THE ONLY DOWNSIDE OF THIS HOTEL IS THE TV'S IN EACH ROOM,THOSE TV'S ARE SOOOOOO OLD, I THINK THEY ARE FROM THE 80'S, EVERY OTHER HOTEL HAS SWITCHED TO PLASMA/ FLAT SCREENS,CROWNE PLAZA NEEDS TO DO THE SAME, AND THERES NO FRIDGE IN THE ROOM, WHICH SUCKED COZ I ALWAYS NEED TO STORE FOOD AND DRINKS. :-(

staff very friendly, room clean. cannot beat the location. the hallways could use some sprucing up.

The location was decent and the staff was friendly. Our room was nice enough but I wouldn't say that it's a "4 Star" hotel. We didn't spend much time watching TV, but the TV quality wasn't great and clearly hadn't been upgraded from the old tube TV's. Otherwise, the bed was comfortable and the people were nice.

I have never stayed at a Crowne Plaza before, but I was expecting a more classy experience. First of all, when you are paying such a high rate to stay in a hotel, you would think that the parking would be included in the price... this is not the case. It was an extra 45 dollars! Then we got into our room and the only window was facing a brick building, […] so it wasn't the best view. Also the toilets over flooded and when we called the front desk to have someone come clean it up, all they did was just throw some towels down on the wet gross mess and just left it there! Great hotel and service. We got to the hotel early in the morning and the room was ready for us which was brilliant. Only comment is that they could update their TV's

I booked this hotel because of the close vicinity to the Please Touch Museum. According to Hotel.com, it was 0.4 miles from the museum. I was very excited because it was a beautiful day. My plan was to take my two young children and put them in their stroller and walk. Walking would have been beneficial because parking is so expensive ($40). My plan […] was quickly spoiled the morning of our museum trip when I mapped out the route and realized that it was actually 4 miles away. I was upset because there is nothing special about this hotel and the location was actually not my favorite but I choose it because of information that ended up being incorrect. Very disappointed. Very convenient location as it is approximate 6 blocks from Pennsylvania Station and located on Market St. Everyone was pleasant, professional and helpful.

small bathroom, expensive parking, good location ,expensive room for what it is but they say location matters and it is in the center of everything.

Overall, this hotel was ok. We expected it to be noisy because of St. Paddy's Day, and the first floor near the pub was, but the room floors above were very quiet. The room was meticulously clean! My only beef was that the two times I went to the vending machine, there was no water and no ice. In addition, the key-card operated elevators wouldn't allow […] me to go to other floors in search of water and ice. Could I have called the desk, yes, but I don't typically bother. We had a great time, enjoyed the pool, room was clean, people working behind the desk,efficient & friendly.The best part was the concierge, soo fun & was great with helping us with transportion.It is so wonderful to have cheerful, happy people to help, especially when you are in a big city & dont know your way around. Was in town for a family function, hotel was close to all food, entertainment all in walking distance....so park n go....great stay

The hotel room was okay. The bathrooms are tiny. It is definitely not worth the price to stay their. There are much better hotels in the area for a cheaper price. The main reason I am giving this hotel such a poor rating is because it took an hour and a half to get our car. There was a line of people waiting for cars. there was very poor management […] and organization. I will never stay here again. If you do decide to stay here park in a different lot. Mehr

Just stayed for an overnight visit. Location great. Hotel dated. Room adequate, bathroom tiny. Restaurant had a strange smell, needed to be scrubbed. Parking fee expensive. Staff friendly and nice.

I confirmed that the room would have two queen beds. When I checked in It did not! They moved our room to one with two beds, but the beds were more full than queen sized. Nothing was like the pictures either. I barely fit into the bathroom. It took 4 calls and about 3 hours to get clean towels on the second day of my stay. Saying there was no do not […] disturb sign to put anywhere it was extra weird that someone had not come by by 1PM especially after all my calls. Ultimately, I will never stay here again. Mehr

We had a great stay while we were there. We would recommend this hotel to anyone who needs a hotel in a great location. The staff was so accomodating and helpful. The housekeeper was always very upbeat and friendly. We had an amazing time. Thank you so much to the staff who made our stay very pleasant and memorable.

Very good location, close to all the sites we wanted to visit. Th bathrooms are small and old, but clean. Parking was on the expensive side. Breakfast was ok and included.

