Advertised as restaurant but restaurant is next door- A Keg which is very expensive, crowded and noisy. Went somewhere else for dinner. Breakfast in hotel was fantastic though. Lots of choices and very tasty. Also had coffee maker in room which was not advertised but a very nice surprise. Best bed I have ever slept in. TV was HD but not hooked up to […] HD so picture not so great. Very clean and roomy and quiet. Staff courteous. Nice to have free parking. Shopping center very close and lots of close restaurant choices. Mehr

The hotel is conveniently located off the 401, its super clean, the price is more than right, the breakfast buffet is included in the price, and the staff is always great. I stay here every year I travel thru Toronto and I'm completely satisfied every time.

Great place to stop by for a night. Great reception, fast service. Comfortable rooms with furniture, TV and air conditioning. Close to Highway 401, therefore very convenient if on the go..

second time here... this was the last stop in our 2 week honeymoon... we stayed here because its close to family and i have stayed here before... clean and nice... overall nice hotel however at night there seems to some women in the lobby and outside that seems a little odd... i have noticed this both times i stayed here

I had a King Size bed with pillows for a baby. What's up with the very small pillows on a king size bed. Please invest in some big, good pillows. Pillows that match the size of the bed. Other than that the Hotel served my purpose. Thanks

Scarborough seems to have a dearth of good hotels. This is one of the better ones there. It is clean and comfortable. The person at the front desk complained with how we had booked and seemed a bit grumpy. It has convinient access to the 401. There isn't much in the surrounding neighbourhood such as restaurants or entertainment.

We spent Friday night there and were greatly impressed. It surprises me when many comment on decor. Yes the building is older. BUT the colour and decor were nice. even the steel doors to the room were a little offputting, but when you remember when it was built I'm sure steel doors were the norm. AND they were painted to a complimenty colour to the […] rooms. We spent the night before our race at the Toronto Zoo. The location was great and we really like only being a few exits away from the Zoo. The King bed was so comfortable. To the point that my husband who normally sleeps on hotel room floors as he finds the floor better than the beds was in the bed sound a sleep in no time and was comfortable all night. My only disapointment and is MY disapointment was the breakfast bar did not open till 7am. Which under normal circumstances is a decent early time. BUT when I needed to have breakfast at 5:30am and done by 6am, Just not helpful for me. BUT they are convienently located around the corner from a 24H McDonalds. Looking forward to our stay again next year when we return to the race. Mehr

Great hotel, very nice room, huge bed and a delicious breakfast! The location is perfect when you have a car, as it is located close to a motorway, but no worry, you don't hear any traffic from the rooms. You can not connect a DVD player to the TV. Overall, it is a really great hotel to stay in for one day and more.

This is the only hotel I stay at on my way to Montreal as it is conveniently located off the 401. It is always very clean and the rooms are comfortable. The hotel provides a nice little buffet breakfast, the staff is very helpful and you are a short car ride away from anything you need.

paying for parking was not something that i enjoyed

First time at that Hotel , great staff , very good location . I will be back again

I asked for and was granted a conference room for a last minute meeting at no charge. I stayed for 3 nights attending a conference nearby and was thrilled that the staff not only provided the conference room for free, but also went the extra mile to set up the room for the number of guest I had attending. right beside the KEG restaurant for dining. We walked to the Scarboro Town Ctr. mall from there it was about 25 min walk. the area seems mainly industrial but suited our needs and breakfast was good.

all in all our stay here was very good,the breakfast included was excellent the staff very polite and attentive the rooms and beds were fantastic the only dis-appointment was i had to pay $5 a night for parking,most people dont walk to a hotel to stay there,its not the money its the fact it should be included

Very inhospitable front desk - I had booked standard room with king size bed, got one with two queen size beds. After complaining, in an almost empty hotel, concierge gave us room right by the ice maker and wending machine - coincidence? - I doubt. Not a service you’d expect at a Holiday Inn hotel though. We were too tired to go back one more time and […] decided to live with it. TV was ancient - we were unable to read text from the bed. On the positive note, the room was impeccably clean and breakfast good. Will not go there again. Mehr

Will recomend to others, clean room and good for visitors who do not smoke. Only wired internet which is not conveinent, since the cable is so short and you can only access if you sit close.

Excellent value, comfortable & clean not to mention friendly and efficient staff.

Very polite hotel staff, fresh cookies, location very good to be near a hospital. Very good restaurant within walking distance, and couple within a very short drive. The only drawback, is whilst a guest of the hotel , having to pay an additional $5.00 per night for parking!

Very good hotel. The room felt like it was just completed; modern in appearance. The location was excellent, right off the expressway and nearby to a major mall for shopping. I can't think of anything negative, I had a good experience staying and will stay again on future trips.

Very clean, spacious rooms. Great breakfast which was included. Friendly and efficient staff.

Mainly the room was ok, as expected, they advertise they are close to Casa Loma, and actually they are quite far away, also there were black long hair in the towels, nasty and disgusting. But far most was the A/C unit, ancient, LOUD, keep waiking us up, glad it was only for 2 nights, I wouldn't had stand more.

Good Solid Hotel with smoking fast wired and wireless internet and a good hot/cold bk each morning.

You do have to pay for parking, but it pays off with the FREE great breakfasts, paper, gym etc. So many amenities. ATM in the lobby, great staff, FREE inet in the rooms!
