Extended Stay Deluxe Denver - Aurora - Aurora

My friend and I stayed at the Extended Stay Deluxe for 3 days/nights on the 1st floor. The lobby area is very clean and nicely decorated. Hotel staff was friendly with one small exception to the Saturday morning clerk. who snapped at me when I asked about breakfast. In the room itself, there was almost all the amenities of home. The kitchen had enough […] items for 2 people to make and eat meals. The living area had a couch and recliner chair. We turned the lights on and found the couch was just disgusting! There were stains, crusty material, holes and other damage to it. There was a nice, large flat screen TV. The beds seemed clean but the curtains in the windows were also extremely nasty. There were literally blood splatters and other stains all over these curtains! The decor is seriously out-dated. The floors were very dirty/worn throughout the complex and in the room. We were disappointed to find out that the "free continental breakfast" was really just a small coffee area for weekdays only. The "free Wi-Fi" was thee worst, slowest and intermittent service. Better service came with a fee. There is no maid service unless you stay for 7 days or longer. This hotel has such potential to be a much nicer place to stay if it was kept up better. Mehr

Room smelled awful and was not very clean at all. It was hard to sleep on linens that made us all gag. There were 5 of us in a room with two doubles and one sofa bed. enough places for everyone to sleep but there were no linens for the sofa bed, nor were there extra pillows for it. When we called the front desk to get them we were told to come down […] to the front desk later to get them. When we did, no one was around and we waited in the lobby for 35 minutes. When someone finally showed up, they did not have the extra pillows that we required. When I booked the room on Hotels.com I specifically requested that there be enough toiletries in the room for five people. There were three towels and two wash clothes in the room when we arrived. Also, I requested a ground floor room and was actually placed on the second floor. The stairways wreaked of garbage that someone made an awful attempt at covering up with some kind of scent spray placed on the wall. We have stayed in a lot of Extended stay motels and this has to be the worst room ever. There was one wash cloth, no shampoo (had to go to front desk with bed head), an old coffee filter was left in the pot when we tried to make hot water for tea, NO cups in kitchen or bathroom! the light between the beds had a loose socket and was dangerous, both clocks […] in the room still had standard time which told me no one had been in the room since time change which was a month before we were there. And to top it off, my 5 year old grand daughter thought she was turning on the light in the kitchen, the switch on the wall was for the garbage disposal, which when turned on had the most horendeous noise, worse than a fire alarm, shaking the floor, and counters and spuing out black gunk. It scared my daughter and I to death and my granddaughter to tears and shaking. That is a huge issue with me! They advertised a deluxe continental breakfast which was old muffins, bagels, and coffee. No orange or apple juice for children. If that is deluxe, you need to visit other motels who offer fruit, cereal with milk, waffles, and pastries. Mehr

Super convenient and very polite staff!! i had to book the room super late and they were still accommodating even so late!! :-)

Excellent hotel. The best we stayed in on our vacation.

Front desk was slow. Computer system was down at time of check in.

The hotel was very accomodating. The room was clean and the staff was very friendly. I wish the coffee bar had been open 7 days a week instead of Monday - Friday but we were provided with plenty of coffee to make in the room. Overall I would stay there again.

overall room was good, but a couple things need to be addressed in order for me to return to this hotel. 1 big thing is bedding, ordered and charged for a queen, but got a double size. When you're use to having the room a queen or king size offers then going back to a full size; reminds us when we were first married many years ago and didn't mind. If […] your going to advertise and charge for a queen size bed then I want queen size. 2nd thing was the bathroom had no counter top; for tooth paste, brush, and all the room that most women must have so they can spend time geting themselfs ready. One of the worst hotel expereiences I have ever had. Exhaust from the restaurant next door permeated the dirty room, making it impossible to breathe and sleep.

The world's worst hotel room and staff are located at this site. I would not recommend it to anyone. It would probably be a good idea to close it immediately and get out of the hotel business.Seriously...FIlthy and mattresses in the entire hotel are in deplorable condition.

The hotel is a smoking facility and smelled of smoke. Also, the continental breakfast was not the best. The room was not the best. There was an iron burn on the carpet. Also, the vending machine to purchase soap was not working. Location to freeway access was the best thing about this hotel.

Extended Stay Deluxe, Aurora in Aurora, colorado was an exceptoional location. there were a few minor glitches, but the staff took them in stride and all was settled in a more than satisfactory manner. In future visits to the Denver Area, We will use this hotel if space is available. My only complaint for the breakfast was that only coffee was available […] and with children of which ours were not the only guests, lack of juice of some sort is a neglectful ommission. Mehr

The hotel was located in Aurora, Colorado, it is a subure of Denver. The first night was Friday, at 1:30am girl fighting in the hall way, personal effect was all over the hall way in from of my room. call help desk to inform them as such and the told me if I want to I can call the police myself to report this, they will not even came up stair to the […] third floor to investigate the incident. The bed sheet was dirty, the bed cover had burn mark of cigarette, my room was non-smoking room. Will never rent an Extend stay hotel again. I should had stay at Quality inn, Mariott, or Resindent inn. Mehr

The hotel was comfortable. If we pionted out a problem like bathtub faucet leaking was repaired as soon as possible. Did notice floor under hide a bed sofa not cleaned under and carpet in room not new had some stains but otherwise room very clean very limited continental breakfast served. Coffee was excellent. Room dirty, sheets/towels worn out. CArpet was filthy with hair balls on them and in toilet. Nice to have a kitchen. Some of the TV stations very snowy screen.

Kevin and Andrew man the desk in the evenings, and are a true jewel to this establishment. The room was comfortable, well equipped and convenient to the site I was working at. No surprises.

Internet didn't work most of the time, and when it would work it was very slow.

Overall, the Extended stay was a decent place to stay. For the money I spent and the condition of the room, it was a fairly good price. I had booked a non-smoking room online but ended up with a smoking room instead with no other rooms available the night we checked in. There were several patrons staying at the hotel openly drinking alchol during our […] two day stay which was a denfinate turn off since I had brought one of our four children with us on this trip. The only complaint I would have would be that I had changed the occupancy from 4 to 1 child and was told at the front desk that they were unable to adjust my charges as the room was booked online and I would have to take the issue up with Hotels.com. Took forever for clerk to come to desk. NOT a pleasant guy. He didn't even mention the breakfast in a.m. so we missed it! Rooms look like old, run down apartments! The lobby and the hallways appear great but when you check into the rooms (which smelled)I felt like we got the "bait and switch". Carpet was filthy.

The Rooms are Nice! they do give a better discount if you have someone in the Hospital. The Staff is Kind and really trys to Help you. You may want to take some Coffee with you as there slow to make it

Don't expect to cook much. I set off the smoke detector cooking French Toast. Also, It seems you get what you get. I asked for pillows and wash clothes on different occasions. I was told both times "I'm washing them" "Backed up on the laundry" "I'll have someone bring them up" No one ever brought anything.

The room was nice we had a great experience the hotel attendeant also was very good at meeting our needs. It had some loud people in the parking lot out back but if you close the window you cant hear them.
