Das Hotel liegt sehr ruhig direkt gegenüber vom Nijo Schloss und direkt neben der U-Bahn Nijo Mae. Schöner Blick. Service ist sehr gut, die Preise entsprechend hoch (ein Bier 800 Y). Die Zimmer sind sauber, groß, aber man sieht auch ihr Alter. Der Pool ist klein, Preis (1500Yen/P)/Leistung micht OK. Frühstücksbuffet, aber der Preis mit 2500 Yen/P ist […] auch nicht schlecht.. Aber ein Cafes links vom Hotel (ca. 300 m) und eins rechts (ca. 200m). Rechts beim dem alten Herren ist es netter und etwas günstiger (ca. 1500 Yen für zwei). Vor dem Hotel hält ein Bus der durchaus eine praktische Route fährt. Gegenüber dem Hotel liegt ein kleines aber exelentes Yakitori Restaurant (Daikitchi o.ä.). Mehr

The Ana Hotel Kyoto proved to be a very good hotel in this price range. Nice double room, conveniently located opposite the main entrance to the Nijo castle, good subway connection. The rate obtaiend here in this server was very good, however, when extending my stay I had to pay more. Breakfast vey good.

Great hotel, ideally located near Ninjojo Castle. Rental of bikes at the hotel.

Have been to Kyoto several times, but this is the first with our 5yr old in tow! The ANA (ZenNiKu to the cabdrivers) is located right across from Nijojo, has a subway stop not even a block away, and is so centrally located as to be equidistant to all the sites we wanted to see. It has a standard restaurant and then some nicer places downstairs, but […] the staff also recommended other restaurants which were perfect for us. Staff set us up with kid kimono places (either purchase or rent for photo). Staff couldn't have been better. The gym equipment was not very good according to my husband, but the pool was nice and warm and allowed kids! There is a fee charged, but a great treat after sightseeing! Mehr

2700 yen per person ! Fortunately there is a little bar 50 meters awway on the left when going out (on the Nijojo side) with a decent 600 Y breakfast! The rest of the hotel is unchanged from ten years ago and it looks a littkle bit weary...

Very nice hotel, nice location, comfortable room, convenient to subway and bus stop. The van from the central train station was a major plus. Breakfast buffet way over priced, but all restrauants in Japan are. Free use of internet on computer at lobby.

I stayed here for 2 days and really liked the hotel. The rooms are slightly dated, but were by far the largest rooms i had stayed during my 3 week trip of Japan. The single room i had was so much bigger than any double or twin/Japanese style room i had in other hotels. The hotels location is right near a bus stop and subway, making it an ideal place […] to travel around Kyoto. Also the free shuttle bus to Kyoto station is very handy. Great location. Older hotel with smaller rooms. Clean but cramped and even nonsmoking floors had faint cigarette odor. Great restaurants in the hotel.

The ANA hotel is right by the Nijo-mae subway stop and directly across from the castle. It has a beautiful lobby and bar area with a waterfall/atrium area. We had three people in our room and surprisingly the room was large enough to accommodate us without being too cramped. The bathroom was spacious as well. We were there for New Year's and as a bonus […] received drink coupons for the party they were hosting. Overall, I would recommend this hotel. As a solo woman traveler to Kyoto, I was very happy with my experience here. The staff were very welcoming and friendly (as they are all over Japan it seems). The young kimono-clad girl hauled my heavy luggage upstairs despite my protests. They really want to be of service. And then they don't accept tips (another Japanese custom)! Very convenient to the subway line and buses and across from the castle (which I didn't have time to visit). I only stayed one night but was very pleased with this hotel and would consider it for a future stay with my husband and children. Also a big plus is the free shuttle to and from the train station. The beds were the only disappointment of this hotel. The bed was very firm, too firm, so we awakened with stiff backs. And the pilllows were a little too firm.