Great place to stay if you want to be in Center City. Some of the furnishings in the lobby look updated, but the hotel overall is pretty dated and dingy. The room itself seemed clean, but the bathroom is old and was a little dirty. Just got back from 2 days in Philadelphia. Stayed at the Crowne Plaza, which is very centrally located. We originally got a room on the 9th floor, and I asked to be moved to a higher floor, which the did immediately. They moved us to the top floor, but only had a partial city view. We had a King size bed, and the room was spacious --- but I would have […] given up a little room squ. footage for a larger bathroom. The sink was in the room. The tub/shower and toilet were seperate. My husband and I are not big people, and really anyone any bigger than us --- well they will definitely have issues getting in and out of the bathroom. However - the "buffet breakfast" was an outrage! $32 for powdered scramble eggs"made to order" and the rest is self serve- cold meats, and pancakes, make your own toast and not even any sugar free syrup for those with diabetes who cannot use regular maple syrup. Overalll, though I would recommend the hotel. Staff was courteous, it was clean and centrally located for business or pleasure. Mehr

Close to shopping and restaurant. Nicely appointed room. Small exercise room but free access to Philadelphia sports Club across the street.

Kept having my keys not work, but the room service was nice and the lobby pub was good.

A bit annoying to have to wait 2 hours to check in. The guy in the reception didn't seem to want to go out of his way to and let me know if a room would be available earlier.

Wonderful staff and a lovely, modern, comfortable hotel. Conveniently located near City Centre. Only sore point was slow garage service, o/t/w a very pleasant stay. Ask for Bobby the bellman!

Comfortable hotel, well situated. Room was large, and set up well for a business traveller including fast wi-fi and USB charger ports on the desk. Not far from the Surburban train station that goes to Philly Airport.

This hotel was great! I got a 2 double bed room and had plenty of space. The bathroom was a bit tiny but it served its purpose. Very clean, very nice staff, great location. I'm not great on direction but it was a little confusing finding parking. If I ever need to stay at a hotel again in central Philly, I will definitely be looking for a room here […] again. If you're looking for a clean place to stay for a reasonable place, DEFINITELY consider Crowne Plaza. I'm really picky and this place made me feel comfortable and at home. Mehr

The room was great, the valet parking took 1/2 hour to retrieve our car, and the room service was excellent. Service could use a little more efficiency (valet parking) and more formality with room service. What happened to the table that is rolled in and the lovely linens?

Actually, my husband wanted to stay at this hotel because it had a rooftop pool, but we didn't take into consideration that at the end of September it would be have been closed for the season. The location was convenient for us on this trip because we flew in and took the Septa to 30th street station and walked to 18th street and Market where the hotel […] was. Usually, we stay closer to Rittenhouse Square. It was a bit closer to Reading Terminal Marketplace where one can spend a lot of time eating and checking out the various vendors there. Next time we stay here it will be in the summer so we can enjoy the pool. Mehr

Score! Beautiful Hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Great Bar and convenient locale. Close to Train and Subway. Plenty of Food and Shopping all around.

The hotel had a decent exercise room.

The hotel was very nice, but having to pay for parking on top of the hotel bill was inconvenient and unnecessary.

My daughter was going to be celebrating her 30th birthday and I wanted to make it memorable. So, in the process of moving my son to Philly for graduate school I booked a room at the Crowne Plaza for she and I. The hotel is beautiful...helpful personell....relaxing bar and restaurant. Food was excellent and the room was wonderful....don't think I ever […] slept in a more comfortable bed. My daughter loved it and her trip to the Philly Zoo. Mehr

For the price, this is a great hotel. It has a very nice restaurant/pub within the building. They have their own parking lot right next store. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff is very nice, especially Melissa at the front desk. We will definitely being staying here again. We did not get to use the pool because it was closed […] due to Hurricane Irene, so I cannot comment on that. Mehr

I like location and service. I like to book comfortable room with king bed. Swimming pool and gym are very nice. Hotel located in downtown. There are a lot of restaurants, stores and malls, parks.

Checked in around 9pm and the lady who checked us in seemed to be having a bad day and she let us know it. Not the greatest of first impressions. The rooms were ok, a bit smaller than the actual pictures. Parking is crazy at $36 for a 24 hr period and you don't have many other options. Factor that cost in when booking this hotel.
