"Awesome and awesome."
Bewertet von einem Hotels.com-Gast am 13. Sep. 2012For people who don't want to be sitting in Manhattan for a trillion dollars more this is the way to go. The stay starts with a free shuttle pick-up from Newark Airport, friendly drivers and a quick drive to the Hotel. The Hotel itself is clean, nicely decorated and overall super. The check-in is quick and friendly, just remember to smile. Give a smile, receive a smile. The room is perfect, most rooms have a safe, a TV with all major networks. Some room's even have "Sleep Number" beds (look it up on Google) for maximum comfort. The toilets and showers are clean, the housekeeping is friendly and even though it's next to the NJ Turnpike it's pretty quiet. There is also a free shuttle to the busstop line 116 ($7.50 to Manhattan) and to Rahway Station ($8.75 to Manhattan). Just call the front desk and it'll be ready in no-time. Same goes for the way back, just remember to call 20 minutes prior to arrival at busstop/trainstation and that the shuttle service stops at midnight. There is also a bar in the Hotel for food and drinks. The bartenders (Tommy and Shakir) are awesome people, very funny, nice to talk to and make your stay pretty much perfect. As long as you are smiling (and you should), the people at this Radisson are smiling as well.

"gut zum übernachten"

Aug. 2012wir hatten etwas günstiges in der nähe von new york gesucht und das rodeway inn gefunden. wenn man gut zufußist und eine stunde fahrt in kauf nimmt, hat man für den preis ein ziemlich gutes motel erwischt, wobei man aber die straße ziemlich gut hören kann, weil es direkt neben ihr liegt. die zimmer sind sehr sauber.

Staff is very friendly and you can order food or go downstairs to eat any meal of the day. Relax in the indoor pool or just enjoy your room. This hotel was nice and right off the turnpike exit. Stayed here for a wedding last weekend. The staff was friendly and the hotel itself was nice but the room stunk of mildew. Had a housekeeper come in to smell it and she sprayed some stuff on the carpet. That helped for about an hour and then the stench returned. I think it was coming from the AC itself. Aside from the fact that traveling on the NJ Turnpike is a nightmare in and of itself, the hotel wasn't bad. It's a bit old. There was a funny smell in the hall near our room but I believe that they were cleaning carpets. The cafe in the lobby was adequate but nothing to want me to go there on purpose. The price was a bit high for the quality but again, […] welcome to NJ. A 24 hour trip cost me $30 in tolls. That alone would keep me from staying at this hotel again. Room was very warm when I entered. AC was off. I think they should have AC on low if they know someone will be occupying that room. The Front Desk Manager was extremely rude. Note that the breakfast only includes 2 people, you must pay additionally for anyone else staying in your room. This was pretty far from Great Adventure , and there was no place to eat around the hotel. We had to order room service when we came back to the hotel and it was very expensive. The room was fine except for a dirty bathroom floor. Needs a scrubbing! The same could be said for the hotel carpeting especially the hallways. Very stained and not too welcoming.
