Very old matresses, very old sheets, dirty carpet, stay elswhere

They don't clean unless you stay a week ,vending machine was empty ,pool dirty ,carpet was filthy

the price was high , but it was during the SXSW, south by sousthwest festival.

I was all down for the full kitchen in the room but was taken bank by the old dishes, frig, stove, and micowave. Could not find the ice maker in the hotel so hence for the one icetray in the freezer. The continental breakfast was a joke. Cold coffee, no tea, and all the muffins you can eat. Location was close to area resturants but that was the only […] plus. Mehr

This is a mid-age hotel that could use an update. Cleanliness generally OK, although we had several long black hairs in our bath area and on the towels. Counter staff were friendly and helpful. Kitchenette was decent and appreciated.

located just miles from Lake Travis, down town and good shopping venues. The bed was very comfortable, with the exception of the cheap polyester bed spread. The hotel was in need of some updates: worn, dirty carpet in the hallways, shower heads were a bit harsh (exfoliated my skin with its overly powerfull spray) and the televisions should be swapped […] out with LCD. Bring lots of extra spending money if you plan to use the vending machines! Mehr

overpriced for even a suite with kitchenette. needs renovation. place just very stained and unclean. and they only clean your room once a week. Also for those used to living in non-smoking states, the smell of cigarettes is just plain disgusting. It seeps into everything, including the non-smoking floors. The deodorizer just makes it worse.

Great hotel for the price, loved all the space in my room! It was close in to my conference and shopping. Lots of parking too. Decor was a bit dated-

Bathroom was dirty; hair on the floor. The maintenance man who came to repair the latch on the opening door did a very good job. He replaced a burned out bulb, was courteous, respectful and came promptly. The same pieces of paper were left on the floor of the elevator all four days we were there.

If you are on a tight budget and need a place to stay with a good amount of room, then I suppose this is the place for you. Just remember to bring your own pillow and snacks/drinks because there are no vending machines. Also, if you are a light sleeper then forget about this place.

Place is a dump, very dirty room, most uncomfortable hotel bed I've ever had, hallways are very loud even if you try to walk softly, stairway area full of trash bags that reeked like they had been there for days, horrible experience!!!

Hotel was fine but the room I was told I would get was not available all at the fault of Hotels.com

The room was nice.

The trash cans at the stairs were all full and smelling. There were no shampoo etc in my room (just one face and one body shampoo).

If you are looking for a place to stay without all the bells and whistles, this place is great. It is in a good location, very centrally located in North Austin with access to all the major highways. We stayed in a Deluxe King Suite and it had a lot of space...especially if you have kids. We were able to get up in the morning an have coffee and watch […] the news without waking our son up. The pool was much nicer than most hotel pools and provided a great atmosphere for relaxing after a long day of work. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a leisure stay in Austin. Mehr

Hotel was very good, clean. Not at all close to downtown, but 17miles NW. It was the only place we could find last minute after our previous hotel refused to acknowledge our reservation (Travelodge Austin Highland Mall- bad reviews!) so for this reason also, we were very grateful and happy with the room we received. Clean, felt safe there being a woman and alone. Close to arboretum. I would recommend it.

Great customer service. Room was decent. Shower tiles could have been cleaner but it wasn't bad. And they allowed pets, which is a plus for me. And even though the dog on the other side of the hall kept barking, i couldnt hear it as soon as i shut my door. I'd stay there again

Everything considered, it is slightly above average. However, the dog-barking part next room around 5 am in the morning bumped the rating to just average.

I always know exactly what I'm getting when I book extended stays. Not the fanciest, but always clean and has everything needed for a vacation/ business trip. This time I booked a 2 br and took the kids. The adjoining rooms with living area meant we had plenty of room for my crazy girls to run around without feeling cramped up and it's always nice having […] a kitchen table and kitchenette when traveling with kids. BEST BANG FOR THE BUCK HOTEL IN AUSTIN! Will stay again. Mehr

I arrived at 3:30 p.m. and was promptly given a room. Upon entering the room I turned on the air conditioning unit and it made a loud rumbling sound when the compressor was on. The refrigeratior did not have an ice maker and there were no ice trays or ice bucket. There was also no shampoo in the bathroom. I went to the desk and the attendant said they […] didn't guarantee an ice maker in the room. She said she would try and find some ice and a bucket for me. I requested that she move me to another room with an ice maker and she refused saying that they were booked up for the night although there were still vacant rooms that were available. She was very rude but did bring one ice tray (dirty) and ice/ice bucket to my room. I guess since I had prepaid, she didn't feel like I could cancel and go somewhere else. I will never stay at an Extended Stay again. And this was suppose to be a Extended Stay Deluxe!!! Mehr

The room was comfortable and clean. They had a full kitchen, with stove, fridge, sink and coffee pot which was nice. However, they do not provide the little luxuries like shampoo, condition or lotion. Good location, easy to find and very accessible, very close to restaurants. We would definitely stay there again.

There was an odor in the hallway that was most likely due to being pet friendly as a pet owner i can understand. What was not acceptable to me was how dirty we found the bathroom with "body" hairs in the toilet, and black mildew/stain covering the tub.

This was excellent for what we needed. Had plenty of room for 2 adults and 2 children. Everyone was very nice. This is the place we will stay when going to Austin.

Courteous attendant and also room was very comfortable.
