Crowne Plaza Indianapolis - Downtown Union Station - Indianapolis

Leider haben die Zimmer keine Fenster nach außen. Es gibt im Erdgeschoss nur Fenster zum Gang im Hotel bzw. in den Etagen darüber zum Innenhof. Ansonsten sehr witzig mit alten Pullman-Wagen,die auch als Schlafwagen gemietet werden können und auch zentral in der Nähe von Restaurants und Mall.

Would prefer not to be so close to the pool-swimming kids woke us up earlier than we would have preferred.

Great hotel. HORRIBLE breakfast. Will not return because of the ineffable food.

Everthing was great but the staff was rude, and when i asked for something all i got was attudes. The cleanliness was awsome. The comfort of the room was awsome too. Because of the staff i will not stay there again.

Hotel was good BUT they charged me for three days parking $27 per day and I was only there two. 1) At what you pay for a stay - u shouldn't have to pay for parking and 2) $27 per nite = really.

Bathroom in first room had black hair everywhere including the floor and the toilet--had to get a new room. Second room didn't appear too clean either. Duvet cover had stains all over it and the mattress has a HUGE gouge in the corner and you could see the foam and springs. Will never stay here again.

The train cars were interesting to look at. But, for this price not worth the money. Booked a suite and it was nothing special, in a block of 4 rooms and everytime someone flushed a toliet it came through our room. Great sound to go to sleep to.

Very enjoyable 4 night stay. Location was good and people very friendly. Second time that I have stayed here and will stay again the next time I travel to Indianapolis.

Our room was great ! It was clean and the entire hotel was smoke free. We did not eat at the hotel, the menue was small but seemed reasonable. We were close to the circle and the mall.

I was recent a guest at this hotel for a professional conference at a neighboring hotel. I absolutely loved the train motif that is elegantly incorporated into much of the hotel. This is quite fascinating as you could actually feel real trains traveling under the hotel. The restaurant and bar were also very nice.

Everyone in this hotel were courteous and very friendly. Helpful. We would love to go back soon. We visit Indy alot and I love to stay in different hotels just for the experience and for my kids to see new places.

My sister and I stayed in one of the train rooms on the track side and had a wonderful time! It was fun to be able to hear every now and then actual train noise from the amtrak trains. Made us feel that we were actually going somewhere. Fun times!

We stayed here and there was a bloody bandaid in the bed. They automatically did not charge us for our room saying that this was not something that ever happens and they didnt feel right charging us. I would return.

This is my second stay at the Crown Plaza. I took my wife as a surprise and we stayed in one of the Pullman Car rooms. She was surprised and really enjoyed our stay. What great ambiance! Lots of construction in neighborhood, but that will be done soon and perhaps that will clean up the Plaza across the street.

Fantastic repurposing of existing property (historic train station) in convenient downtown location. Staff were very pleasant and parking is available steps away. Room was comfortable, but my only complaint was with the selfish dolts in the adjacent two rooms who did not respect the posted quiet hours, andconstantly went back and forth between their […] rooms and letting their doors bang. They also managed an argument right in front of my door too. Regardless, I very much enjoyed this hotel. Mehr

Room was very small. Didn't have a fridge, a flat screen tv, and the light on the tv was burnt out. It was also such a long walk at the back of the building.

The beds are terribly small. 2 adults CANNOT sleep comfortably in those beds. Shuttle was great until it left us at Conseco Fieldhouse and never came back. We were given free breakfast certificates due to the shuttle problem and we found a bug in the eggs. When we told someone they took the plate and that was it. 20 min later we asked the server if […] he new about the bug and ge said " yeah but it was free" no apology or anything! I had accidentally made the reservation for the wrong night -- with no hassle whatsoever, they accommodated my mistake. Unusual since I booked through hotels.com and they could have just charged me for another night's stay. Room itself was nice, bar was nice to hang out at, and it was a neat hotel. Didn't like the view of the train from my window. And the hallways were very humid. The room was well over price.

The Crowne Plaza in Indianapolis has a good conversion from a Train Station to Historic Hotel! Very good design and connected to the convention center is a definite plus, keep up the good work. I truly enjoyed my stay and hope to visit in the near future.

The hotel was so-so. The girls at the front desk were rude and snooty. Not very friendly at all. I wish I had stayed at the Omni.

I had to work at the convention center and the hotel is attached via sky walk - great location for dining and bars to catch a game or relax for the evening.

Great location...close to all the restaurants and nightlife and also the Mall. Interesting hotel...wish I would have booked one of the train car rooms. One warning though...depending on your room, you may be within about 100 feet of live railroad tracks. A train came bustin thru about 2 A.M. and I thought it was coming thru the wall...I swear the room […] shook. If you want a fun place to see some great blues, the Slippery Noodle is right around the corner. We hit it every time we are in town! Mehr

Overall, the experience was amazing! The hotel was located in a old railroad station. The designers of teh hotel did an awesome job incorporating the past history of the location into the modern design. The room weere everything I have come to expect from the Crowne Plaza. The only issue was with parking. The information about the hotel failed to mention […] the additional cost of parking in the lower structure. Mehr

Good location in the downtown area. This hotel is dated however and in need of updating. though it was clean. The resturant also needs updating.

We stayed in a regular room which was fine. Be aware that the actual train station is right next to the hotel and when the trains come in, your room really rumbles. Woke me out of sound sleep twice in one night. Room temperature controls didn't work-- very warm and stuffy. Beds, bathroom, tv, lighting all were fine.

This hotel is really neat. It's an active train station and some of the rooms are old train cars. It's about a block from downtown and within walking distance to the mall, bars, dinning, etc... Two thumbs up!
