucun service […] de bar pendant la journée ou alors avec la grimace - les baignoires avec de la moisissure partout Enfin , agreable, mais pas à ce prix c'est du délire. Il y a tellement de meilleurs hotels moins chers!!! Mehr

Vi var 4 dage på Express by Holiday Inn Paris maj 2011. Fint hotel til prisen med en super beliggenhed i forhold til metroen. Morgenmaden var helt ok. Generelt et fint hotel og en god oplevelse at bo på Express by Holiday Inn Paris. Vi kan varmt anbefale et ophold på dette hotel.

Godt hotel til prisen, ikke super moderne, men rent og pænt. Det er nemt at kommunikere på engelsk. Og et stort plus, det er bare at gå ud af døren og 100 m til højre, så er du i Metroen. Hvis man køber et Paris Pass til Metro, tog og bus, har man hele centrum af Paris til rådighed for ca. 30 euro for 3 dage (3 zoner). Vi havde et super ophold i Paris […] og nåede alt det man "skal". Vi havde et rigtig dejligt ophold på dette hotel. Værelset var ikke stort, men der var alt hvad vi skulle bruge og tingene fungerede til fulde. Morgenmadsbuffeten overraskede virkelig positivt. Desuden ligger hotellet efter vores mening i et dejligt område, med en metrostation små 100 meter væk. Vi kan varmt anbefale hotellet til andre.

The very positive point is the friendly and professional team at the reception. The very negative point is the hotel itself. This seriously needs a very deep renovation: the bathroom was out of age, corridors and rooms too. This was clean there is no doubt but the condition of walls, ceramics, wallpapers, carpet were so old that made you suspicious […] on cleanlyness... About breakfast, good choice and satisfying. But th service to clean table was unefficient (80% of tables were waiting for being cleaned to welcome other guests...) My general impression is that there is a good staff but that doesnt really have the means to work in good conditions, this hotel seriously needs a renovation (for example, the lift was broken and we had to take stairs. Hotel discreto con ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Colazione ottima

Personnels peu accueillants et peu commercants. Surtout le barman. Très bruillant. L'emplacement est idéal pour parcourir Paris. Le petit déjeuner est très bien. Rapport-qualité prix : peu satisfaisant.

Cet hôtel ne mérite pas 3* et rapport qualité / prix très mauvais, trop de bruit extérieur et intérieur

Hotellet ligger litt utenfor allfarvei, men med metroen rett utenfor døren blir det likevel sentralt. Koselig område med trivelige restauranter i umiddelbar nærhet. God frokostbuffet, gode senger og flott service. Vi kommer tilbake
