Holiday Inn Express N.Myrtle Beach- Little River - Little River

This is a clean, well-set up hotel with a very good breakfast bar, excellent wireless internet and comfortable accommodations. Our only problem is that the signage is small and we missed it TWICE!!!

Everything was great except I wasn't impressed with the breakfast and I am accustomed to Microwave and refrigerater in room.

My husband, our small dog, and I had a very good time there. Upon arrival, we realized that we were assigned a smoking room which smelled a little bit bad. I asked the staff lady at the front desk to switch our room to a non-smoking one, and she kindly and promptly did it for free. It was much better since the new room was a two-bed room, which was […] wide, clean, and comfortable. My husband is a pretty picky person about the cleanliness of bed sheets when traveling, and he was satisfied with the room. In addition, I especially liked the drinking water fountain set up at the end of the corridor, and the water tasted very good. (I've never stayed at a hotel with a water fountain, to be honest.) The breakfast was not that fancy, but good enough with scrambled egg, bacon, cereals, juices, coffee, etc., all the basic stuffs. The cafeteria for breakfast was also being well managed and food was constantly filled. All in all, everything was quite satisfactory and I will definitely stay at this hotel again when visiting N. Myrtle Beach! Mehr

Stay was very comfortable. Only issue is that someone opened our door that night but wasnt' able to come in due to the safety latch. They didn't identify themselves as staff and disappeared before we got to the door.

It was convenient, staff friendly, courteous, the free hot breakfast was a plus. Only small complaint about my room and only noticed next to last day of my stay, dust on the TV stand that was also the dresser. It was significant amount of dust so the cleaning people must have missed that area, but overall room was fine.

Staff was wonderful. Hotel was extremely clean. I would stay there again and recommend it.

We were really tired and booked as we were on the road already. Staff was friendly, professional, and quick. The room was nice and clean. We got some rest and were up and on the way with a good quick breakfast the next morning.

This was a great hotel. Wonderful staff, clean rooms and good location. Will definitely stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Our room was immaculate and the staff was very friendly. The complimentary breakfast was very good. Excellent selection, the breakfast area was very clean and orderly.

breakfast was wonderful and setting on the water was enjoyable -- bed was very high and kind of squeaky -- overall very nice room good value for money spent

I stayed there with two business associates and we were all impressed with this Hotel. From check in to check out after three nights , i can honestly say that we had no complaints. Even the C breakfast was better than expected. And the view of the Y basin was wonderful.

We were very impressed with the Holiday Inn Express. The quality of the hotel was way beyond what we expected with the price. The breakfast was not only delicious with a vast number of choices but had a spectacular view of a picturesque harbor. All the hotel personnel were helpful and gracious. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

We decided to stay off the beach. This hotel was about 20 mintues form the beach but we liked it that way. It was very quite, clean, and the hotel staff were wonderful. We actually didnt need anything. Our room was cleaned everyday which is a plus. I wuld stay here again.

We moved to the Holiday Inn Express when Hurrican Irene decided to pay a visit and we had a mandatory evacuation order. The HI Express had to deal with problems that arose from the wind, such as the elevator did not work and the front door would not open. Not a problem, the staff was great in helping out but .... the room was not clean. Hair in the […] bathtub, trash between the beds under the night stand and a general odor of uncleanliness. What courtesy and help was extended to us by the staff was erased by the room condition. Mehr

This hotel is nice and we had a quiet room suite with a comfortable bed. It is a little North of NMB but we could get to the places we needed to in NMB quickly (about 10 min.). The breakfast room and food were very good. Hotel staff helpful and polite.

I had an unexpected problem with my little dog.He decided that he was not going to be his norml quiet self while I was gone that evening.I received a phone call from the day manager,and he told me of the situation.I told him that I was on a ship and unable to leave...I was very upset and asked him if he could look after Max until I got back.Well,both […] he and the night manager were kind enough to take care of him for me. The room was really nice when we arrived, but it was never cleaned after that. We had to ask for the sheets to be changed, the room was never swept for the entire six nights we were there. Always had to ask for either wash cloths or towels. There was four of us there, one night we had one towel and four bath mats and they refused to bring any up. There […] was no exhaust fan in the room, the bathroom was always wet. The door hinges are rusted because of the humidity. The beds and our clothes were damp from the humidity in the bathroom. They say they have one large fan in the attic to take care of the whole hotel, but we were on the second floor and it did not work there. Totally not up to Holiday Inn standards. The room was very clean and the service was excellent. the room was quiet and spacious. I enjoyed my stay.

I basically spent 4 sleepless nights getting biten by something on the blanket. I even had the nice maids change the linen. However, they didn't change blanket. I finally woke up after feeling like I was getting biten all over my arms on the 4th day. I was tired from not getting any rest I just took the blanket and threw it in the chair. This is when […] I started to get rest. However, I was leaving the next day. I told the manager, he had my room cleaned and that nite I slept like a baby. Unfortunately, I blew 4 days trying to figure out why I was not getting any sleep. Otherwise, the hotel was great. I can't believe the manager didnt offer some type of discount for my inconvenience. Me and my husband wanted a little relaxing getaway. We wanted to be in a nice clean hotel. The Holiday Inn Express was in great condition. Very clean. The Front desk was so friendly. This was a very clean and accomodating hotel. Perfect for a stopover for families. We had a suite with a pullout bed. It was fine so long as the bedroom door was not closed at night because it blocked the AC from going into the livingroom area. It was pretty warm in that room in the morning. I wasn't keen on the cheap compact flourescents that made […] the lighting in the room feel almost hospital like despite the nice decorations. The beds were comfortable and I was pleasantly surprised to find plates and utensils in the kitchenette area. I would recommend this hotel for anyone needing a reasonably priced, clean, and comfortable hotel with extra space for the family. Mehr

Only (1) ice machine was working in the building so people on the 4th floor had to walk down 2 flights of stairs to get ice. Some maintenance around the building definitely needed to be done.

Dinning room under repair but will be done soon. Right next to a beautiful Marina. Great spot. Enjoyed our visit. Is pet friendly. Would stay there again. Staff was pleasant. Went during Easter weekend and was a very nice stay.

The reason we chose to stay at this hotel was because it is pet friendly and not too far from the beach. The hotel is situated on a marina with a very pretty view and a nice boardwalk to walk along with your dog. The hotel restaurant offered a great happy hour with great appetizer specials. For the day that we just hung out at the pool and didn't head […] into Myrtle Beach this was perfect. The only thing that would make this hotel perfect would be if they included a breakfast buffet.