Our room was of fairly good size, and it easily accommodated two adults with medium sized suitcases. The staff were outstanding: attentive, helpful and courteous. The nearest subway platform is about a five minute walk, and there is a bus stop across the street. Walking to the subway and taking the subway to the city center takes about 10-15 minutes […] total. ANA Hotel Kyoto is located very centrally. Our room was very comfortable although the furniture was little bit old.Their hotel staff very helpful and hotel shuttle service to the Kyoto station was a blessing saving us lot of money on taxis.It is best to choose room with breakfast. Was only able to spend one night here on our honeymoon before traveling to different parts of Japan. The service was absolutely fantastic! There is a shuttle bus that picks you up from the JR Train Station and when you get there, women in yukatas (kimonos) rush to help you with your bags. They bring your bags to your room after checkin so you can just […] relax. There are several restaurants in the hotel, very pricey. We ate at one of the Chinese restaurants at the hotel since it was the cheapest and the food was great. You can get to Nijo Castle easily since it is right across the street! Unfortunately, to see any other attractions (temples, shrines, castles, palace) you would need to take public transportation or rent a bike since everything else was too far to walk. There are various places to eat in the area all based on different budgets. The room was big and spacious, compared to other Japanese hotel rooms. Mehr

Located centrally in Kyoto. Hotel Shuttle to Kyoto Station (railway/bus hub and location of restraurants and tourist info center), was frequent so we ate there at subway, McDonald, Pastry shops also there. Hotel staff very nice. Great souvenier shop and pricey restaurantes. Kiimona clad ladies in lobby gave helpful directions and BEST OF ALL a MAP in […] English with bus #s and stops marked in ENGLISH! The thing that stood out to me the most about this hotel was the service. First, there's a free shuttle to & from the Kyoto JR station, which is abundantly helpful. It's a blue shuttle near the McDonald's at the far end of the exit to the station. Secondly, the staff at the hotel is great. Ladies in kimonos wander about the lobby, ready to help you. […] They speak English, though they might think they can't. Ask for a map with bus and subway lines on it (though the bus can be an adventure in claustrophobia, especially on a rainy day!). The lobby of the hotel does reek of smoke, but the rooms don't. There is a computer in the lobby for internet, plus a cable in the room if you have your own machine. I booked a standard room and it was huge, even by western standards. Big bathroom with plenty of amenities, big bed, big room! Free newspaper, too. It was pretty quiet as well, even though they play various sounds through speakers in the hallway (in the morning, there are bird calls, for example). Can't really hear it in your room, though. There's also a 7-11 nearby if you get hungry or thirsty and don't want to eat in the hotel restaurants, which looked pricey. By all means, if you go to the Golden Temple and the usual sites, also check out the Nijo-jo castle across the street from the ANA Hotel. Admittance is cheap and totally worth it (in my mind). Lots to see, so I felt I got my money's worth. The subway doesn't go to a whole lot of tourist sites, but I did take it a few stops to see the Nanzen-ji temple, which was really cool. Mehr

The hotel staff was terrific in every way. The food at the hotel was outstanding. The breakfast buffet was wonderful, but expensive if you are paying for it, make sure to include it in your hotel price. They have a free shuttle service every 15min. that will pick you up and return you to the Kyoto Station. About a 15min ride. Lots of shopping and restuarants […] there too. It is right across the street from the Nijo Castle. There is a subway station about a 5 min walk from hotel. You have access to free computer in the lobby. Would stay there again. Mehr

I loved the hotel. My two favorite things was the bathroom and one of the best breakfast buffets that I have ever had. The room had a good size with a large bathroom. I liked the bathtub better than my own! Our view was directly to Nijo castle. The staff was very polite and helped us with every request. We ordered ice and had it within 2 minutes delivered […] to our room - free. The free shuttle from/to the Kyoto train station was very convenient. I would always stay there again. Mehr

pretty run down and the concierge gave terrible recommendations. stay at a different hotel and save yourself the price of a 4 star hotel that isn't 4 stars.

