Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral und ist mit der skytrain vom Flughafen prima erreichbar. Die Zimmer sind zwar nicht mehr die neuesten, aber dennoch sauber und gut ausgestattet. Das Personal ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Als Delta Privilege Member hat man das Internet kostenlos (beim check in ggf. einscchreiben oder nachfragen). Immer auf günstige Angebote achten, da Delta diese z. T. kurzfristig einstellt.

The location of the hotel next to Stanley Park is perfect. I was on a business trip, and it was great to go for jogging in the morning. I also enjoyed the atmosphere in the hotel bar. The view onto the water is fantastic. I can also highly recommend their cocktails. However, I would have enjoyed the hotel even more with a better hotel service. The people at the receptiion were not very cooperative.

Ich und meine Tochter waren im Oktober 2011 für eine Woche in Vancouver B.C. Das Hotel ist sehr ruhig und liegt in unmittelbarer Nähe zum sehenswerten Stanley Park, so dass man auch nach einem stressigen Stadtbummel noch schnell naturnahen Ausgleich haben kann. Die Hotelsuite war sehr geräumig und sauber. An manchen Stellen ( Kaminsims, Küchenschränkte ) blätterte schon etwas die Farbe ab. Die Fenster sind nicht so dick und gut erhalten, wie wir es in Deutschland gewohnt sind, es tat dem guten Gesamteindruck aber keinen Abbruch. Insgesamt also gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Die Hotelbelegschaft ist besonders freundlich.
Lage
Hampton Inn Vancouver Airport liegt in Richmond in der Nähe der folgenden Sehenswürdigkeiten: Aberdeen Centre, Richmond Centre Mall und Richmond Olympic Oval. Zu den weiteren Sehenswürdigkeiten der Umgebung gehören: BC Place Stadium und VanDusen Botanical Garden.

"Great Value"
Very impressed with the hotel. The staff were friendly and very helpful with directions, suggestions, etc. The free breakfast was awesome (loved the waffles) and our every need was met. I would definitely stay here again!!!

the king bed "suite" was just a regular (small) room with a king size bed and a sofa that could barely be opened. Barely any space for 2 adults w/ 2 kids, better get 2 double beds.

We stayed there the night before we left on our trip and it was great. The hotel shuttled us to the airport when we left and came and picked us up when we returned. "Just what you need near the airport"
Very comfortable room/bed and excellent service from the front desk people. Solid continental breakfast with waffles, cereal, boiled eggs, fruit, breads, pastries, etc. Parking is a little cramped (but free) and it is a three minute (literally) drive to the airport. "Needs remodeling"
Good hotel for the price, good location. Downside: Old and not very well maintained. There's no heating or airconditioning, only a ceiling fan. I wonder how it will be during the winter and summer. People at front desk very friendly and helpful.
Staff very friendly. Enjoyed the stay. Easy to find.

A clean comfortable hotel, with friendly staff and a great breakfast. The location is quite good, with access to the sky train a short walk away.

"Convenient to Airport"
Convenient to YVR airport. Nice clean room, comfortable bed. Friendly service. Reasonable rates. We arrived at the airport after the car rental agencies had closed for the day. The hotel paid for our taxi to the hotel from the airport.
"Security of autos in the area."
Only concern was the area. While we were away at dinner (daylight) a couple of cars had windows broken. Ours was OK but the area wasn't too neat. We went ahead with our plan to leave our car in the long term lot while we went on vacation. No problems.

"Convenient"
This is a nice hotel and very convenient to the hotel. They have a free shuttle. We stayed there as we were taking a very early flight out the next morning. It made it very easy. The neighborhood's not so great but what aiport are is?????? Clean and well appointed, friendly staff.
Although the rooms were well maintained and the staff was friendly I was a bit upset at the fact that they didn't have a buffet as they had stated when I called them regarding it. There is a difference between a hot and cold buffet and a hot and cold continental breakfast. I specifically booked reservations at this hotel based on the information I received […] regarding the buffet since my spouse is particular about that. The parking is also very limited for this location. And the wifi was a bit slow at times. Not sure yet if I would recommend this hotel or not. Mehr
"Exemplary Service - Above and Beyond...!!"
Tired and weary after a lengthy flight - it's 1:30am...all we want to do is SLEEP. Caught a cab to the Hampton Inn but realized we didn't have small change to pay for the fare. Went inside to get some change and the hotel clerk ended up paying for the cab ride...!! Wow...!! Got into our room and the bed was "heavenly"...slept so soundly...!! Woke up […] in the morning to a hearty breakfast - eggs, ham, waffles, fruit...perfect...!! We had been gone on a two week vacation and our car remained at this hotel while we were away...no problems whatsoever. Very, very impressed with our stay...!! Mehr

We had been flying all night and were absolutely exhausted when we arrived in Vancouver. The shuttle service attendant was so courteous and helpful and got us to the hotel as quickly as possible. Hotel reps were absolutely professional, provided us with exceptional service, were friendly, helpful in every way and got us to our room in very short order... […] after a quick breakfast that had just been prepared fro guests. Rooms were quiet, spotless and very comfortable! Thank you so much for making the end of our vacation so comfortable and pleasant! Like other Hampton Inns that we have visited, the front desk service is good, the elevators and hallways are attractive, the parking is convenient, the breakfast is reasonably good, the room is clean, and the bed is very, very comfortable. We appreciate the free Wifi in the room and the large desk on which to set a computer. A small comment: there was […] no empty power point for our computer as the contact points behind the desk were all filled. We had to climb under the desk to unplug the coffee machine in order to have a place to plug in our computer. A suggestion here could be to supply a power bar under the desk. The lobby of the hotel is not very special and its location, while handy to the airport, is in a charmless area. All things considered, we were happy to stay at the hotel again at the end of our trip. Mehr
