Rosewood Hotel Georgia - Vancouver

The staff was very friendly and went out of their way to see that our needs were met. The location is convenient to many things (across the street from the Art Museum) and a short walk to Coal Harbor and Stanley Park.

Having stayed across the street in a very well established hotel chain; i decided to give the Rosewood a try for a comparison. It did not disappoint! The hotel has received a new refurb but i believe they've tried to keep a lot of the period features which gives this place the edge on there rivals. The rooms are wonderfully presented with a very stylish […] bathroom. We only ate in the restaurant one night but that couldn't be faulted either, My usual worries with fine dining is the lack of a decent portion and sometimes isn't hot enough for my liking but this was not an issue. The chefs brunoise was pretty good too! Overall, i would thoroughly recommend this hotel, the staff were delightful as were the hotel facillities. If you need to stay in downtown Vancouver, look no further. This hotel is the one you've been looking for! Mehr

Absolutely great hotel. I will definitely stay again in Rosewood hotel for my next trip to Vancouver. Every staff I met was very kind and helpful. The room was very clean, luxurious, and modern, not to mention the signature bathroom. In addition, indoor swimming pool was also very nice and convenient to use especially when you have a small child. I spent a week at the Rosewood in downtown Vancouver for a convention. During that time I got a solid feel for the place. I can say without a doubt this was the best hotel experience I have ever had. Staff: courtious, helpful, and pleasant, without exception. As I pulled up in my cab, the doorman had unloaded my baggage and opened the door for me as […] I was paying the driver. He even greeted me by name before I even had a chance to introduce myself. I arrived early, and my room was not yet ready. The staff not only locked my belongings in a safe room (I would consider this standard) they called my cell when the room was ready and placed all my belongings inside. During the remainder of the days, the staff was always warm and welcoming. Facilities: Beautiful building, rooms, gym, and pool area. Actually, amazing. The bathroom had radiant heated marble floors. A large bathtub in the middle of the room (I did take advantage of it). A walk-in shower with the fixture in the ceiling to simulate rain. Control of all lighting from multiple rooms. The gym had all new equipment- nothing was lacking. The pool... you have to see it. On the 4th floor, it has windows on the bottom over another room (ballroom/dining area)? I was able to swim daily in mid-March. Comfort: Yes. Bed and linens were very comfortable. Turndown service included a cookie, greeting card, and some sort of tablecloth on the floor in fornt of the bed so your heavenly feet don't actually have to ever touch the ground. Large TV (at least 42" plasma screen TV) to unwind. Overall: Awesome. I would definitely come back and stay here again. Well worth the expense. Mehr

Recently spenty a week at the Georgia and my husband and I were very impressed with the whole experience, despite the dreary weather. Good location, lovely decor, great staff particularly Connie, James and Jim. Nothing was too hard to look into or organise and these three staff contirbuted greatly in winning our confidence in the hotel. Will stay again […] in the future. Mehr

This is the best hotel that I've ever stayed at. I read a review of this hotel in sky magazine on a delta flight and gave it a try. Boy were they right. This is a customer service oriented boutique hotel that is just lovely.

The Rosewood Hotel Georgia was fantastic. The staff were very nice, polite, attentive and helpful. The room was very clean and very comfortable. The neighborhood is a short walking distance from shopping, eating and exploring. It was a perfect choice for our vacation.