The hotel provides free shuttle to and from Kyoto station. Service is good. Has in room internet connection and 1 computer with internet in the lobby for the use of guests - which is free. Very close to Nijo Castle.

Great hotel - everything very good indee from free shuttle that picked us up at station to wonderful welcoming staff. Only two quibbles- 1) they neeed more than one free internet acess computer. Lots of queues with people looking up tourist info and printing put boarding cardsetc 2) pool should be FREE like ot is in other major hotels in the west. […] - $15 for a swim is outrageous. Mehr

I had one meal in one of the restaurants on the 1F. The Caesar's salad tasted weird as well as the Club sandwich (but the quality was OK). Breakfast is not included in the rate. To access the pool/bath area (a standard thing in Japan) you need to pay around 10€. The location of the hotel is good for connections (subway and buses in walking distance) […] but far away from downtown and train station (free shuttle bus provided though). The rate should either cost less, or offer more for the price. Friendly and helpful staff. I would look though for a hotel in a more convenient location or spend a bit more to get way more for the price. Mehr

We chose this hotel based on the great reviews and the ANA lived up to them. We got off the bullet train and the free ANA shuttle was already there to take us to the hotel (it runs every 15 min). At the hotel, the staff speaks english and helped us with all our needs. The hotel is perfectly situated right next to the Nijojo Castle and is one block from […] the bus stop and subway station that take you to all the good places in Kyoto. They have western and japanese restaurants in the hotel or you can walk to some local places they recommend. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Mehr

Nijo Castle garden is one of the greenest places in the world! It is right across the street, with many local restaurants offering traditional japanese cuisine.

2部屋希望し、予約したのに一部屋に変更された。風呂のシャワーは、上部のフックにセット出来ず立ち上がってのシャワー出来ず。和室の畳は、座ると、畳のカスがズボンに着く程古い。等、非常に宜しくなかった。二度と利用したくない。

Navette gratuite depuis la gare. Accueil. Une employée ((façon geisha) vous guide jusqu'à votre chambre! Décor, luxe, professionnalisme. un vrai 4 étoiles. N.B.: prix en conséquence. J'y retournerais volontiers.

ホテルは十分満足。二条城前で大変環境も良い。 食事は　それなりの値段なので　安いところは地下鉄　バス　　タクシーなどで河原町あたりに出たほうが良いかも。 この値段で泊まれたのは　大変お得でした。

Hotelazo. La habitación muy grande (cosa rara en Japón), y también el baño. La cama gigante y muy cómoda. Muy bien equipada. Además limpísima y extremadamente silenciosa. La parada de metro está a 50m y la de bus (que se usa más) a 100m. El hotel tiene servicio de microbus cada 15 min. a/desde la estación de kioto, lo cual resulta muy cómodo y se agradece […] teniendo en cuenta el precio del metro. El personal habla inglés y es muy agradable; te informan de todo a la perfección. En general, perfecto y muy recomendable. Por sacar una pega: pese a su ubicación céntrica, queda a unos 10-15 min. de Ginza, el verdadero centro. Mehr

今回は、車で行きましたが、エレベーターを上がって、フロントに向かうと、女性はみなさん着物姿で、”やっぱり京都やな！”と思いその雰囲気に癒されました。いろんなシティホテルに行きましたが初めてで、とっても新鮮で、家内とも次も全日空ホテル京都にしようと頷き合いました。

The hotel has a beautiful view over an old castle, the rooms are large compared to the tokyo hotels, and the buffet breakfast has a large choice of good quality food It was a joyable stay, and will certainly recommand this hotel.

Aprés avoir habité 2 années à Kyoto, je ne peux que recommander cet hotel, une image du Japon et de son acceuil.situé à l'extérieur du centre de Kyoto mais parfaitement desservi par bus n'hesitez pas
