Homewood Suites by Hilton Reading - Reading

Was in town for Easter weekend from VA and was nicely located, very nice, friendly service, i will be returning as i am there about 4 times a year with my family... No complaints what so ever!!!!

The hotel's location was perfect for attending the Berks Jazz Festival. It was close to the other venues were some of the shows were playing. Homewood is right next to shops and restuarants, which was great! I was able to sneak in some shopping, which is always a good thing. The hotel staff were very nice and effecient. The people at check-in were super nice and the room was HUGE! Everything was super clean, and the icing on the cake was having an individual sachet of popcorn along with the coffee stuff. I will definitely be coming back here!

The front desk service at Homewood Suites was outstanding. I asked at the desk if there might be a spare cell phone charger that I could use. The staff went above and beyond to try to find a charger that was compatible to my phone. One staff member even checked in her car to see if she had her personal charger with her. Beautiful room. Clean and Comfy. Loved the kitchenette with the complimentary popcorn and coffee. Was in town for a wedding on a Sunday at 4 pm - I know - who gets married on a Sunday at 4? So we needed a late check-out and after calling around to all the other hotels Homewood Suites was the only hotel to guarantee a late check-out for us. Can't say […] enough good things. We stayed at the Homewood Suites in Reading for two nights as we were in town for our son's wedding. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, the rooms were clean and spacious and the complimentary breakfast was very nice. We will definitely stay there again should we come back to the Reading area and will recommend it to our friends.

Everything was top notch. We stayed at the hotel in the summer for one of the Jehovah's Witnesses Conventions. We experienced a well run organization, friendly staff, and good rates. Therefore we wanted to return. There are good restaurants and shopping in the area. We loved the king/fireplace/jacuzzi room. Thank you.

Close to shopping and lots of places to eat.room was very nice but room was dirty when we checked in .maids didn't clean room very good .

We attended a large local event and this hotel was a great place to come back to for rest and relaxation. I would highly recommend it. Staff is very courteous and helpful and rooms are very nice.

This is by far the best hotel in the states that we have stayed at since we have been traveling (40 years). My wife & I highly recommend it.

Our son plays for a basket ball team that participates in the basketball tournaments @ Albright College - This was our 2nd time staying at this location and we enjoyed it just as much as the first time. We stayed at the Homewood Suties in Reading to attend a weekend conference at the downtown Sovereign Center. There were a lot of conference participants at the hotel, but it wasn't a problem. The staff were friendly and accomodating, and everything was in order. Sometimes at these events, the breakfast time can be a nightmare because everyone is trying […] to eat at the same time before they go back to the conference. No nightmare at Homewood Suites! The staff kept everything stocked and available, and they did it with a smile! They had opened additional seating, and they kept the tables cleaned off, so that no one had to stand around with a plateful of food and nowhere to sit. The room itself was great. They uprgraded us to a fireplace/jacuzzi suite, which was very nice. Too bad we weren't there long enough to really enjoy it, but everything was clean and comfortable. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you are staying in Reading. There is easy access from the highway, and lots of nearby places to eat and shop. A great job, Homewood Suties! Mehr

Everything here was Top Notch clean and comfortable. Great rates too. The fireplace was a nice touch.

This hotel was perfect for our needs. My wife has celiac's disease and the in room kitchen was exactly what we needed to prepare our meals. The fireplace, jacuzzi and dvd player were also excellent pieces to this fantastic room. We got a great rate through hotels.com so that it was comparable to other regular hotel rooms. This hotel is everythiing most people want . It has a helpful staff,a very clean and comfortable suite, and was within ten miles to the Christmas Village,which I and my daughter took the grandchildren to see. Because of a fully equipped kitchen my daughter and grandsons, who are allergic to wheat and my one grandson is also allergic to peanuts, were […] abel to come back and enjoy an evening treat and watch dvd's. They could also have there breakfast in the room with their own wheat free food. It is also close to restaurants, stores and food markets. This hotel was more than I expected for a 3 star rating, which seemed to be the best rating in this area. I have not been in this are for a long time however my daughters still visit relatives and have complained about the hotels where they have stayed. Staff was great, breakfast wonderful, location perfect. It almost made me think I should go back […] again and do some antiquing. This hotel is rated too low as I saw some of the other people attending the reunion and there hotels could not compare. Mehr

The rooms are nice and spacious. They have th fel of nice apartments instead of just large bedrooms which is nice. The swimming pool was a lot smaller than I thought it would be. Small basketball court set up too. Besides that everything was ample and convenient.

The room was pleasantly large with multiple conveniences. There was nothing to request to make the stay comfortable.

The room is extremely comfortable. Just like home. They have a full kitchen in the room, things were clean all around. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Happy to see hot breakfast and have hot water for hot cocoa, tea and coffee 24 hrs at the lobby. I will definitely stay here with my family again.