My wife and I took the Amtrak train from Seattle to Vancouver for a 3 day weekend this past week. Hotel Rosewood I found in the Internet, as it was downtown and appeared to be what we were looking for by their web site. We've stayed at the Four Seasons (across the street) as well as other highly reccomended hotels. From this point on our "Vancouver […] Home" will be The Rosewood Georgia. Every single staff member was memorably pleasant & cheerful, well informed, helpful, and exceeded my high standards of service (being in the hospitality business). Derek at "The 1927 Bar" in the lobby was both a craftsman and a perfectionist as well as a host of knowledge. Mathew, the concierge, was both engaging and helpful with reservations and directions. Jim the "driver", has a warm and engaging personality, as well as unexpectedly drove us in their fantastic Bentley to our dinner reservation one night. Leyla in room service, James at the front desk, Jimi at concierge, and all the names I fail to remember were wonderful. Truly, world class service. Our Deluxe King Room was also fantastic, with "waterfall shower", heated marble floors and perfectly appointed (and my wife loved the huge, free standing bath tub). The beds and pillows are the most comfortable we've ever encountered, and the flat screen TV large enough to watch from the the huge bed in the spacious room. Imagine the opulence of the 1920's... marble floors, dark panel walls, glistening chandeliers, grand piano in the corner, dim cocktail lounge and old fashioned service. Built in 1927 in the peak of the jazz era, the Hotel Rosewood Georgia is class and a must-stay for all those traveling to Vancouver. We were there on our honeymoon and it is perfect […] in every way. The rooms were amazing and luxurious to every detail, the hotel itself was outstanding but above all, the service was impeccable. Very discrete, respectful and full of those little touches that few other hotels would think about. The cocktail bar is amazing, and a meal at the Hawksworth well worth it - it was one of the best meals I have had in a very long time (we had the Valentines tasting menu). You will need to book in advance for the restaurant. Even the breakfast cafe is small and understated, but quality all around. Best of all - if you go, make use of the 2007 Bentley, a free hotel shuttle to anywhere in downtown area... what a ride! The driver (Jim) is incredibly knowledgeable as a local of many years and fills you in with the history and wonders of the city. To be honest, I rarely write reviews - but this time, I felt compelled; as this hotel truly blew my mind away in every aspect. It would be my top pick if I were to head back to Vancouver again. Do stay there, it's an experience not to be missed. Oh location is perfect and within walking distance (or Bentley distance) of all the main areas - Waterfront, Granville Island, Gastown, Robson Street, Granville Street Mall, Pacific Rim, etc..... the hotel was comfortable with friendly staff. the room itself was clean with an amazing shower but there were some parts of the room that were unfinished. there was a small window, not big enough to let any light in. overall, friendly staff and a comfortable stay but for the price of the room not worth it.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves during our stay at the Rosewood Georgia Hotel. Staff, room all exceptional. The bed was very very comfortable and the shower was amazing. It is the perfect hotel for a weekend escape into the city.excellent location for everything going on downtown.

Great rooms, linen, bathrooms - heated floors, good showers, Tassimo coffee. Pricey in peak season but typical for downtown. Central location close to everything. Hawksworth good but expensive.

Extremely talented and attentive staff in this small luxury hotel in beautiful Vancouver. After a day the staff knew us by name and provided that very personal service you expect from Rosewood hotels (we also love Las Ventanas in Mexico). I really love the modern decor and heritage of this boutique style hotel. Hotel staff was excellent and definately made an effort to make my stay special. The driver of the Bentley, Jim is very nice and riding in that car was worth staying at this hotel. Drinks in the hotel bar were very good, pricey but they are top shelf and most drinks are doubles. […] The bathroom in the deluxe room is amazing with the huge soaker tub and rain shower. My husband and I travel a lot and this is quite possibly the most beautiful hotel we have ever stayed in. The entire experience was wonderful and you cannot get better quality! If you are in Vancouver, stay here! It has a perfect location and you won't be let down!!!!!

Best hotel and service we ever had.

Well situated for downtown & Canada Place. Harbour is about 5 blocks away. Newly renovated & staff are very eager to please.

Loved the hotel. It's the nicest I've ever stayed in. Staff were so helpful and polite. Room is like a mini apartment. Intelligent lighting. Bathroom with amazing marble rain shower, and the tile floor seemed heated! Food at their bar was great but expensive. Small glass of Sparking water was $5 and mediocre wine was $15 per glass. Food was priced decent […] since the food was great. Enjoy the hotel, but get drinks somewhere else! And no hot tub or soaking bath anywhere unless you get a suite. Mehr

A lovely hotel, right in the heart of Vancouver. All the staff were lovely and our room was clean and cosy! Would definitely stay here again - opt for the turn down service!

This hotel has just been through a four year remodel and is gorgeous. The service is superb and the location couldn't be better in the heart of downtown. They are working very hard to establish the hotel. I would recommend it to everyone.

knocking off long time favorite, the Bangkok Pennisula. the service was impeccable, conceirges outstanding, room delighful.

The room was gorgeous, staff were helpful, services were impeccable, location was great . . . I cannot say anything bad about this place. The bathroom is breathtakingly beautiful - the stone tiles, huge crowfoot tub in the middle, rainfall shower, and two sinks. It wasn't just a place to sleep for us.

Minha experiencia no Rosewood, foi muito melhor do que imaginaria ser, desde a chegada na garagem, recepção,concierge, todos sempre muito gentis e se esforçando sempre ao máximo para nos atender, ao serviços impecável das camareiras , o hotel está novíssimo,e a localização dele é perfeita.

Hotel di lusso in posizione strategica e servizio al limite della perfezione. Tuttavia ci sono camere in posizione non soddisfacente. Ciò può passare se vi si soggiorna per una notte ma per noi che abbiamo dormito per cinque la posizione della nostra camera era claustrofobica e anche rumorosa visto che nel palazzo difronte vi erano lavori in corso.
